The application of moist heat is a commonly prescribed therapy in medical practice today. Moist heat is especially useful in treat-
ing pain related to muscle strain and tension which results in muscle spasm.
Theratherm Moist Heating Pad’s high-grade intensive ceramics generates far-infrared to penetrate deep into the body for better
physical therapy.
The LCD display performs multiple functions, to set-up temperature and time, but also to lock the display in order to avoid any
accidental button pressing.
A warning signal will be displayed on the screen if the product malfunctions.
The heating pad is intended for physiotherapy, so EN IEC 60601-2-35 is not applicable.
For normal treatment, 15 minutes on a cycle is sufficient. We recommend a total treatment duration of about 30 minutes.

1. Fit the heating pad into the cotton cover sheet. NOTE: Always make sure
a clean cotton cover sheet is on the heating pad.
2. Plug into the outlet of 90-130V (40-70 Hz)
3. After making sure that the skin is free from dirt and sweat, place the pad
on the area of the body that you wish to treat.
4. Press the “ON/OFF” button “beep” sounds means power ON. The LCD
will be displayed full segment (P. 1 ) and the ambient temperature and
last-setting time will light up in the indicator panel (P. 2 ).
5. Press the temp“ “ button to select the temperature. (P.3).
6. Press the time “ “ button to select the time. (P.4).
7. Press the “ “ button to increase or decrease values.
8. Continue to press in order to sustain increasing or decreasing of
parameter. Range: temperature : 45-75°C, time : 1-60 min.

13. When you press “ “ button the time figure will be flashing, you
set the number by“ “ buttons.
14. After treatment completed, press the“ON/OFF”button to switch
power OFF. (It will be turned off automatically when the time is up).
·After you have finished your treatment, unplug from the outlet.

Product Specifications
1. Check skin under pad frequently to avoid burning and blistering.
2. Unplug when not in use.
3. For normal treatment, do not use the pad over 30 minutes at high temperature 46-75°C / 114-166°F settings.
4. Display board should not be crushed or rammed.
5. Do not use while sleeping. Do not sit on or crush pad. Do not wet.

7. This pad is not to be used on or by an invalid, sleeping or unconscious person or a person with poor blood

DJO, LLC (“Company”) warrants that the Theratherm Moist Heating Pad (“Product”) is free of defects in material and workmanship. This warranty shall remain in effect
for one year (12 months) from the date of original consumer purchase. If this Product fails to function during the one year warranty period due to a defect in material or
workmanship, Company or the selling dealer will repair or replace this Product without charge within a period of thirty (30) days from the date on which the Product is
returned to the Company or the dealer. All repairs to the Product must be performed by a service center authorized by the Company. Any modifications or repairs performed
by unauthorized centers or groups will void this warranty.
This Warranty Does Not Cover:
· Replacement parts or labor furnished by anyone other than the Company, the selling dealer or a certified Company service technician.
· Defects or damage caused by labor furnished by someone other than Company, the selling dealer or a certified Company service technician.
· Any malfunction or failure in the Product caused by product misuse, including, but not limited to, the failure to provide reasonable and required maintenance or any use
that is inconsistent with the Product User Manual.

La aplicación de calor húmedo es una terapia prescrita actualmente con frecuencia en la práctica médica. El calor húmedo es
especialmente útil en el tratamiento del dolor relacionado con el esguince y la tensión musculares que genera espasmo muscular.
La cerámica intensiva de alto grado de la almohadilla de calor húmedo Theratherm genera infrarrojos lejanos para que penetren
profundamente en el cuerpo para lograr una mejor terapia física.
La pantalla LCD desempeña múltiples funciones, como ajustar la temperatura y el tiempo, pero también bloquear la pantalla y
evitar que se oprima accidentalmente un botón.
En la pantalla aparecerá una señal de aviso si el producto funciona incorrectamente.
La almohadilla térmica está diseñada para fisioterapia, por lo que la norma EN IEC 60601-2-35 no es aplicable.
Para un tratamiento normal, basta con un ciclo de 15 minutos. Recomendamos una duración total del tratamiento de aproximada-
mente 30 minutos.

