Bevor Sie beginnen…
Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das Gerät ist zum Verformen und Verschweißen von
Kunststoff, zum Entfernen von Farbanstrichen und
zum Erwärmen von Schrumpfschläuchen bestimmt.
Es ist auch zum Lösen von Klebeverbindungen und
zum Auftauen von Wasserleitungen geeignet.
Das Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch
konzipiert. Allgemein anerkannte Unfallverhütungs-
vorschriften und beigelegte Sicherheitshinweise
müssen beachtet werden.
Führen Sie nur Tätigkeiten durch, die in dieser
Gebrauchsanweisung beschrieben sind. Jede
andere Verwendung ist unerlaubter Fehlgebrauch.
Der Hersteller haftet nicht für Schäden die hieraus
entstehen.
Was bedeuten die verwendeten Symbole?
Gefahrenhinweise und Hinweise sind in der
Gebrauchsanweisung deutlich gekennzeichnet. Es
werden folgende Symbole verwendet:

•Für einen sicheren Umgang mit diesem Gerät
muss der Benutzer des Gerätes diese
Gebrauchsanweisung vor der ersten Benutzung
gelesen und verstanden haben.
•Beachten Sie alle Sicherheitshinweise! Wenn Sie
die Sicherheitshinweise missachten, gefährden
Sie sich und andere.
•Bewahren Sie alle Gebrauchsanweisungen und
Sicherheitshinweise für die Zukunft auf.
•Wenn Sie das Gerät verkaufen oder weitergeben,
händigen Sie unbedingt auch diese Gebrauchs-
anweisung aus.
•Das Gerät darf nur benutzt werden, wenn es ein-
wandfrei in Ordnung ist. Ist das Gerät oder ein Teil
davon defekt, muss es außer Betrieb genommen
und fachgerecht entsorgt werden.
•Verwenden Sie das Gerät nicht in explosionsge-
fährdeten Räumen oder in der Nähe von brennba-
ren Flüssigkeiten oder Gasen!
•Ausgeschaltetes Gerät immer gegen unbeabsich-
tigtes Einschalten sichern.
•Benutzen Sie keine Geräte, bei denen der Ein-
Aus-Schalter nicht ordnungsgemäß funktioniert.
•Halten Sie Kinder vom Gerät fern! Bewahren Sie
das Gerät sicher vor Kindern und unbefugten Per-
sonen auf.
•Überlasten Sie das Gerät nicht. Benutzen Sie das
Gerät nur für Zwecke, für die es vorgesehen ist.
•Immer die erforderliche persönliche Schutzaus-
rüstung benutzen.
•Immer mit Umsicht und nur in guter Verfassung
arbeiten: Müdigkeit, Krankheit, Alkoholgenuss,
Medikamenten- und Drogeneinfluss sind unver-
antwortlich, da Sie das Gerät nicht mehr sicher
benutzen können.
•Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Per-
sonen (einschließlich Kinder) mit eingeschränk-
ten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder
Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei denn, sie wer-
den durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zuständige Per-
son beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von dieser
Anweisungen, wie das Gerät zu benutzen ist.

Elektrische Sicherheit
•Das Gerät darf nur an eine Steckdose mit ord-
nungsgemäß installiertem Schutzkontakt ange-
schlossen werden.
•Die Absicherung muss mit einem Fehlerstrom-
Schutzschalter (FI-Schalter) mit einem Bemes-
sungsfehlerstrom von nicht mehr als 30 mA erfol-
gen.

