Left side: Remove panels from the
printer as shown.
Fit the left scanner mount using 3 of
the screws supplied, and then replace
lower cover only.

Right side: Remove panels from the
printer as shown.
Fit the right scanner mount using 3 of
the screws supplied, and then replace
lower cover only.

Place scanner on
scanner mounts.

Place the scanner’s feet in the holes
on top of the scanner mounts and
pull the scanner to the front.
Secure in place using the 2 thumb
screws provided.

Fit Document Return Guides to
scanner.

Fit Cable Clips.

Remove shipping packing from
scanner.
Installation to a desktop

Fit Document Return Guides to
scanner.

Remove shipping packing from
scanner.

Fit the desktop feet to scanner.
Fit the locking screw.

Power on.
Insert CD into PC.
Browse CD.
Select Auto-run.
Install “ScanApp Le”.
Select maintenance videos.
Select documentation folder.

Configure scanner network
address.
Connect Power and Network Quick COPY
Insert document into the centre
of the scanner, face up.
Select COPY function and
press the Green button.
Collect your copy from the printer.

cables.

Quick SCAN to USB Quick SCAN to PC
Insert document into the centre of
the scanner, face up.
Insert USB memory stick
(FAT32, 128GB max).
Do not use a USB extension
cable.
Select SCAN to USB function and
press the Green button.
Wait before removing USB stick.
Ensure “ScanApp Le” is running
Insert document into the centre of
the scanner, face up.
Select SCAN to PC function and
press the Green button.
Wait for transfer to PC.
Select target PC.
