1 Overview
These documents are helpful to understand the DO200 Parking Occupation Sensor’s
following:

2 Device Function DO200_LoRaWAN Parking Occupation
Sensor's
Function:The device can detect if the parking space is occupied.When the vehicle is
detected to enter or leave, the sensor will be triggered to report the data.
The device detects whether the parking space is occupied by a combination of
magnetic field and ultrasonic wave. Therefore, the accuracy is improved.
When the connect the battery or the device is restarted by magnet, the sensor will
learn the surrounding magnetic field environment and calibrate, so it is considered
to be a car-free state at this time.
3 The Main LoRaWAN Band Introduction
The main LoRaWAN band are used given below CN470, EU868, US915, AU915,
AS923. The default frequency settings are as follows:

4 How to restart sensor through magnet?
Magnet:
Move the magnet around the probe one turn and remove the magnet. This process
restarts the device. If the device is successfully rebooted, will initialize the device,
and the device will report a data that is displayed as being not occupied state.

This section describes how to modify the parameters of the device through the serial
port, such as upload time interval, and so on.
6.1 Required tools
●TTL and its cable; TTL and cable for the goods accessories Please check these
two items when you receive package from company as shown in Figure6.1 and
Figure6.2.
●Serial software
●Equipment
Note: the TTL we sent may be different from the appearance with the picture.

Serial software:,of course if you have other COM software, you can also
use yourself.
6.2 Connect TTL to sensor
Steps:
1Connect TTL to sensor, as shown in figure6.4, e.g: figure6.5. Device serial port
definition: GND, TX and RX positions have been marked on the diagram. as shown in
Figure6.3.

After completing the two steps 6.1 and 6.2, you can refer to this step to configure
the corresponding parameters through the serial port software.
1 serial port software parameter setting
Open the serial port software. The default serial port information is shown in Figure
6.6.
The parameters required for the DO200 serial port are shown in Figure 6.7;
Port number ( you can select port Number from device manager of your system)
Set the baud rate: 115200
Parity bit: NONE
Data bits: 8
Stop bit: 1

2 Connect the device's power(battery)
Connect the capacity and battery to the (2pin)connector location on the
motherboard as shown in Figure 6.8:

3 Send command
When power it on, you can see some information output from the serial port. At this
point, the device starts working and can send commands. At this time, the
corresponding parameters can be configured to configure the required parameters.
Note: when the serial show “sleep”,mean that the sensor have come into sleep mode
Sending instructions at this time is invalid.so you need to restart the sensor by
magnet.

For example 1: change upload time to 10 hours
The command is: 8888010A, as shown in figure6.9,

Notes:
1 After the device enters sleep mode, the sending command is invalid;
2 Check whether the RX and TX of the TTL and the device are correctly connected. If
the connection is reversed, no output is displayed on the serial port after the device
is powered on, and the device can not be configured.
3 if you want to change other parameters,please send the corresponding command
in the same way. Please refer to the product agreement for detailed command
instructions.
7 Modify LoRaWAN parameters(deveui,appeui,band...)
After completing the two steps 6.1 and 6.2, you can refer to this step to configure
the corresponding parameters through the serial port software.

2 Power the device on
When power it on, you can see some information output from the serial port. At this
point, the device starts working and as following below;
3 Enter the configuration LoRaWAN parameter mode
Periodically send @in 50ms, as shown in Figure 7.4;
Use the magnet to restart the device and receive the information shown in Figure 7.5;
The instruction 1 is sent in ASCII, and the information shown in Figure7.6 is received;
According to the prompt, switch the port baud rate to 9600, and then start sending
the corresponding command to configure the LoRaWAN parameters, as shown in
Figure 7.7.

Notes:
1 If you need to configure other LoRaWAN parameters, such as DevEui, AppEui, etc.,
send the corresponding command on this serial port. For details of other
instructions, please refer to the LoRaWAN module AT command manual.
2 After configuring the LoRaWAN parameter and restarting the device with a
magnet, you can exit the configuration of the LoRaWAN parameter mode to make it
work normally.
8 Protocol and API Interface
The communication protocol(API Interface) is confidential is only open for customer
who has purchase the device and sign the NDA(non-disclosure agreement) file with
CNDingtek and his own Company. Please contact our sales team
system.
9 FAQ
Q1 Why can not I see the device data?
A1:no battery connected;
Considering shipping rules, some is not connected for battery. So user should open
cover and connect battery with the pcb board. For some version with magnetic part
outside, please remove the magnetic part, then the battery will power on the sensor.
Q2 Is it possible to modify the LoRaWAN parameters, such as deveui, appkey
or band and so on?
Yes, You can modify the LoRaWAN parameters by serial port. Please refer to part7
of this manual.
