Getting to Know Your Focus
Review all Warnings, Cautions and additional device
information in your User Manual.
Become familiar with the key features of the Focus and the
User interface
Operation
LED
The Green light indicates normal operation.
When the Focus unit senses inhalation, a
pulse of oxygen is delivered through the
nasal cannula. The green light on the unit’s
control panel blinks each time a breath is
detected.
When the service indicator illuminates
solid amber, it is time for your Focus unit
to be inspected and/or serviced by your
Equipment Provider.
Alarm
Indicator
Indicates an alarm condition. Immediate
response is necessary. Refer to the
troubleshooting table in the user manual
and contact your home care provider.
ON/OFF
Switch
Located on the operation cord and AC
power supply, this turns the Focus on.
There are no settings to adjust so simply
press the ON/OFF (I/O) switch in the I (ON)
direction and the Focus will power on.
Battery
Gauge
Equipped with 4 lights (25-100%) to
indicate the level of battery charge.
To check the battery charge, press the gray
button to display the current charge.
When charging, the % light will blink until
the corresponding charge is reached and
then it will stop blinking and remain on.
Buzzer: An audible alarm alerts you to the operating
condition of the device, either a warning or failure, and
sounds upon start-up to conrm operation.
