thejoiningangleofyourCS910to
theangleofyourcuttingmachine.
Aslongasyoudonothaveyour
cuttingmachineoritsblade
changedorrepaired,yourCS910
willalwaysjoinperfectlyatthe
sameangleasyoursawiscutting.
•Takeoneofyourwidestmoulding
andcuttopiecesofit.Positionthetwopiecesofmouldingagainstthestopsfences.

TheCS910isdesignedtoenablewedgingofmouldingsat1 or2
points,withoneorseveralwedgesstackedateachofthesetwo
positions.
Thechoicemustbemadeaccordingtothewidthandtheheightof
themoulding.

Thesizeofthewedges(5,7,10,12or15mm- 3/16",1/4",3/8",1/7",5/8")mustbe
selectedonthebasisoftheheightofthemoulding. Asa generalrulea minimumallowanceof
2mm(2/25")ismadeabovethewedge.
E.g.:Mouldingthickness12mm(1/2"): 10mm(3/8")wedge(seebelow)

distancebetweenthemouldingandplungerinminimized.

TIP/HINT: Forproductionjoining,itisrecommendedtoreducethedistance
ofplungerP toapprox3/8"fromthemoulding,usingscrewC,andto
acceleratethefiringofwedgesbyadjustingbuttonT (towards+)(see

ItisalsopossibletocontrolthefiringrateofplungerP usingtheknurledbuttonR
locatedatthetopofthemachine.

thesecondmouldingagainstrightfenceN
andslideituntilittouchesthefirstone,

4- Gentlypressonthepedaltolockboth
mouldingsbymeansofclampD,
5- Thenpressthepedalfullytofirethefirst
wedge.
Whereseveralwedgesmightbestacked,
slightlywithdrawpedalpressureinorderto
keepthemouldingsclamped,thenfullypress
onceagainandthesecondwedgewillbe
locatedtoreinforcethefirstone.
6- Whenfiringwedgeatthesecond
position,slightlywithdrawpressureonthe
pedal,movethebrackettotheotherposition,
thenpressfullyonceagaininordertoinsert
awedge,
7- Fullyreleasethepedal.

3- A/IFHAMMERISBROKEN: ItwillhaveremainedinblockH,andinthiscase:
a)Usinga 2,5mmAllenkey,unscrewthe2 centralscrews(reference2 inFIGURE10)which
holdthefixguideinposition,
b)Removethefixguidecompletely,thenremovethebrokenhammer.Ifthehammerwillnotcome
out,removetheassemblyscrewsofblockH.Removehammer.
c)Re-assemblytheblockH (ThetwoplatesoftheblockH arefactorysetandpinned.Don't
replacethemseparately.Relocatethefixedguideandtightenitstwoscrews( R E P . 2 ) ,
d)Relocatetheblockinitshousinginthecorrectdirection,i.e.withthewindowfacingthewedge
cartridge; checkwithyourfingerthattheblockH isnothigherthanthemachine'sworktable.
e)LocktheblockH retainingscrewusingtheAllenkey,
f)Fitthenewhammer(withtheholedownwards)inblockH fromthetopuntilitnolonger
protrudes,
g)Switchthemachineon,inserta bracketortwomouldingpiecesandsimulatea stapling
operation,(withoutwedgecartridge)
h)Thenewhammerwillautomaticallytakethecorrectpositioninthemachine,
i)Reloadthecartridge.

Ifglueisused,lightlyspraytheplateswithsiliconeoil
(aerosolcan),whichwillmakeiteasiertocleanoff
spotsofglueafterdrying.
Cleanthetabletopperiodically,preferablywitha non-scratchingmaterial.Removeallexcessglue
asfastaspossible.