•Vor Anschließen des Gerätes muss sichergestellt
sein, dass der Netzanschluss den Anschlussda-
ten des Gerätes entspricht.
•Das Gerät darf nur innerhalb der angegebenen
Grenzen für Spannung und Leistung verwendet
werden (siehe Typenschild).
•Netzstecker nicht mit nassen Händen anfassen!
Netzstecker immer am Stecker, nicht am Kabel
herausziehen.
•Netzkabel nicht knicken, quetschen, zerren oder
überfahren; vor scharfen Kanten, Öl und Hitze
schützen.
•Gerät nicht am Kabel anheben oder Kabel ander-
weitig zweckentfremden.
•Kontrollieren Sie vor jeder Benutzung Stecker
und Kabel.
•Bei Beschädigung des Netzkabels umgehend
Netzstecker ziehen. Gerät nie mit beschädigtem
Netzkabel benutzen.
•Bei Nichtbenutzung muss immer der Netzstecker
gezogen sein.
•Vor Einstecken des Netzsteckers sicherstellen,
dass das Gerät ausgeschaltet ist.
•Vor Ziehen des Netzsteckers immer Gerät aus-
schalten.
•Gerät beim Transport stromlos schalten.
Gerätespezifische Sicherheitshinweise
•Sorgen Sie für eine ausreichende Belüftung des
Arbeitsplatzes. Entstehende Gase und Dämpfe
können gesundheitsschädlich sein.
•Das Gerät nicht in feuchter Umgebung betreiben
oder feucht werden lassen.
•Unsorgsamer Umgang mit dem Gerät bewirkt
erhöhte Brand- und Explosionsgefahr.
•Bei Bearbeitung von Kunststoffen, Farben,
Lacken und ähnlichen Materialien können ent-
zündliche und giftige Gase entstehen. Nicht in der
Nähe leicht entzündbarer Gase oder Materialien
arbeiten.
•Wärme kann zu brennbaren Teilen gelangen, die
sich außer Sichtweite befinden.
•Gerät nicht für längere Zeit auf ein und dieselbe
Stelle richten.
•Verbrennungsgefahr! Nicht die heiße Düse
berühren. Schutzhandschuhe tragen.
•Heißen Luftstrom nie auf Personen oder Tiere
richten.
•Gerät nie als Haartrockner oder zum Trocknen
von Kleidung verwenden.
•Düse nicht zu nahe an das zu bearbeitende Werk-
stück bringen. Der entstehende Luftstau kann zur
Überhitzung des Gerätes führen.
•Die Lufteintrittsöffnungen nicht blockieren.
•Gerät vor der Aufbewahrung vollständig abkühlen
lassen. Die heiße Düse kann Schaden anrichten
und Brände verursachen.
•Beachten Sie, dass sich die bewegenden Teile
auch hinter Be- und Entlüftungsöffnungen befin-
den können.
•Symbole, die sich an Ihrem Gerät befinden, dür-
fen nicht entfernt oder abgedeckt werden. Nicht
mehr lesbare Hinweise am Gerät müssen umge-
hend ersetzt werden.
Vor Inbetriebnahme Gebrauchsanweisung le-
sen und beachten.
Persönliche Schutzausrüstung
Bei der Arbeit mit dem Gerät schwer ent-
flammbare Schutzhandschuhe (Schutz ge-
gen Wärmequellen) tragen.
Bei der Arbeit mit dem Gerät geeignete Atem-
schutzmaske tragen.

Anwendungsmöglichkeiten
Entfernen von Farbe und Farbresten
– Farbe oder Farbreste auf der zu bearbeitenden
Oberfläche mit Heißluftpistole erhitzen und mit
geeignetem Werkzeug entfernen.
Hinweis: Das tatsächliche Aussehen Ihres
Gerätes kann von den Abbildungen abwei-
chen.
GEFAHR! Lebensgefahr! Wasserleitun-
gen sind oft äußerlich nicht von Gasleitun-
gen zu unterscheiden. Gasleitungen dürfen
keinesfalls erwärmt werden.
WARNUNG! Gesundheitsgefahr durch
aufsteigende Dämpfe! Geeignete Atem-
schutzmaske tragen und für ausreichende
Belüftung des Arbeitsplatzes sorgen.
ACHTUNG! Gefahr von Beschädigun-
gen! Durch übermäßige Wärmezufuhr kann
es zu Beschädigungen am Werkstück kom-
men. Arbeitsprobe an unbedenklicher Stelle
durchführen.

