How does the LR-180-GTR
splash guard work?
The LR-180-GTR slat cleaner splash
guard consists of a splash guard plate
and two brushes.
The splash guard plate forms the basis
of the splash guard. It is fitted on the
slat cleaner and holds the brushes.
The brushes catch the water that is
thrown out by the rotating brush rollers
of the LR-180-GTR. This keeps the
operator and the immediate working
environment dry.

connection between the LR-180-GTR
and the brushes.
Brush: The brush catches the water
splashed out by the rotation of the

The splash guard is intended for use on
the LR-180-GTR only.
Using the splash guard, especially the
brush, for any other purpose is not
permitted.
Improper and prohibited use
The LR-180-GTR splash guard must not
be modified.
Requirements of the system user
The LR-180-GTR splash guard is for
commercial use.
User: The user must have been given
adequate and appropriate instruction
from the plant operator about the rele-
vant tasks and possible dangers in the
event of improper behaviour. Tasks that
go beyond the scope of the product’s
normal operation may only be carried
out by the user if they are specified in
these instructions and the plant opera-
tor has expressly entrusted the user to
complete them.
Specialist staff: Due to their profession-
al training, expertise, experience and
knowledge of the relevant standards
and regulations, specialist staff are able
to carry out the work assigned to them
and to recognise possible dangers and
avoid hazards themselves.
The following groups of people are not
allowed to operate the LR-180-GTR
splash guard:

physical, sensory or
mental capacity
�Children and young people under
the age of 18
�People who have not received
instruction
