claims can be made within one year from the date of

This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights;
your statutory rights are not affected. This limited
warranty does not apply in cases of damage caused by
accident, improper use, abuse or force majeure.

FUN FACTS
It’s a myth that different tastes are detected on
different regions of our tongues. As you chew, hot
foods cool in your mouth increasing the taste intensity.
The taste receptors on our tongues are most active
when foods are between 86°-95°F.
When it comes to cooking, fat is vital for flavor
perception, mouthfeel and texture. Fat globules contain
flavor-rich molecules and spread them through a
cooked dish. Fats then coat the tongue so flavor lingers
longer on the palate.
Each type of potato has a different sugar profile,
which contributes to contrasting flavors, and different
cooking requirements. Certain white and red potatoes
are very high in starch and aren't suited for making
mashed potatoes. Many chefs agree that Russet, Yukon
Gold and Katahdin potatoes are best for mashing.
They have the densest flesh of any potato variety and
when cooked, aren't watery or mushy. Once mashed,
the results are light, fluffy spuds that are equal parts
starchy and rich. Plus they inherently have a buttery
flavor, and who doesn't love that?
Only have white or red potatoes to mash? Bake them
in the oven first, rather than boiling them, for better
results.

avocado, great choice! This fruit is naturally gluten-free,
dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian and cholesterol-free.

blending avocado and puréeing smoothies to making
whipped cream or blending soup ingredients, we are
confident this blender will be your new go-to appliance.
Use this blender whenever you need to save time food
prepping—you'll find its easy operation and power is
much faster than whisking ingredients by hand. Plus it's
designed to reach deep into bowls, pots and pitchers
taking versatility to a whole new level!

4. This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
5. Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
6. Avoid contact with moving parts.
7. Never put the blender on or near a burner, in an
oven (regardless of whether it's hot or not) or in a
dishwasher.
8. Do not operate the blender with a damaged cord
or plug, or after it malfunctions. In such cases,
contact Chefman Customer Support.
9. Do not use outdoors or for anything other than
intended use.
WARNING: The mixing blade is SHARP. Handle with
care both when using and cleaning the product.
10. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table
or counter, come into contact with sharp edges
or touch hot surfaces.
11. Do not pull on the power cord to disconnect.
12. Always place the blender on a firm and stable
surface when not in use.
13. The use of attachments not recommended or sold
by Chefman may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

14. Never use abrasive cleaning agents or abrasive
cloths when cleaning the blender
15. Do not use fingers to scrape food away from the
cutting blade while the blender is plugged in.
Serious injury may result.
16. Use the blender only when it is completely
assembled.
17. Before using for the first time, remove all packaging
and wash and dry parts.
18. Save these instructions.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. It may be
plugged into an AC electrical outlet (ordinary household
current). Do not use any other electrical outlet.
This appliance has a Polarized Plug (one blade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this
plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit the outlet perfectly, reverse the plug. If it
should still not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
modify the plug in any way.
SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the
hazards resulting from entanglement or tripping over a
longer cord. Longer detachable power-supply cords or
extension cords are available and may be used if care is
exercised in their use. If a longer detachable
power-supply extension cord is used:
1. The marked electrical rating of the cord set or
extension cord should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of the appliance, and:
2. The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape
over the counter top or tabletop where it can be
pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.

POWER CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it
from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the power cord for cuts
and/or abrasion marks. If any are found, this indicates
that the appliance should be serviced and the power
cord replaced. Please contact Chefman Customer
Support.
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance,
as this could place undue stress on the cord where it
enters the appliance and cause it to fray and break.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE POWER
CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE OR IF APPLIANCE
WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING
ENTIRELY.
CAUTION: To ensure continued protection against risk
of electric shock, connect to properly grounded outlets
only.
IMPORTANT: During the first few minutes of initial use,
you may notice smoke
and/or a slight odor. This is normal and should quickly
disappear. It will not recur after appliance has been
used a few more times.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
USING YOUR HAND BLENDER
The specially designed blade is for mixing and stirring
all kinds of foods, including salad dressings, powdered
drink products and sauces. It is ideal for combining dry
ingredients, and can be used to emulsify mayonnaise,
too. This blade mixes and stirs while adding only a
minimum of air to your mixture. A gentle up-and-down
motion is all you need to make the most flavorful, full-
bodied liquid-based recipes.
NOTE: If a piece of food becomes lodged in the guard
surrounding the blade, follow the safety instructions
below:
1. Press the power button to turn off and unplug the
electrical cord from the wall socket.
2. After the power source is disconnected, use a
spatula to carefully remove the food lodged in the
guard. To avoid injury, do not use your fingers to
remove lodged objects.
3. After the lodged food has been removed you may
plug the electrical cord into the wall socket and
continue blending.
HELPFUL HINTS
1. Cut most solid foods into ½" cubes for easy
blending.
Suggestion: Use the Chefman Food Chopper for
chopping and grinding solid foods.
2. Pour liquid ingredients into a mixing bowl first
unless recipe instructs otherwise.
3. To avoid splashing, do not pull the Hand Blender
out of the mixture while it is running.
4. Do not let the Hand Blender stand in a hot pot on
the stove while not in use.
5. To prevent splashing, don’t turn the Hand Blender
on until the blade is beneath the surface of the
mixture.
6. Do not put fruit pits, bones or other hard foods
into the blending mixture as these are liable to
damage the blades.
7. Do not fill mixing bowls too full. The level of the
mixture will rise when blending and can overflow.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
8. Adding liquids that are warm facilitates blending
solids with liquids.
9. For recipes calling for ice, use crushed ice (not
whole cubes) for best results.
IMPORTANT: UNPLUG BEFORE CLEANING. DO
NOT IMMERSE THE BLENDER MOTOR HOUSING
IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
CLEANING YOUR CHEFMAN HAND BLENDER
1. Always clean your Hand Blender thoroughly
after using.
2. Do not place motor housing in dishwasher. Detach
the shaft from the motor housing by twisting the
shaft clockwise and pulling off. The shaft with the
blades can be cleaned in the dishwasher only on
the top rack, or by hand in warm water with
a mild detergent.
3. Clean the motor housing with a sponge or damp
cloth only. Do not use abrasive cleansers which
could scratch the surface.
NOTE: Never immerse the motor housing in water.
4. Dry thoroughly. Once dry, reattach the shaft to the
motor housing by twisting counter-clockwise to
lock on.
Suggestion: When processing foods with color (like
carrots), the plastic parts of the Hand Blender can
become discolored. Wipe these parts with cooking
oil before cleaning them with a mild detergent.