Kleber lösen
– Viele Klebemittel werden durch Wärme weich.
Verbindungen können so getrennt oder über-
schüssiger Kleber entfernt werden.
Weichlöten
– Das Gerät ist für das Punktlöten oder Löten von
Rohren geeignet. Die Schmelztemperatur des
Lots muss dabei unter 400 °C liegen.
Verkleben und Verformen von Kunststoffen
– Kunststoffe durch gleichmäßiges Hin- und Herbe-
wegen erwärmen. Zum Verkleben geeigneten
Heißkleber benutzen.
Trocknen
– Das Gerät kann zum Trocknen von Farbanstri-
chen, Bindemitteln oder Dichtmasse eingesetzt
werden.
Schrumpfen
– Schrumpfschlauch entsprechend dem Werkstück
wählen und gleichmäßig mit der Heißluftpistole
erwärmen.
Auftauen von Wasserleitungen
– Die eingefrorene Stelle immer vom Rand zur Mitte
erwärmen. Kunststoffrohre sowie Verbindungen
zwischen Rohrstücken besonders vorsichtig
erwärmen, um Beschädigungen zu vermeiden.
Aufsatzdüsen
•Die Abstrahldüse (4) schützt durch Umlenken des
Luftstroms beispielsweise Glasscheiben vor
Erhitzung.
•Die Reduzierdüse (5) erzeugt einen punktge-
nauen Luftstrom, der beispielsweise zum Verfor-
men von Kunststoffen genutzt werden kann.
•Die Reflektordüse (6) erzeugt einen flächigen
Luftstrom, der beispielsweise zum Erhitzen gefro-
rener Wasserleitungen eingesetzt werden kann.
Vor dem Einschalten überprüfen!
Überprüfen Sie den sicheren Zustand des Gerätes:
– Überprüfen Sie, ob die Lufteintrittsöffnungen frei
von Blockierungen sind.
– Überprüfen Sie alle Teile auf festen Sitz.
– Prüfen Sie, ob es sichtbare Defekte gibt: gebro-
chene Teile, Risse usw.
Ein-/Ausschalten
– Gewünschte Aufsatzdüse aufstecken.
– Gerät an Stromnetz anschließen.
– Düse auf die zu bearbeitende Oberfläche richten.
– Einschalten: Ein-Aus-Schalter (3) in Position [I]–
[II] stellen.
– Ausschalten: Ein-Aus-Schalter (3) in Position [0]
stellen.
– Sofort nach Beendigung der Arbeit den Netzste-
cker ziehen und das Gerät auf dem Ständer (4)
stehend abkühlen lassen (►S. 4, Punkt 3).
Reinigung und Wartung
Gerät reinigen
Ein sorgfältiger Umgang und eine regelmäßige Reini-
gung stellen sicher, dass das Gerät lange funktions-
tüchtig und leistungsfähig bleibt.
– Gerät mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Tuch abwi-
schen.
– Das Gerät niemals mit Wasser bespritzen oder
dem Wasser aussetzen.
– Zur Reinigung niemals Reinigungs- oder
Lösungsmittel verwenden. Dem Gerät könnten
irreparable Schäden zugefügt werden. Die Kunst-
stoffteile können von den Chemikalien angegrif-
fen werden.
– Lufteintrittsöffnungen und Düse von Verunreini-
gungen und Blockierungen befreien.
Aufbewahrung, Transport
Aufbewahrung
•Gerät vor Einlagerung vollständig abkühlen las-
sen.
•Lagern Sie das Gerät an einem trockenen Ort.
Transport
•Beim Versand nach Möglichkeit die Originalver-
packung verwenden.
Störungen und Hilfe
Wenn etwas nicht funktioniert…
WARNUNG! Verletzungsgefahr! Das Aus-
wechseln der Düse darf nur nach Stromab-
schaltung am vollständig erkalteten Gerät
vorgenommen werden.
GEFAHR! Verletzungsgefahr! Das Gerät
darf nur in Betrieb genommen werden,
wenn keine Fehler gefunden werden. Ist ein
Teil defekt, muss es unbedingt vor dem
nächsten Gebrauch ersetzt werden.
ACHTUNG! Gefahr von Geräteschäden!
Immer einen Mindesabstand von 25 mm
zwischen Düse und zu bearbeitender Ober-
fläche einhalten.
ACHTUNG! Gefahr von Geräteschäden!
Das Gerät niemals mit den Lufteintrittsöff-
nungen nach unten gerichtet benutzen. Ver-
schmutzte Luft kann eingesaugt werden.
ACHTUNG! Gefahr von Geräteschäden!
Das Gerät muss immer mit einer der Auf-
satzdüsen benutzt werden.
GEFAHR! Verletzungsgefahr!
GEFAHR! Verletzungsgefahr! Vor allen
Reinigungs- und Wartungsarbeiten Gerät
ausschalten und den Netzstecker ziehen.
Warten, bis alle beweglichen Teile vollstän-
dig zum Stillstand gekommen sind und das
Gerät abgekühlt ist.
GEFAHR! Verletzungsgefahr! Stellen Sie
sicher, dass unbefugte Personen keinen
Zugang zu dem Gerät haben!
GEFAHR! Verletzungsgefahr! Unsachge-
mäße Reparaturen können dazu führen,
dass Ihr Gerät nicht mehr sicher funktioniert.
Sie gefährden damit sich und Ihre Umge-
bung.

Oft sind es nur kleine Fehler, die zu einer Störung füh-
ren. Meistens können Sie diese leicht selbst behe-
ben. Bitte sehen Sie zuerst in der folgenden Tabelle
nach, bevor Sie sich an den Händler wenden. So
ersparen Sie sich viel Mühe und eventuell auch Kos-
ten.
Können Sie den Fehler nicht selbst beheben, wenden
Sie sich bitte direkt an den Händler. Beachten Sie
bitte, dass durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen auch
der Gewährleistungsanspruch erlischt und Ihnen ggf.
Zusatzkosten entstehen.
Entsorgung
Gerät entsorgen
Das Symbol der durchgestrichenen Müll-
tonne bedeutet: Batterien und Akkus, Elek-
tro- und Elektronikgeräte dürfen nicht in den
Hausmüll. Sie können umwelt- und gesund-
heitsschädigende Stoffe enthalten.
Verbraucher sind verpflichtet, Elektro-Altgeräte,
Gerätealtbatterien und Akkus getrennt vom Hausmüll
über eine offizielle Sammelstelle zu entsorgen um
eine sachgerechte Weiterverarbeitung zu gewähr-
leisten. Informationen zur Rückgabe erhalten Sie bei
Ihrem Verkäufer. Die Rücknahme erfolgt kostenfrei.
Batterien und Akkus, die nicht fest in Elektro-
Altgeräten verbaut sind, müssen vor der Ent-
sorgung entnommen und getrennt entsorgt
werden. Lithiumbatterien und Akkupacks
aller Systeme sind nur im entladenen Zustand bei
den Rücknahmestellen abzugeben. Die Batterien
sind immer durch abkleben der Pole vor Kurzschlüs-
sen zu sichern.
Jeder Endnutzer ist selbst für die Löschung perso-
nenbezogener Daten auf den zu entsorgenden Altge-
räten verantwortlich.
Verpackung entsorgen
Die Verpackung besteht aus Karton und
entsprechend gekennzeichneten Kunststof-
fen, die wiederverwertet werden können.

