Image Settings
Choose from the following effects to add a

Built-in Flash with Red-Eye Reduction
Perfect for taking photos at night, indoors
or filling in shadows.
Continuous Shooting Mode
Enables rapid fire shooting, so you will
never miss the action. Shoot up to
3frames-per-second (1632 x 1224) or
5frames-per-second (1280 x 960).
Photo Review
Display a photo simply by holding down
the PHOTO button. The display time can
be set from 2 to 10 seconds.
Simultaneous Photo Recording
Capture e-mail ready digital photos (640
x 480 pixels) to a memory card while you
record video to a tape.
Low-Light Features
The camcorder’s Night Mode allows you to
capture video under low-light conditions. It
selects the ideal shutter speed and sensi-
tivity combination to help brighten up the
scene, without sacrificing color. To experi-
ence the ultimate in low-light recording,
simply turn on the Mini Video Light
(Optura 60). It allows you to keep shooting
even in the dark.
USB 2.0 High Speed (Optura 60)
For fast and easy transfer of full-quality
digital video to a computer, it is equipped
with a USB 2.0 Hi-speed terminal.
Windows Movie Maker2 and other video
editing software supports this interface.
Manual Audio Control
For complete control, the camcorder offers
manual audio adjustment. The audio level
can be monitored in the viewfinder or LCD
viewscreen.
Memory Card Slot
The Optura 50 and Optura 60 feature a
built-in slot for an SD Memory Card or
MultiMediaCard. Easily transfer digital
photos toyour PC directly from the
camcorder using USB and IEEE1394.
You can also record movie clips in
Motion JPEG format for the full length of
an SD Memory Card. These mini-movies
areideal for attaching to an e-mail or
postingon the web.
