You know these squat stands are designed to handle serious weight 1200lbs. It’s probably one of
the reasons you bought them. Maxing out these stands requires special precautions. We strongly
recommend loading the plate horns to weight the stand when going over 400lbs and sandbagging
the front of the stands when crossing the 800lb mark. Beyond that, best practice is to bolt these
things to the floor. Failure to adhere to these recommendations can lead to some very, very
baddays.