Utilizzo conforme alla destinazione d’uso
L’apparecchio è destinato alla deformazione e salda-
tura della plastica, alla rimozione di mani di pittura e
al riscaldamento di tubi termorestringenti. L’apparec-
chio è idoneo anche ad allentare le giunture adesive
e a sbrinare le tubature dell’acqua.
Questo apparecchio non è destinato all’uso commer-
ciale. Osservare le norme generali relative alla pre-
venzione degli incidenti e le indicazioni di sicurezza in
dotazione.
Eseguire unicamente le attività descritte nel presente
manuale di istruzioni. Qualsiasi altro impiego verrà
considerato come un utilizzo improprio. Il produttore

•Prima di collegare l’apparecchio alla rete elettrica,
assicurarsi che l’allacciamento di rete coincida
con i dati d’allacciamento.

Indicazioni specifiche sull’apparecchio
•Assicurare una ventilazione sufficiente del luogo
di lavoro. I gas e i vapori prodotti possono essere
nocivi.
•Non utilizzare l’apparecchio in ambienti umidi ed
evitare di inumidire l’apparecchio.
•Un utilizzo inaccurato dell’apparecchio comporta
un aumento del pericolo di incendio e di esplo-
sione.
•Nella lavorazione di materie plastiche, colori, ver-
nici e materiali simili possono prodursi gas infiam-
mabili e tossici. Non lavorare nelle vicinanze di
gas o materiali facilmente infiammabili.
•Il calore può raggiungere delle parti infiammabili
al di fuori del campo visivo.
•Non puntare l’apparecchio a lungo sullo stesso
punto.
•Pericolo di ustioni. Non toccare l’ugello caldo.
Indossare guanti protettivi.
•Non rivolgere mai il flusso d’aria calda verso per-
sone o animali.
•Non utilizzare mai l’apparecchio come asciugaca-
pelli o per l’asciugatura di abiti.
•Non avvicinare troppo l’ugello al pezzo da lavo-
rare. L’accumulo d’aria che ne deriva può portare
al surriscaldamento dell’apparecchio.
•Non bloccare le aperture per l’ingresso dell’aria.
•Prima di riporre l’apparecchio lasciarlo raffred-
dare completamente. L’elevata temperatura
dell’ugello può causare danni e provocare
incendi.
•Si osservi che i componenti mobili possono tro-
varsi anche dietro i fori di ventilazione e scarico.
•Non rimuovere o coprire i simboli riportati
sull’apparecchio. Gli avvisi non più leggibili
sull’apparecchio si devono immediatamente
sostituire.

Possibili applicazioni
Rimozione di colore e residui di colore
– Riscaldare il colore o i residui di colore sulla
superficie da lavorare con la pistola ad aria calda
e rimuoverli con un utensile idoneo.
Nota: L’aspetto reale dell’apparecchio può
essere diverso da quanto riportato nelle illu-
strazioni.

non è possibile distinguere le tubature
dell’acqua dalle condotte del gas esterna-
mente. Le condotte del gas non devono