CHEFMAN® warrants, subject to the conditions stated
below, that from the date of purchase, this product
will be free from mechanical defects for a period of
ONE (1) year. CHEFMAN®, at its option, will repair or
replace this product found to be defective during the
warranty period. Should this product become defective
by reason of improper workmanship or material defect
during the specified warranty period, CHEFMAN® will
repair or replace the same effecting all necessary parts
replacements for a period of one year from the date of
purchase. If product is no longer available we will replace
it with a product of equal value. Transportation charges
on parts, or products in whole, submitted for repair or
replacement, under this warranty, must be borne by the
purchaser. This warranty is void if the product is used for
other than single-family household use or subjected to
any voltage and waveform other than as specified on the
rating label (e.g., 120V ~ 60 Hz).
This warranty is available to consumers only. You are a
consumer if you own a CHEFMAN® product that was
purchased at retail for personal, family or household use.
Except as otherwise required under applicable law, this
warranty is not available to retailers or other commercial
purchasers or owners.
CONDITIONS: This warranty is valid for the original USA
and Canada retail purchaser from the date of initial retail
purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales
receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty
service or replacement. Dealers, service centers, or retail
stores do not have the right to alter, modify or in any
way, change the terms and conditions of this warranty.
Warranty registration is not necessary to obtain warranty
on CHEFMAN® Products. Save your proof of purchase
receipt.
ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT WARRANTY: Most warranty
repairs are handled routinely, but sometimes requests for
warranty service may not be appropriate. For example,
warranty service would NOT apply if the product damage
occurred because of misuse, lack of routine maintenance,
shipping, handling, 3rd party warehousing or improper
installation. Similarly, the warranty is void if the
manufacturing date or the serial number on the product
has been removed or the equipment has been altered
or modified. During the warranty period, the authorized
service dealer, at its option, will repair or replace any part
that, upon examination, is found to be defective under
normal use and service.

NORMAL WEAR: This warranty does not cover normal
wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the
following: negligent use or misuse of the product;
improper voltage or current; use contrary to the operation
instructions; deviation from instructions regarding storage
and transportation; repair or alteration by anyone other
than CHEFMAN® or an authorized service center. Further,
the warranty does not cover Acts of God, such as fire,
flood, hurricanes and tornadoes. CHEFMAN® shall not be
liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused
by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Except
to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied
warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular
purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the
above warranty. Some states, provinces or jurisdictions
do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental of
consequential damages or limitations on how long an
implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion
may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific
legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary
from state to state or province to province.
HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE: If your
CHEFMAN® product should prove to be defective within
the warranty period, we will repair it, or if we think
necessary, replace it. To obtain warranty service, simply

from our Customer Support Representatives, or send the
defective product to Customer Support at Chefman, 200

This warranty is effective for the time periods listed above
and subject to the conditions provided for within this
policy.

CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS ONLY:
California law provides that for In-Warranty Service,
California residents have the option of returning a
nonconforming product (A) to the store where it was
purchased or (B) to another retail store which sells
CHEFMAN® products of the same type. The retail store
shall then, at its discretion, either repair the product, refer
the consumer to an independent repair facility, replace
the product, or refund the purchase price less the amount
directly attributable to the consumer’s prior usage of the
product. If the above two options do not result in the
appropriate relief to the consumer, the consumer may
then take the product to an independent repair facility
if service or repair can be economically accomplished.
CHEFMAN® and not the consumer will be responsible for
the reasonable cost of such service, repair, replacement, or
refund for nonconforming products under warranty.
