The Pl g-In Light Control is designed to operate lights
according to the rating chart shown. Please read the
instr ctions and power limitations caref lly to ens re proper se
and maxim m safety. NOT recommended for se with toasters,
coffee pots, florescent or halogen lighting systems.
This Light Control can be operated by Models 700, 800 and
900 Chamberlain Series portable remote controls and Keyless
Entries. In addition it is also compatible with Clicker Models
CLT1 and CLK1. Please refer to the Clicker owner’s man al
incl ded with these prod cts for programming instr ctions.
• For Clicker CLT1:
See the “Chamberlain” brand section, Type A programming.
• For Clicker CLK1:
See Section 3, systems with a Smart-Learn b tton.
The Plug-In Light Control receiver need to learn the
remote control code. Follow the in truction below:
• Pl g the light control into a 120Vac polarized o tlet. The
pl g contacts are designed for polarized o tlets only.
• Press and release the “learn” b tton on
the Pl g-In Light Control with a pen or
pencil tip. The learn indicator light will
glow steadily for 30 seconds.
• Within 30 seconds, press and hold the
b tton on the hand-held remote.
• Release the remote control p sh b tton. Code setting is now
complete.
The remote control p sh b tton m st be held down ntil the
receiver indicator light flashes for the light control to learn the
remote control's code.
ERASING CODES
If the receiver LEARN b tton is pressed and held ntil the
yellow indicator light alongside goes o t (in abo t 6 seconds), all
memorized codes will be erased.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
If two or more pl g-in light controls are installed, they m st be
located at least 10 feet apart to prevent electronic interference.
• First, pl g the lamp into a wall o tlet and t rn it ON.
• With the lamp still in the ON position, pl g it into polarized
o tlet on the light control. Pl g the Light Control into a 120Vac
polarized o tlet. The b lb will not light.
• TO TEST: Press and release the light control act ator. The
light sho ld t rn ON. Press the remote control p sh b tton.
The light sho ld t rn OFF.
If the remote control does not activate the light, check to be s re:
• Yo are pressing the remote control p sh b tton selected to
operate the light control.
• The remote control battery has power. Refer to the remote
control instr ctions for battery changing information.

La commande d’éclairage enfichable est conç e po r faire fonctionner des
appareils d’éclairage, conformément a x caractéristiq es nominales indiq ées
ci-desso s. Ve illez lire attentivement les instr ctions et vérifier les limites de
p issance permises po r vo s ass rer q e la commande fonctionne
correctement et de façon séc ritaire. N’est PAS recommandée po r être
tilisée avec les toaste rs, les cafetières, les systèmes d’éclairage fl orescent
o à halogène.
Les commandes d’éclairage pe vent être actionnées par les télécommandes
modèles séries 700, 800 et 900 Chamberlain. De pl s, il est également
compatible avec les Clickers CLT1 et CLK1. Ve illez cons lter le man el de
l' tilisate r d Clicker incl avec ces prod its po r les instr ctions de
programmation.
• Po r le Clicker CLT1:
Voyez la programmation de type A dans la section po r la marq e
"Chamberlain".
• Po r le Clicker CLK1:
Voyez la Section 3 concernant les systèmes avec n bo ton "Smart-Learn".
Le code de la télécommande doit être réglé ur le
récepteur de la commande d’éclairage enfichable. Pour
ce faire, uivez le in truction donnée ci-de ou :
• Branchez la commande d’éclairage s r ne prise de
co rant alternatif 120 V correctement polarisée. Les
contacts de la fiche sont conç s de façon à ne po voir être
branchés q e s r ne prise polarisée.
• Enfoncer, p is relâcher, le bo ton d’« apprentissage » s r la commande
d’éclairage enfichable avec la pointe d’ n stylo o d’ n crayon. Le voyant
indicate r d’apprentissage s’all me en contin pendant 30 secondes.
• Dans n délai de 30 secondes, enfoncer le bo ton de la télécommande
man elle et le maintenir enfoncé.
• Relâchez le bo ton de la télécommande. Le réglage d code est
maintenant terminé.
Po r q e le code soit accepté par la commande d’éclairage, il fa t q e le
bo ton de la télécommande reste enfoncé j sq ’à ce q e le témoin d
récepte r clignote.
EFFACEMENT DES CODES
To s les codes mémorisés seront effacés si le bo ton “LEARN” d récepte r
est mainten enfoncé j sq ’à ce q e le témoin ja ne adjacent s’éteigne (il
fa t environ 6 secondes).
MODE D’EMPLOI
Si de x commandes d’éclairage enfichables o pl s sont installées, elles
doivent être sit ées à ne distance d’a moins 3 mètres (10 pieds) po r
éviter les interférences électroniq es.
• En premier lie , branchez la lampe s r ne prise m rale et
ALLUMEZ-LA.
• To t en laissant l’interr pte r de la lampe à ON, débranchez le fil de la
lampe et branchez-le s r la prise polarisée de la commande d’éclairage.
Brancher la commande d’éclairage s r ne prise polarisée de 120 V
alternatifs. L’ampo le ne s’all mera pas.
• POUR VÉRIFIER: Enfoncez et relâchez la commande-po ssoir de la
commande d’éclairage. La lampe devrait S’ALLUMER. App yez s r le
bo ton de la télécommandé. La lampe devrait S’ÉTEINDRE.
Si le signal de la télécommande ne fait pas all mer la lampe, vérifiez:
• Si vo s app yez bien s r le bo ton d’émette r q i a été choisi po r faire
fonctionner la lampe.
• Si la pile de la télécommande est chargée. Cons ltez les instr ctions
relatives à la télécommande po r connaître la façcon de changer la pile.

Debe mantenerse oprimido el botón de control remoto hasta q e centellee la

ELIMINACION DE CODIGOS
Si se oprime y mantiene oprimido el botón de LEARN hasta q e se apag e
la l z amarilla indicadora lateral (en 6 seg ndos aproximadamente), todos
los códigos memorizados se eliminan.
INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACION
Si se instalan dos o más controles de l z de ench fe, los mismos deben
estar bicados separados por 10 pies por lo menos para prevenir la
interferencia electrónica.
• Primero, ench fe la lámpara a n tomacorrientes de pared y ENCIENDA.
• Con la lámpara todavía en la posición ON, ench fe en n ench fe
polarizado en el control de l z. Ench fe el control de l z en n ench fe
polarizado de 120Vca. La lámpara no se il mina.
• PARA PROBAR: Oprima y s elte el act ador de control de l z. La l z debe
ENCENDERSE. Oprima el botón de control remoto. La l z debe
APAGARSE.
Inspeccione para aseg rarse, si el control remoto no activa la l z:
• Q e sted presiona el botón de control remoto seleccionado para
operar el control de l z.
• Q e la pila de control remoto tiene potencia. Para información acerca de
cambio de la pila, refiérase a las instr cciones de control remoto.