Scioglimento di colla
– Molti collanti si ammorbidiscono con il calore. In
tal modo è possibile separare i collegamenti o
rimuovere la colla in eccesso.
Saldatura dolce
– L’apparecchio è idoneo alla saldatura a punti o
alla saldatura di tubi. La temperatura di fusione
della lega deve essere inferiore a 400 °C.
Incollaggio e deformazione di materie plastiche
– Riscaldare le materie plastiche avvicinando e
allontanando l’apparecchio uniformemente. Utiliz-
zare una colla a caldo idonea all’incollaggio.
Essiccazione
– L’apparecchio può essere utilizzato per l’essicca-
zione di mani di colore, leganti o mastice.
Restringimento termico
– Scegliere un tubo termorestringente adatto al
pezzo in lavorazione e riscaldarlo uniformemente
con la pistola ad aria calda.
Sbrinamento di tubature dell’acqua
– Riscaldare sempre il punto congelato dal bordo
verso il centro. Riscaldare i tubi in plastica e i col-
legamenti fra tratti di tubo con particolare cautela
per evitare danni.
Ugelli intercambiabili
•L’ugello radiante (4) protegge ad esempio le
lastre di vetro dal riscaldamento deviando il flusso
d’aria.
•L’ugello riduttore (5) genera un flusso d’aria molto
preciso, utile ad esempio alla deformazione di
materie plastiche.
•L’ugello riflettore (6) genera un flusso d’aria
piatto, utile ad esempio per riscaldare le tubature
dell’acqua congelate.
Controllare prima di accendere!
Controllare le condizioni di sicurezza dell’apparec-
chio:
– Controllare che le aperture per l’ingresso dell’aria
siano libere da ostruzioni.
– Assicurarsi che tutti i componenti siano serrati
saldamente.
– Verificare la presenza di guasti visibili: compo-
nenti rotti, incrinature, ecc.
Accensione/spegnimento
– Montare l’ugello intercambiabile desiderato.
– Collegare l’apparecchio alla rete elettrica.
– Rivolgere l’ugello verso la superficie da lavorare.
– Accensione: Portare l’interruttore ON/OFF (3) in
posizione [I]–[II].
– Spegnimento: Portare l’interruttore ON/OFF (3) in
posizione [0].
– Subito dopo aver terminato il lavoro bisogna
estrarre la spina dalla presa e far raffreddare il
dispositivo sul sostegno (4) (►P. 4, punto 3).
Pulizia e manutenzione
Pulizia dell’apparecchio
La cura e la pulizia regolare dell’apparecchio ne assi-
curano una lunga durata e funzionalità.
– Pulire l’apparecchio con uno straccio legger-
mente inumidito.
– Non spruzzare mai l’apparecchio con acqua né
esporlo all’acqua.
– Per la pulizia non utilizzare mai detersivi o sol-
venti. Questi potrebbero danneggiare irreparabil-
mente l’apparecchio. Le parti in materiale sinte-
tico potrebbero essere intaccate dalle sostanze
chimiche.
– Liberare le aperture per l’ingresso dell’aria e
l’ugello da impurità e intasamenti.
Conservazione, trasporto
Conservazione
•Prima di riporre l’apparecchio lasciarlo raffred-
dare completamente.
•Tenere l’apparecchio in luogo asciutto.
Trasporto
•Per le spedizioni utilizzare l’imballaggio originale
se possibile.

sostituzione dell’ugello deve essere fatta
solo con l’apparecchio raffreddato dopo il
distacco dalla corrente.

guasto deve assolutamente essere sostitu-
ito prima dell’uso successivo.

di 25 mm fra ugello e superficie da lavorare.

Guasti ed Assistenza
Se qualcosa non funziona…
Spesso sono solo piccoli difetti che portano a un gua-
sto. Di solito essi possono essere risolti facilmente
dall’utente stesso. Si prega di controllare nella
seguente tabella prima di rivolgersi al rivenditore. In
tal modo si risparmiano molta fatica ed anche even-
tuali spese.
Se non si è in grado di eliminare l’errore da soli, si
prega di rivolgersi direttamente al rivenditore. Le ripa-
razioni inappropriate invalidano la garanzia e pos-
sono causare costi aggiuntivi a suo carico.
Smaltimento
Smaltimento dell’apparecchio
Il simbolo del bidone della spazzatura bar-
rato vuol dire che: batterie e accumulatori,
apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche
non vanno smaltiti nei rifiuti domestici. Que-
sti potrebbero contenere sostanze dannose
per l’ambiente e la salute.
I consumatori hanno l’obbligo di differenziare le appa-
recchiature elettroniche, le batterie vecchie delle
apparecchiature e gli accumulatori dai rifiuti dome-
stici e di smaltirle presso il centro di raccolta ufficiale
per garantire un riutilizzo consono. Le informazioni
sulla restituzione sono fornite dal venditore. Il ritiro è
gratuito.
Batterie e accumulatori non integrati in modo
fisso nei rifiuti di apparecchiature elettriche
vanno tolti prima dello smaltimento e smaltiti
separatamente. Le batterie al litio e gli accu-
mulatori di tutti i sistemi vanno consegnati ai punti di
raccolta solo una volta scarichi. Le batterie vanno
sempre assicurate da possibili cortocircuiti appli-
cando del nastro adesivo sui poli.
L’utente finale è responsabile della cancellazione dei
dati personali dalle apparecchiature da smaltire.

de plastiques, pour le retrait de peintures et pour le
réchauffement de gaines thermorétractables. Il est
également approprié pour la dissolution de liaisons
collées et pour le dégel de conduites d’eau.
L’objet n’est pas conçu pour une utilisation commer-
ciale. Les directives généralement reconnues en
matière de prévention des accidents et les consignes
de sécurité jointes doivent impérativement être res-
pectées.
Réalisez uniquement des activités qui sont décrites
dans ce mode d’emploi. Toute autre utilisation est
une utilisation non conforme et non autorisée. Le
fabricant décline toute responsabilité pour les dom-
mages en résultant.

