INTENDED USE
This product has been designed for the inhalation of medicines for the treatment of
respiratory illnesses.

• Certied medical professionals (physicians, nurses and therapists).
• Patients in their home environment with home health-care support for treatment
under the directions of a qualied physician.
The user must understand the general operation of the device and the content of the
instruction manual.
It is forbidden to use the device on patients who are unconscious or who cannot
breath on their own.

People who suer from respiratory illnesses and who need to take inhalation medicines.
Suitable both for pediatric and adult use.

This product has been designed for home use as well as for medical clinic settings and
hospital use.

The minimum product lifespan periods are reported below and are based on the assumption
that the product is used to nebulize a saline solution (2ml) twice a day, 7.5min at a time, at
an ambient temperature of 23°C.
The lifespan period may vary depending on the usage environment.
• Compressor (main unit): 3 years
• Nebulizer - air tube - mouthpiece - nose piece - pediatric mask - adult mask: 1 year.
Frequent product use may shorten the expected lifespan.
• Air lter: 60 days.

Follow the warnings and precautions reported in the instruction manual.

• Follow the instructions for use. This manual contains important information on the
operation and safety of this device. Please, read the instructions carefully before using the
device and keep them handy for future reference.
• This device must be used exclusively as described in this manual. The manufacturer shall
not be liable for any damages caused by improper use.
• The device is not suitable for anesthesia and pulmonary ventilation.
• The device must be used only with its original accessories as listed in the user manual.
• Do not use the device if you deem it damaged or if you notice any anomaly.
• Never open the device.
• This device has been manufactured using sensitive components and it must be handeled
with care.
• Please follow the storage and operation instructions detailed in the "Technical Specications"
chapter.
• Make sure to safeguard the product from:
- water and humidity
- extreme temperature
- impacts and falls
- contamination and dust
- direct sunlight
- heat and cold
• Use this device only with the medicines prescribed by the physician and follow dosing,
duration and frequency instructions for the prescribed therapy.
• Do not bend the nebulizer beyond 45°.
• Do not use the device close to strong magnetic elds such as cellular phones and radio
installations.
• Keep a minimum distance of 3.3 m from other equipments when using this device.
• Store the device and its accessories in a clean place.
• Do not use and store this device if smoke or gas is present.
• Do not use any medicines left in the nebulizer. Always use a fresh new dose.
• Do not use this product on anesthesia or pulmonary ventilation circuits.
Children must always use this device under adult supervision. Some parts are small
and may represent a chocking hazard if swallowed. Cables and tubes may represent a
chocking hazard.
Electronic devices must be disposed of according to local regulations and not as
ordinary household waste.
The use of this device does not replace the medical advice of a physician.

When using the device for the rst time, make sure to clean all parts as descibed in the section
"Cleaning and Desinfection".
1. Open the nebulizer (9) and pour in the amount of medicine as prescribed by the physician.
Make sure not to pass the maximum level mark (Pic. 2/A).
2. Choose the most suitable inhalation accessory, as prescribed by the physician (Pic. 2/B).
3. Connect the nebulizer to the compressor using the air tube (Pic. 2/C) and plug in the power
cord in an electric outlet making sure that the supply voltage is in compliance with what is
stated in this manual or the device nameplate.
4. Press the ON/OFF (2) button to turn on the device. Place the mouthpiece in the mouth (8),
let the nose piece rest (10) under the nostrils or the mask (6 or 7) on the face making sure
to cover mouth and nose.
5. Sit in a relaxed position with the upper body straight.
 
6. After having completed the therapy session as recommended by the physician, press the
ON/OFF (2) button to turn o the device and unplug the power cord from the electric outlet.
7. Make sure that the air tube contains no condensation. In case of condensation, switch on
the device to dry up any moisture in the tube and then disconnect it as described above.
8. Empty out the remaining medicine from the nebulizer and clean the device in all of its
parts, as described in the section “Cleaning and Disinfection”.
This device has been designed to work 20 min. ON / 40 min. OFF.
Do not cover the device with a cloth, towel or anything else when in operation to avoid
overheating or malfunction of the device.

Carefully clean all parts and remove any medicine residues and possible impurities after each
treatment. The compressor (1) and the air tube (11) must be wiped clean with a clean damp cloth.
Always wash hands thoroughly before cleaning and disinfecting the accessories.
Wash/sterilize every part of the nebulizer.
Do not expose the compressor to water or heat.
Replace the air tube when passing to a new patient or in case of impurities.
 
