Powering on
Press and hold the measurement/settings button for 2 seconds to turn the tape measure
on.
Measuring
•Press the measurement/settings button to take a measurement.
•Press and hold the measurement/settings button to take a continuous
measurement.
Changing the measurement method
•Press the measurement method button once to be able to measure area.
•Press the measurement method button twice to be able to measure volume.
•Press the measurement method button three times to be able to measure using
Pythagoras theorem.
Regarding the area, volume, and Pythagorean measurements, the order of the respective
sides that need to be measured will be shown flashing on the display.

OPERATION

Changing the units
The default measuring unit is metres (m). Other options include inches (in) and feet (ft).
Press and hold the unit/end button to change the measuring unit.
Changing the end that represents ‘0’ when measuring
To change which end represents ‘0’, press the unit/end button.
•When there is no indicator on the display (as shown with arrow 1 below), the end of
the tape measure represents ‘0’.
•When there is a bar indicator on this display (as shown with arrow 2 below), the front
of the tape measure represents ‘0’.
Settings
1. Press and hold the measurement/settings button for 5 seconds. The display will
show ‘Boot’.
2.Press and hold the measurement/settings button for 2 seconds to enter the offset
settings. The display will show ‘CAL.0’. To adjust the offset of the tape measure,
repeatedly press the measurement/settings button. The offset can be adjusted
between –7mm to 7mm. This will be reflected on this display as shown below.
Press and hold the measurement/settings button for 2 seconds to confirm the
desired offset setting.

3.The display will then show the sound settings (as shown with arrow 1 below). This
refers to whether the tape measure makes a beeping sound every time it takes a
measurement.
Press the measurement/settings button to toggle the sound on/off. Press and hold
the measurement/settings button for 2 seconds to confirm the sound settings.
4.This display will then show the backlight settings (as shown with arrow 2 below). This
triggers whether the backlight on the display is turned on/off.
Press the measurement/settings button to toggle the backlight on/off. Press and
hold the measurement/settings button for 2 seconds to confirm the backlight
settings.
Clearing data and powering off
•Press the power button to clear the measurement data. This may be useful if you
need to remeasure a distance using area, volume, or Pythagoras theorem.
•To turn the tape measure off, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds.
Charging
1. Plug one end of the USB Type-C charging cable into the charging port.
2.Plug the other end into a power adapter (not supplied), then plug the power adapter
into a socket.
3.Turn on the power to charge.

Clip
The tape measure can be slid and secured onto the clip.
The clip can also be passed through a belt or strap.