•La protection doit être assurée par un disjoncteur
différentiel présentant un courant de fuite assigné
de 30 mA maximum.
•Avant de brancher l’appareil, il doit être garanti
que le branchement secteur correspond aux don-
nées de raccordement de l’appareil.
•L’appareil ne doit être utilisé que dans les limites
des seuils définis en matière de tension, de puis-
sance et de vitesse nominale (voir plaque signa-
létique).
•Ne pas toucher la fiche secteur avec les mains
mouillées ! Enlever la fiche secteur par la prise et
non pas en tirant sur le câble.
•Ne pliez pas, n’écrasez pas ou n’arrachez pas le
câble secteur ; protégez-le des arêtes tran-
chantes, de l’huile et de la chaleur.
•Ne soulevez pas l’appareil par son câble et n’utili-
sez pas ce dernier à d’autres fins que celles aux-
quelles il est destiné.
•Contrôlez la prise et le câble avant chaque utilisa-
tion.
•En cas d’endommagement du câble secteur,
débranchez immédiatement la fiche secteur.
N’utilisez jamais l’appareil si le câble secteur est
endommagé.
•Lorsque l’appareil n’est pas utilisé, il faut toujours
que la fiche secteur soit débranchée.
•Avant de brancher la fiche secteur, vérifiez que
l’appareil est hors tension.

Consignes propres à l’appareil
•Veillez à une aération suffisante de l’emplace-
ment de travail. Les gaz et vapeurs formés

•Ne pas exploiter l’appareil dans un environne-
ment mouillé ou humide.
•Une manipulation non attentionnée de l’appareil
contribue à un risque d’incendie et d’explosion
accru.
•Lors du traitement de plastiques, peintures, ver-
nis et autres matériaux, des gaz toxiques et
inflammables peuvent se former. Ne pas travailler
à proximité de gaz ou de matériaux facilement
inflammables.
•De la chaleur peut accéder à des éléments
inflammables qui se trouvent hors de portée de
vue.
•Ne pas orienter l’appareil trop longtemps sur un
seul et même emplacement.
•Risque de brûlures ! Ne pas toucher la buse très
chaude. Porter des gants de protection.
•Ne jamais diriger le courant d’air chaud sur des
personnes ou des animaux.
•Ne jamais utiliser l’appareil comme séchoir ou
pour sécher des vêtements.
•Ne pas apposer la buse trop près de la pièce à
traiter. Le bouchon d’air qui est créé peut conduire
à une surchauffe de l’appareil.
•Ne pas bloquer les ouvertures d’entrée d’air.
•Laissez intégralement refroidir l’appareil avant de
le stocker. La buse chaude peut causer des dom-
mages et des incendies.
•Attention, les pièces mobiles peuvent également
se trouver derrière les ouvertures d’arrivée et de
sortie d’air.
•Les symboles apposés sur votre appareil ne
doivent être ni retirés ni recouverts. Si certaines
informations apposées sur l’appareil deviennent
illisibles, elles doivent être immédiatement rem-
placées.

DANGER ! Danger de mort ! Fréquem-
ment, les conduites d’eau ne peuvent pas
être différenciées des conduites de gaz. Il
est strictement interdit de réchauffer les
conduites de gaz.
AVERTISSEMENT ! Danger pour la santé
de par des vapeurs montantes ! Porter
un masque de protection respiratoire appro-
prié et contribuer à une aération suffisante
de l’emplacement de travail.

Possibilités d’application
Retrait de peinture et de restes de peinture
– Réchauffer la peinture ou les restes de peintures
sur la surface à traiter avec le pistolet à air chaud
et retirer avec un outil approprié.
Dissoudre la colle
– De nombreuses colles se ramollissent suite à la
chaleur. Des liaisons peuvent ainsi être séparées
ou des colles superflues retirées.
Brasage
– L’appareil est approprié pour le brasage ponctuel
ou le brasage de tubes. La température de fusion
de la soudure doit ici impérativement être de
400 °C.
Collage et déformation de plastiques
– Réchauffer les plastiques par un déplacement
uniforme de droite à gauche. Pour le collage, uti-
liser un thermocollant approprié.
Séchage
– L’appareil peut être utilisé pour le séchage de
peintures, liants ou composants pour joints.
Rétracter
– Sélectionner la gaine thermorétractable selon la
pièce à usiner et réchauffer uniformément avec le
pistolet à air chaud.
Dégel de conduites d’eau
– Toujours réchauffer l’emplacement gelé du bord
vers le milieu. Réchauffer avec une précaution
particulièrement importante les tubes plastiques
ainsi que les liaisons entre les éléments de tubes
afin d’éviter des endommagements.
Buse rapportées
•La buse de rayonnement (4) protège par exemple
les vitres de verre du réchauffement de par la
déviation du flux d’air.
•La buse de réduction (5) génère un courant d’air
ponctuel qui peut par exemple être utilisé pour la
déformation de plastiques.
•La buse de réflexion (6) génère un flux d’air mince
qui peut par exemple être utilisé pour le réchauf-
fement des conduites d’eau gelées.
A contrôler avant d’allumer l’appareil !
Vérifiez les dispositifs de sécurité et l’état de sécurité
de l’appareil :
– Contrôlez si les ouvertures d’entrée d’air sont
libres de blocages.
– Vérifiez la bonne fixation de toutes les pièces.