 



• Clean all of the device’s parts () under hot running water for about
5 minutes, adding, a small amount of neutral detergent if necessary, following the dosage
and limits specied by the detergent manufacturer.
• Rinse thoroughly, taking care to remove all residues, then leave to dry.

• All parts () can be disinfected with chemical disinfectants, using
doses and limits as specied by the manufacturer of the disinfectant.
• Disinfectants are generally available from pharmacies.

• All of the components () can be steam-sterilized up
to a temperature of 100°C (15-20 min.).
• After sterilizing, always leave the components to cool down to ambient temperature
before using again.
Do not repeat the sterilization cycle when the components are still hot.

• All of the components () can be immersed in boiling
water for no longer than 1 minute.

Boil the components in plenty of water.
Disassemble all components of the nebulizer and boil them separately.

• It is recommended to replace the nebulizer, mouthpiece, nose piece and masks after 1 year
of use.
• Do not dry the nebulizer in the oven or with a hairdryer or its components may be damaged.
• Always check that the lter is clean and replace it immediately if dirty or after a maximum
of 60 days of use. Spare lters are provided with the device.
• To replace the lter (14), remove the lter cover from its seat.
• Remove the used air lter and insert the new lter. Reposition the lter cover in its seat.
• Do not use the device without a lter installed. Use only original lters.
• Do not wash the lter. If the lter is wet, replace it. If the lter is damp it may cause the
device to stop operating.
• Wash the lter cover regularly (do not boil it) then dry it carefully before repositioning it in
its seat.
Never open the compressor compartment.
Repairs must be performed exclusively by specialized personnel.


• Make sure that the plug is well inside the wall socket.
• Make sure to have pressed the ON/OFF (2) button.
• Make sure that the device is operating with in the limits established in this instruction
manual (20 min. ON / 40 min. OFF).

• Make sure that the air tube (11) is correctly connected at both ends.
• Make sure the air tube is not squashed, bent, soiled or blocked. If necessary, replace
with a new one.
• Make sure the nebulizer is completely assembled (13) and ensure the components are
correctly assembled.

• Make sure the medicine has been poured into the nebulizer.
• Make sure the lter is clean and the lter cover is positioned correctly.

• Make sure to have inserted the lter correctly in its seat (14).
 

This device has a  warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty is valid only with
the original purchase receipt.
• The 3-year warranty is valid only for the compressor.
• Opening or tampering with the device voids the warranty.
• The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, accidents or failure to
abide by the instructions for use.

Dit product is ontworpen voor het inhaleren van geneesmiddelen voor de behandeling van
luchtwegaandoeningen.

• Gecerticeerde medische professionals (artsen, verpleegkundigen en therapeuten).
• Patiënten in hun thuisomgeving met thuiszorgondersteuning voor behandeling onder
leiding van een gekwaliceerde arts.
De gebruiker moet de algemene werking van het apparaat en de inhoud van de
gebruiks aanwijzing begrijpen.
Het is verboden het apparaat te gebruiken bij patiënten die bewusteloos zijn of niet
zelfstandig kunnen ademen.

Mensen die last hebben van aandoeningen van de luchtwegen en die inhalatiemedicatie
nodig hebben. Geschikt voor zowel pediatrisch als volwassen gebruik.

Dit product is ontworpen voor thuisgebruik, maar ook voor medische klinieken en zieken-
huis gebruik.

De minimale levensduur wordt hieronder vermeld en is gebaseerd op de aanname dat het
product wordt gebruikt voor het vernevelen van een zoutoplossing (2 ml) tweemaal per dag,
7.5 min per keer, bij een omgevingstemperatuur van 23°C.
De levensduur kan variëren, afhankelijk van de gebruiksomgeving.
• Compressor (hoofdeenheid): 3 jaar
• Vernevelaar - luchtslang - mondstuk - neusstuk - masker voor kinderen - masker voor
volwassenen: 1 jaar. Frequent productgebruik kan de verwachte levensduur verkorten.

