Delay
Check if the input range is correct. Turn the power ON. The green LED is ON. Adjust level, delay and hysteresis (difference between the alarm ON and
the alarm OFF thresholds) knobs to the desired value. When the input current exceeds (or drops below) the set point for more than the set delay time,
red LED (flashing during the delay time) turns ON. Relay and yellow LED turn ON if relay is normally de-energized, they turn OFF if normally energized.

Mounting
Hang the device to the DIN-Rail being sure that
the spring closes. Use a screwdriver to remove
the product
Packaging
The packing material should be kept for redeliv-
ery in case of replacement or repair.

Connect the power supply to the proper terminals:
Connect Y1 and Y2 (DIB01) or connect pins 5 and 7(PIB01) in series with the load (taking care of
polarity if DC). Connect the relay output according to the ratings.

Adjust the input range setting the DIP switches 1 and 2. Select the desired function setting the DIP switches 3 to 6. To access the DIP switches open
the plastic cover using a screwdriver as shown on the left.
SW3 selects the status of the relay: normally energized (relay OFF in alarm condition) or normally de-energized (relay ON in alarm condition). SW4
selects the power-ON delay (inhibit of the alarm at the power-ON): 1s or 6s. SW5 selects the contact input function: latch or inhibit of alarm enable.
SW6 selects the function: under or overcurrent.
For the 10 A model (DIB01-PIB01) set the function using the DIP-switches 1 to 4 istead of 3 to 6.
Do not open the DIP switches cover if the power supply is ON
Latch function: when the alarm trips, the alarm status of the relay output is maintained until the alarm condition is no longer present and manual
reset takes place.
Inhibit function: when the alarm trips, relay output operation can be avoided when not desired (maintenance, transients).

General warnings
- Read carefully the present instruction manual. If the device
is used in a manner not specified by the manufacturer the
protection function may be impaired.
- All operations concerning installation, or unmounting, of
device or modules shall be carried out by qualified personnel
and after having disconnected all power sources.
- A readily accessible overcurrent protection ( fuse or circu-
it breaker) shall be incorporated in the building installation
wiring.
UL NOTES
- All the devices shall be installed in a pollution degree 2
environment or better.
- Use 60 or 75°C copper (CU) conductor and wire size No.
30-14 AWG (from 0.06mm2to 2.1mm2), stranded or solid
(DIB01 only).
- Terminal tightening torque of 4.4 Lb-In” (DIB01 only).
- Being these devices Overvoltage Category III they are: “For
use in a circuit where devices or system, including filters or
air gaps, are used to control overvoltages at the maximum
rated impulse withstand voltage peak of 4.0 kV. Devices
or system shall be evaluated using the requirements in the
Standard for Transient Voltage Surge Suppressors, UL 1449.
- For UL61010 compliance: PIB01 models shall be used with
Carlo Gavazzi ZPD11, ZPD11A or ZPD11XA DIN Rail Sock-
ets.
NOTES UL
- Le dispositif doit être installé dans un environnement de

calibre de fil AWG30 à AWG14 (0,06 mm2à 2,1mm2), toronnè