1. Compruebe la piel debajo de la almohadilla con frecuencia para evitar quemaduras y ampollas.
2. Desenchúfelo cuando no lo utilice.
3. Para un tratamiento normal, no utilice la almohadilla durante más de 30 minutos a alta temperatura 46-75 °C / 114-166 °F.
4. No se debe aplastar o golpear la pantalla.
5. No lo utilice mientras duerme. No se siente sobre la almohadilla ni la aplaste. No la moje.
6. No la use con un bebé.
7. Esta almohadilla no debe ser utilizada en o por una persona inválida, dormida o inconsciente, o una persona con mala
circulación sanguínea, a menos que esté cuidadosamente atendida; compruebe frecuentemente la piel debajo de la
almohadilla.
8. No la utilice sobre zonas de piel sin sensibilidad.
9. No utilice nunca la almohadilla sin colocarle la funda.
10. Examine cuidadosamente la cubierta interior antes de usarla; deseche la almohadilla si la cubierta interior presenta signos de
deterioro.
11. No utilice alfileres u otros medios metálicos para fijar la almohadilla.
12. No tire nunca de la almohadilla por el cable de toma de corriente y no utilice el cable como asa.

DJO, LLC (la “Compañía”), garantiza que la almohadilla térmica Theratherm (el“Producto”) carece de defectos de material o mano de obra. Esta garantía permanecerá vigente durante un año (12
meses) a partir de la fecha original de compra por el consumidor. Si el producto deja de funcionar durante el período de garantía de un año debido a un defecto de material o mano de obra, la
Compañía o el distribuidor repararán o reemplazarán este Producto sin cargo alguno, en un plazo no mayor a treinta (30) días a partir de la fecha en que el Producto se devuelva a la Compañía o
al distribuidor. Todas las reparaciones del Producto deben realizarse en un centro de servicio autorizado por la Compañía. Cualquier modificación o reparación realizada por centros o grupos no
autorizados invalidará la garantía.
Esta garantía no cubre:
· Piezas de repuesto o mano de obra suministradas por terceros ajenos a la Compañía, al distribuidor o a una persona que no sea un técnico certificado por la Compañía.
· Defectos o daños causados por la mano de obra realizada por cualquier persona que no pertenezca a la Compañía, el distribuidor, o un técnico certificado por la Compañía.
· Todo funcionamiento defectuoso o fallo del Producto causado por el uso indebido, incluyendo, pero sin limitación, la falta de un mantenimiento razonable y necesario, o todo uso
incompatible con el Manual del usuario del Producto.
LA COMPAÑÍA NO SERÁ RESPONSABLE EN NINGÚN CASO POR DAÑOS INCIDENTALES O CONSECUENTES.
Algunos estados no permiten la exclusión o limitación de daños incidentales o consecuentes, por lo que es posible que la limitación o exclusión anterior no sea aplicable en su caso.
Para obtener servicio de la Compañía o del distribuidor en virtud de esta garantía:
1. Debe enviarse una reclamación por escrito, dentro del período de garantía, a la Compañía o al distribuidor. Las reclamaciones por escrito a la Compañía deben enviarse a:

2. El propietario debe devolver el producto a la Compañía o al distribuidor junto con una copia del recibo de compra.
Esta garantía le otorga derechos legales específicos; es posible además que a usted le correspondan otros derechos que varían de un lugar a otro. La Compañía no autoriza a ninguna persona ni
representante a crear en su nombre ninguna otra obligación o responsabilidad en relación con la venta del Producto. Cualquier representación o acuerdo que no figure en la garantía será nulo y
carecerá de efecto.
LA GARANTÍA EXPUESTA ANTERIORMENTE REEMPLAZA A CUALQUIER OTRA GARANTÍA, EXPRESA O IMPLÍCITA,
INCLUYENDO CUALQUIER GARANTÍA O GARANTÍA DE COMERCIALIZACIÓN O IDONEIDAD PARA UN FIN PARTICULAR.