– Dès que vous avez terminé le travail, débranchez
la prise et laissez refroidir l’appareil debout sur le

Nettoyage et maintenance
Nettoyer l’appareil
Une manipulation consciencieuse et un nettoyage
régulier garantissent un fonctionnement et une per-
formance à long terme de l’appareil.
– Essuyez l’appareil avec un chiffon légèrement
humidifié.
– Ne jamais arroser l’appareil avec de l’eau ou
l’exposer à l’eau.
– Pour le nettoyage, ne jamais utiliser de produits
de nettoyage ou de solvants. L’appareil peut subir
des dommages irréparables. Les pièces en plas-
tique peuvent être attaquées par les produits
chimiques.
– Libérer les ouvertures d’entrée d’air et la buse
d’encrassements et de blocages.
Stockage, transport

•Laissez refroidir intégralement l’appareil avant de

Il s’agit souvent de petits défauts qui conduisent à
une défectuosité. Vous pouvez souvent éliminer le
problème par vous-même. Veuillez tout d’abord
consulter le tableau suivant avant de vous adresser à
votre revendeur. Vous économisez ainsi un dérange-
ment et éventuellement aussi des coûts.
Si vous n’êtes pas en mesure d’éliminer la panne par
vous-même, veuillez vous adresser directement à
votre revendeur. Notez que la réalisation de répara-
tions non conformes entraîne l’annulation de la
garantie et vous entraîne éventuellement des coûts
supplémentaires.

Intended use
The product is intended for deforming and heat-seal-
ing synthetic materials, for removing coats of paint
and heating up of shrink hoses. It is also suitable for
dissolving adhesive bonds and for thawing water
pipes.
This product is not intended for commercial use. Gen-
erally acknowledged accident prevention regulations
and enclosed safety instructions must be observed.
Only perform work described in these instructions for
use. Any other use is improper. The manufacturer will
not assume responsibility for damage resulting from
such use.

throughout these instructions for use. The following

•To operate this device safely, the user must have

Electrical safety
•The device may only be connected to a socket
that is correctly installed and grounded.
•The fuse must be a residual current circuit-
breaker with a measured residual current of no
more than 30 mA.
•Make sure that the power supply corresponds
with the connection specifications of the device
before it is connected.
•The device may only be used within the specified
limitations for voltage and power (see type plate).
•Do not touch the mains plug with wet hands!
Always pull out the mains plug at the plug and not
by the cable.
•Do not bend, crush, pull or drive over the power
cable, protect from sharp edges, oil and heat.
•Do not lift the device using the cable or use the
cable for purposes other than intended.
•Check the plug and cable before each use.
•If the power cable is damaged immediately dis-
connect the plug. Never use the device if the

•Make sure that the device is switched off before
plugging in the mains cable.
•Make sure that the device is switched off before
unplugging it.

Device-specific safety instructions
•Make sure the workplace is adequately venti-
lated. Residual gases and vapours can be harm-
ful to health.
•Do not operate the product in moist environments
or allow it to become moist.
•Careless handling of the product increases the
risk of fire and explosion.
•Flammable and toxic gases can develop when
working with synthetics, paints, varnishes and
similar materials. Do not work in the proximity of
highly flammable gases or materials.
•Heat can reach flammable parts that are not visi-
ble.
•Do not use the product in the same position for a
long time.
•Risk of burns! Do not touch the hot nozzle. Wear
protective gloves.
•Never point the hot air current at persons or ani-
mals.
•Never use the product as a hair dryer or for drying
clothing.
•Do not move the nozzle too close to the part to be
treated. The resultant build up of air can cause the
product to overheat.
•Do not block the air inlet openings.
•Let the product completely cool before storing.
The hot nozzle can cause damage and fires.
•Remember that moving parts may also be located
behind ventilation and venting slots.
•Symbols affixed to your tools may not be removed
or covered. Information on the device that is no
longer legible must be replaced immediately.
Read and observe the instructions for use be-
fore using for the first time.

Wear fire-resistant protective gloves (protec-
tion against heat sources) when working with
the product.
Wear a suitable respirator mask when work-
ing with the product.