• Volg de gebruiksaanwijzing. Deze handleiding bevat belangrijke informatie over de werking
en veiligheid van dit apparaat. Lees de instructies aandachtig door voordat u het apparaat
gebruikt en bewaar ze bij de hand voor toekomstig gebruik.
• Dit apparaat mag uitsluitend worden gebruikt zoals beschreven in deze handleiding. De
fabrikant is niet aansprakelijk voor schade veroorzaakt door oneigenlijk gebruik.
• Het apparaat is niet geschikt voor anesthesie en longventilatie.
• Het apparaat mag alleen worden gebruikt met de originele accessoires zoals vermeld in de
gebruikershandleiding.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet als u meent dat het beschadigd is of als u een afwijking opmerkt.
• Open het apparaat nooit.
• Dit apparaat is vervaardigd met gebruikmaking van gevoelige onderdelen en moet met
zorg worden behandeld.
• Volg a.u.b. de instructies voor gebruik en gebruik die worden beschreven in het hoofdstuk
“Technische specicaties”.
• Zorg ervoor dat het product wordt beschermd tegen:
- water en vochtigheid
- extreme temperatuur
- stoten en vallen
- vervuiling en stof
- direct zonlicht
- warmte en koude
• Gebruik dit apparaat alleen met de medicijnen die door de arts zijn voorgeschreven en volg
de instructies voor dosering, duur en frequentie van de voorgeschreven therapie.
• Buig de vernevelaar niet verder dan 45°.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet in de buurt van sterke magnetische velden zoals mobiele
telefoons en radio-installaties.
• Houd bij het gebruik van dit apparaat een minimale afstand van 3,3 m van andere appara-
tuur aan.
• Bewaar het apparaat en de accessoires op een schone plaats.
• Gebruik en bewaar dit apparaat niet als er rook of gas aanwezig is.
• Gebruik geen medicijnen die nog in de vernevelaar zitten. Gebruik altijd een verse nieuwe
dosis.
• Gebruik dit product niet op anesthesie- of longventilatiecircuits.

Kinderen moeten dit apparaat altijd onder toezicht van een volwassene gebruiken.
Sommige onderdelen zijn klein en kunnen bij inslikken verstikkingsgevaar opleveren.
Kabels en buizen kunnen verstikkingsgevaar opleveren.
Elektronische apparaten moeten worden weggegooid in overeenstemming met de
lokale regelgeving en niet als gewoon huishoudelijk afval.
Het gebruik van dit apparaat is geen vervanging voor het medisch advies van een arts.

Als u het apparaat voor de eerste keer gebruikt, zorg er dan voor dat u alle onderdelen reinigt
zoals beschreven in de sectie “Reiniging en desinfectie”.
1. Open de vernevelaar (9) en giet er de hoeveelheid medicijn in zoals voorgeschreven door de
arts. Zorg ervoor dat u de markering voor het maximumniveau niet overschrijdt (Afb. 2/A).
2. Kies het meest geschikte inhalatieaccessoire, zoals voorgeschreven door de arts (Afb. 2/B).
3. Sluit de vernevelaar aan op de compressor met behulp van de luchtslang (Afb. 2/C), steek
het netsnoer in een stopcontact en zorg ervoor dat de voedingsspanning overeenkomt
met wat in deze handleiding of op het naamplaatje van het apparaat staat vermeld .
4. Druk op de AAN/UIT-knop (2) om het apparaat in te schakelen. Plaats het mondstuk in de
mond (8), laat het neusstuk (10) onder de neusgaten rusten of plaats het masker (6 of 7) op
het gezicht en zorg ervoor dat mond en neus worden bedekt.
5. Ga ontspannen zitten met het bovenlichaam gestrekt.

6. Nadat u de therapiesessie hebt voltooid zoals aanbevolen door de arts, drukt u op de AAN/
UIT-knop (2) om het apparaat uit te schakelen en haalt u de stekker uit het stop contact.
7. Zorg ervoor dat de luchtslang geen condens bevat. Schakel in geval van condensatie het
apparaat in om eventueel vocht in de slang op te laten drogen en koppel het vervolgens los
zoals hierboven beschreven.
8. Leeg het resterende geneesmiddel uit de vernevelaar en reinig alle onderdelen, zoals be-
schreven in de sectie “Reiniging en desinfectie”.
Dit apparaat is ontworpen om 20 minuten te werken. AAN / 40min. UIT.
Bedek het apparaat tijdens gebruik niet met een doek, handdoek of iets anders om over-
verhitting of storing van het apparaat te voorkomen.

