Motors
Plese note tht while Sidewinder  is cpble of hndling
incredible mounts of power, your motor must lso be up for the
tsk. Alwys run your motor within the mnufcturer’s specs.

let the motor get bove º C (ºF). Excessive het in the motor
cn dmge the motor, the Sidewinder  nd your btteries.
Gearing
Alwys strt with stock gering. If you wish to chnge
the gering, motor, or bttery, you must check your motor
temperture frequently on the first run. If the motor gets too
hot, reduce the pinion size, increse the spur size, or reduce
the pck voltge. Additionl informtion bout gering cn

Programming
Sidewinder  is progrmmble vi your trnsmitter, indows®

GETTING STARTED
. Solder  high qulity bttery connector to the ESC (see Driver’s Ed Guide,
“Connectors nd Power iring”).
. ount the ESC nd motor into the vehicle.
. Connect motor to the ESC (see Driver’s Ed Guide, “otor iring”)
. Plug the RX wire into the throttle (#) chnnel on your receiver.
. Plug Fn Rx wire into the Aux chnnel or nother open chnnel on your
receiver.
. Clibrte your ESC to your rdio (see Driver’s Ed Guide, “How to Clibrte the
ESC”)
YOU ARE NOW READY TO GO!
THROTTLE CALIBRATION
. Rdio on, bttery plugged in, ESC o.
. Hold full throttle, turn ESC on (green LED).
. hen red LED flshes, go to full reverse.
. hen yellow LED flshes, go to neutrl.