Operation
Potential applications
Removing paint and paint residues
– Heat up paint or residual paint on the surface to
be treated using the hot air gun and remove using
a suitable tool.
Dissolving adhesives
– Many adhesives can be softened using heat.
Joints can be separated or excess glue can be
removed in this way.
Soft soldering
– The product is suitable for spot soldering or sol-
dering pipes. The fusing temperature of the solder
must be below 400 °C.
Bonding and deforming synthetic materials
– Heat up synthetic materials by consistent see-
saw movements. Use suitable hot adhesives for
bonding.
Drying
– The product can be used for drying coats of
paints, binders and sealants.
Shrinking
– Select the shrink hose according to the workpiece
and heat up evenly using the hot air gun.
Thawing of water pipes
– Always heat up the frozen section from edge to
middle. Exercise extreme caution when heating
up plastic pipes and joints between pipe sections
in order to prevent damage.
Cap nozzles
Note: The actual appearance of your prod-
uct may differ from the illustrations.
DANGER! Danger of death! Water pipes
can sometimes be difficult to tell apart from
gas pipes. Under no circumstances may gas
pipes be heated.
WARNING! Health risk due to rising
vapours! Wear an appropriate respirator
mask and make sure the workplace is ade-
quately ventilated.
NOTICE! Risk of damage! An excessive
supply of heat can cause damage to the
workpiece. Perform a sample operation in a
safe place.
WARNING! Risk of injury! The nozzle
must not be replaced until the device has
cooled off and has been disconnected from
the mains.

•The air-blast nozzle (4) protects panes of glass,
for example, from being heated up by diverting
the air current.
•The reducing nozzle (5) produces a precise air
current which can be used for deforming synthetic
materials, for example.
•The reflector nozzle (6) produces a flat air current
which can be used for thawing frozen water pipes,
for example.
Check before switching on!
Check the safe condition of the product:
– Check that the air inlet openings are not blocked.
– Check all parts to make sure that they fit tightly.
– Check whether there are any visible defects: bro-
ken parts, cracks, etc.
Switching on/off
– Attach the required cap nozzle.
– Connect the product to the power supply.
– Point the nozzle at the surface to be treated.
– Switching on: Set the On/Off switch (3) to posi-
tion [I]–[II].
– Switching off: Set the On/Off switch (3) to posi-
tion [0].
– As soon as the work is completed pull out the
mains plug and put the product on its stand (4) to
let it cool down (►P. 4, item 3).
Cleaning and maintenance
Cleaning the product
Careful handling and regular cleaning ensure that the
product remains functional and efficient for a long
time.
– Wipe down the product with a slightly damp cloth.
– Never spray the product with water or expose it to
water.
– Never use detergents or solvents for cleaning.
This can cause irreparable damage to the prod-
uct. The plastic parts can be eaten away by the
chemicals.
– Keep the air inlet openings and nozzle clear of
impurities and blockages.
Storage and transport
Storage
•Allow the product to cool off completely before
storing.
•Store the product in a dry place.
Transport
•Use the original packaging to ship whenever pos-
sible.
Troubleshooting
If something isn’t working…
Malfunctions are often caused by minor faults. You
can easily remedy most of these yourself. Please
consult the following table before contacting the ven-
dor. You will save yourself a lot of trouble and possibly
money too.
If you can’t fix the fault yourself, contact your nearest
vendor. Please be aware that any improper repairs
will also invalidate the warranty and additional costs
may be incurred.
DANGER! Risk of injury! The product
must only be put into operation if no defects
are found. It is crucial that any defective
parts are replaced before the product is
used again.
NOTICE! Risk of product damage!
Always maintain a minimum distance of
25 mm between the nozzle and the surface
to be treated.
NOTICE! Risk of product damage! Never
use the product with the air inlet openings
pointing downwards. Dirty air can be sucked
in.
NOTICE! Risk of product damage! The
product must always be used with one of the
cap nozzles.
DANGER! Risk of injury!
DANGER! Risk of injury! Switch off the
product and disconnect the mains plug
before all cleaning and maintenance work.
Wait until all moving parts have come to a
complete stop and the product has cooled
down.

Disposal
Disposal of the appliance
A crossed-out wheelie bin icon means: Bat-
teries and rechargeable batteries, electrical
or electronic devices must not be disposed of
with household waste. They may contain
substances that are harmful to the environ-
ment and human health.
Consumers must dispose of waste electrical devices,
spent portable batteries and rechargeable batteries
separately from household waste at an official collec-
tion point to ensure that these items are processed
correctly. Information on returning these items is
available from the seller. Sellers are required to
accept these items free of charge.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries, which
are not permanently installed in waste elec-
trical devices, must be removed prior to dis-
posal and must be disposed of separately.
Lithium batteries and battery packs in all systems
must only be retuned to a collection point when dis-
charged. Batteries must always be protected against
short circuits by covering the poles with adhesive
tape.
All end users are responsible for deleting any per-
sonal data stored on waste devices prior to their dis-
posal.
Disposal of the packaging
The packaging consists of cardboard and
correspondingly marked plastics that can
be recycled.
