BEFORE FIRST USE
Your CASCADE a liance has been ackaged carefully to
ensure the roduct reaches you in good condition. If the
roduct has been damaged, dro ed, has a malfunction in any
way, or if the su ly cord is damaged, immediately contact
your retailer for re lacement or re air.
Carefully un ack your CASCADE a liance. Make sure you do
not discard any ackaging material until all arts of the
a liance have been found.
Carefully wi e the exterior of the a liance to remove any dust
that may have accumulated. Dry with a dry towel. Do not use
harsh abrasive cleaners. Remove any label or sticker.
WARNING! Do not immerse in water or any other liquids.
SAFETY AND INSTALLATION
Wa ning! Always install this a liance on a heat resistant
level surface away from any liquid carrying vessel or other
heat source.
Wa ning! Do not let the su ly cord hang over the edge of
any table as there may be a risk of scalding or electric shock
should young children ull the a liance from the bench.
Caution! To revent damage to the a liance do not use
alkaline cleaning agents when cleaning. Use a soft cloth and a
mild detergent.
Caution! Only use cleaning agents as directed on the
instructions su lied.

OPERATION GUIDE
Check fo damage
U on o ening lease ensure that all arts are available and
that the a liance, cord and lug are not damaged.
Connect to a suitable ower su ly, corres onding to that of
the a liance, 220-240V~ 50Hz.
Remove the stainless steel dome lid.
To allow the air tra ed in the eggs to esca e make small
holes in the to s of the eggs by using the ‘egg ecker’ located
under the su lied water measuring cu . Wa ning! Be very
careful; the ti is very shar . Make the hole at the narrow end
of the eggshell.
Place u to 7 fresh hens eggs onto the lastic s acer leaving
the “ ointy” smaller end of the egg ointing u .
After the eggs are in lace fill the water cu to the desired
level de ending on the degree to which you require the eggs
cooked SOFT, MEDIUM or HARD-boiled. Fill the water to the
level number equal to the number of eggs in the cooker.
For exam le if you wanted to cook 4 HARD-boiled eggs then
you would follow the HARD scale and fill it to the level showing
4.
Pour the water into the stainless cooking chamber under the
eggs and lace the lid back on to .
Cooking time will vary from 12 minutes SOFT-boiled to 17
minutes for a HARD-boiled result.

Turn the ower on and switch the illuminated switch to ‘I’ to
begin cooking.
CAUTION! The metal dome will be very hot when in use, take
care only to touch the black lastic arts when o ening the
dome. NEVER move the cooker when in o eration or when
hot. Do not cover the steam hole on the to of the cooking
dome and be aware that very hot steam will be resent when
cooking.
When the cooking is com lete an audible warning will sound,
sim ly turn the illuminated switch to ‘O’ and turn off the ower
at the wall socket.
You may now remove the lid and move the eggs to a late to
cool. Be careful as the eggs will be very hot and may burn
fingers.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electric a liances always observe safety
regulations where a licable to reduce the risk of fire, electric
shock and ersonal injury. Always check that the ower su ly
corres onds to the voltage on the rating late.
Always use the ‘egg ecker’ su lied to make holes in the to s
of the eggs before cooking or the egg shells will crack.
CAUTION: Care is to be taken to avoid injury from being
caused by the ‘egg ecker’ as its oint is very shar .

Supply
This a liance must be connected to a suitable 230-240V~
50Hz ower su ly. If using an extension cord, ensure that the
extension cord is of a suitable 10 Am ower rating and of a
suitable size. Fully uncoil any cord used as a coiled cord may
overheat. It is not recommended to use other a liances on
the same circuit as that su lying any critical a liance such
as refrigerators, ovens or similar that may require constant
electricity su ly.
Supply co d and plug
Do not abuse or damage the ower cord. Fully uncoil before
use. If the su ly cord is damaged, it must be re laced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified
erson in order to avoid a hazard.
Child en
Caution. Kee out of reach of children. This a liance is not
intended for use by young children or infirm ersons. Young
children must be su ervised by a res onsible erson to ensure
that they can o erate the a liance safely. Young children
should be su ervised to ensure that they do not lay with the
a liance
WARNING: Only allow children to use the a liance
without adult su ervision after adequate instruction has been
given so that the child is able to use the a liance safely and
understands the hazards of im ro er use.
Use and envi onment
Do not use outdoors. Do not leave in direct sunlight as this
may damage the lastic. This a liance is for household use
only, not commercial or industrial use. The ower socket must
be readily accessible so that the oven can be un lugged in an
emergency.

If smoke is observed, switch off the a liance immediately.
Hot Su faces
Do not touch hot surfaces, allow a liance to cool com letely
before cleaning.
Damaged o d opped
Always ins ect your a liance before use. Do not use this
a liance if it has been damaged, dro ed, left outdoors or
dro ed in water. Return it to an authorised service dealer for
examination and re air.
Wate
Do not immerse in water or other liquids or use near
washbasins or sinks. Ensure that the a liance does not get
wet (water s lashes etc.) and do not use it with wet hands.
Dange to child en
Safely dis ose of lastic bags and other com onents of the
ackaging. They may be otentially dangerous to children.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Wa ning! When not in use or before cleaning, always
disconnect the a liance from the mains su ly.
Decalcification: Regular cleaning of the stainless steel hot
water cooking late will be required as common egg shells
contain high quantities of calcium salts that will built u on the
late over time as they esca e from the eggs via the steam
cooking rocess.
Cleaning:
Regularly clean the outside of the a liance with a soft dam
cloth and dry it with a dry towel. Do not immerse in water. Do
not use harsh solvents to clean the lastic.

Warranty Card
This product is guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship for a period of two
years from the date of purchase with proof of purchase. The obligation to the purchaser
under this warranty is limited to servicing the unit and replacing defective parts or refund
when the product is returned freight prepaid to the retailer with proof of purchase. This
warranty becomes void if the product has been tampered with, damaged by accident,
damaged in any other way by improper use or has been purchased second hand. All
production orders have quality inspections. In the unlikely event of a deficiency, please
contact the retailer from which this product was purchased
.