Maak na elke behandeling alle onderdelen zorgvuldig schoon en verwijder eventuele medicijn-
resten en eventuele onzuiverheden. De compressor (1) en de luchtslang (11) moeten worden
schoongeveegd met een schone, vochtige doek.
Was altijd uw handen grondig voordat u de accessoires reinigt en desinfecteert.
Was/steriliseer elk onderdeel van de vernevelaar.
Stel de compressor niet bloot aan water of hitte.
Vervang de luchtslang bij het doorgeven aan een nieuwe patiënt of bij onzuiverheden.
 
             

    


• Reinig alle onderdelen van het apparaatongeveer 5 min onder
heet stromend water, voeg zo nodig een kleine hoeveelheid neutraal wasmiddel toe,
volgens de dosering en limieten gespeciceerd door de wasmiddelfabrikant.
• Goed uitspoelen, alle resten verwijderen en laten drogen.

• Alle onderdelen  kunnen worden gedesinfecteerd met chemische
desinfectiemiddelen, doseringen en limieten zoals gespeciceerd door de fabrikant van
het desinfectiemiddel.
• Ontsmettingsmiddelen zijn over het algemeen verkrijgbaar bij apotheken.

• Alle componenten    kunnen met stoom worden
gesteriliseerd tot max temperatuur van 100°C (15-20 min.).
• Laat de componenten na sterilisatie altijd afkoelen tot omgevingstemperatuur voor ze
opnieuw te gebruiken.
Herhaal de sterilisatiecyclus niet als de componenten nog heet zijn.

• Alle componenten kunnen worden ondergedom-
peld in kokend water, water niet langer dan 1 minuut.
Kook de componenten in ruim water.
Demonteer alle onderdelen van de vernevelaar en kook ze apart.

• Het wordt aanbevolen om de vernevelaar, het mondstuk, het neusstuk en de maskers na
1 jaar gebruik te vervangen.
• Droog de vernevelaar niet in de oven of met een haardroger, anders kunnen de onderdelen
beschadigd raken.
• Controleer altijd of het lter schoon is en vervang het onmiddellijk als het vuil is of na maxi-
maal 60 dagen van gebruik. Reservelters worden bij het apparaat geleverd.
• Om de lter (14) te vervangen, verwijdert u het lterdeksel van zijn zitting.
• Verwijder de gebruikte luchtlter en plaats de nieuwe lter. Plaats het lterdeksel terug op
zijn plaats.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet zonder dat er een lter is geïnstalleerd. Gebruik alleen originele
lters.
• Was de lter niet. Vervang de lter als het nat is. Als de lter vochtig is, kan het apparaat
stoppen met werken.
• Was het lterdeksel regelmatig (niet koken) en droog het vervolgens zorgvuldig af voordat
u het weer op zijn plaats zet.
Open nooit het compressorcompartiment.
Reparaties mogen uitsluitend worden uitgevoerd door gespecialiseerd personeel.


• Zorg ervoor dat de stekker goed in het stopcontact zit.
• Zorg ervoor dat u op de AAN/UIT-knop (2) hebt gedrukt.
• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat werkt binnen de limieten die zijn vastgelegd in deze
hand leiding (20 min. AAN / 40 minuten UIT).

• Zorg ervoor dat de luchtslang (11) aan beide uiteinden correct is aangesloten.
• Zorg ervoor dat de luchtslang niet geplet, gebogen, vuil of verstopt is. Vervang indien
nodig door een nieuwe.
• Zorg ervoor dat de vernevelaar volledig is gemonteerd (13) en zorg ervoor dat de com-
po nenten correct zijn geassembleerd.
• Zorg ervoor dat het geneesmiddel in de vernevelaar is gegoten.
• Zorg ervoor dat het lter schoon is en dat het lterdeksel correct is geplaatst.

• Zorg ervoor dat u de lter correct in zijn zitting (14) hebt geplaatst.
 

Dit apparaat heeft een garantie van  vanaf de aankoopdatum. De garantie is alleen
geldig met de originele aankoopbon.
• De garantie van 3 jaar is alleen geldig voor de compressor.
• Door het openen van of knoeien met het apparaat vervalt de garantie.
• De garantie dekt geen schade veroorzaakt door oneigenlijk gebruik, ongelukken of het
niet naleven van de gebruiksaanwijzing.
