1 Overview
This document will help you better understand the DO200 Smart Parking Detector, please read
this document before you use the device. The following are introduced separately:

2 DO200 Function Introduction (working mechanism)
This product adopts the method of geomagnetic + ultrasonic to detect whether the parking
space is occupied, which greatly improves the accuracy. The following describes the default
parameters, working mechanism, principle, and quick usage of this product.
2.1 Default Parameter Settings
Note: The above parameters can be modified by commands through the serial port (TTL) or the
platform.
2.2 Detecting the occupancy of parking spaces through
Geomagnetic
By detecting the change in the strength of the magnetic field, it is determined whether the
parking space is occupied. The default detection interval is 10s.
2.3 Detecting the occupancy of parking spaces through Ultrasonic
The distance from the device to the bottom of the vehicle is detected by ultrasonic waves to
determine whether the parking space is occupied. The effective distance is 0-50cm, in which the
parking space is considered occupied, and other cases indicate that it is not occupied. The
default detection interval is 10min.

2.4 Initialization
The DO200 detector can be initialized using a magnet. Note that the device must be initialized
after installation.
2.5 Device Self-Test Function
Self-calibration function; timing self-calibration to reduce errors. The default self-test interval is
24h.
3 Install NB sim card
NB-IoT card: MICRO card; The frequency band of the card used must be consistent with the
device frequency band.
Install the NB card: This sensor uses a self-elastic card slot. Please open the device casing and
find the position of the card slot on the NB module. Press the card into the card slot according to
the following picture.
Note: When installing, please pay attention to the position and orientation of the card.

4 Sensor Initialization(reset sensor)
Move the magnet around the probe one turn and remove the magnet. This process restarts the
device. If the device is successfully rebooted, the device will report a data that is displayed as
being moved and the current full/empty state.

5 Quick Start
Step1: Open the case, and install the SIM card;
Step2: connect the power supply;
Step3:set the APN;
Step4: restart sensor, then check if data is received after power is turned on;
Step5: Actual parking space test
Actual parking space test:
Step1: Online tested
Step2: After the device is powered on, close the outer casing;
Step3: Install the equipment on the parking space; please refer to the Installation Manual.
Step4: Restart the device and initialize it; check whether the initialized data is received on the
platform. If so, continue with the steps below;
Step5: Drive into the vehicle, trigger the device to report the data; view the data on the platform;
Step6: Wait at least 10s or more
Step7: Drive out the vehicle, trigger the device to report the data; view the data on the platform;
The above 5, 6 steps can be repeated for testing.
Note:
1 when you restart sensor, please use the magnet to reset, But don't plug and unplug the battery
frequently!
2 Please disconnect the battery and capacity when you donot use the sensor!
