Safety
• Theproduct may be used by children aged 8 years and above and by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of experience and
knowledge provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of theproduct in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without adult
supervision.
• If themains lead is damaged in any way it must be replaced by aqualified
electrician.
• Unplug theproduct from thepower point once thecharging has been completed.
• Unplug theproduct and store it in adry, dust-free environment out of children’s
reach whenever it is not inuse.
• Theproduct must only be connected to astandard domestic 100–240V, 50/60Hz
electrical supply.
• Theproduct must only be used as described in this instruction manual.
• Do not subject theproduct to impacts or shocks and do not expose it to extremely
hot, cold or dusty environments. Neverimmerse theproduct in water or other liquid.
• Theproduct is intended for indoor useonly.
• Never try to open thehousing or modify theproduct in anyway.
• Only use model ABP118CL and ABP118L4 18 V lithium-ion batteries.
Thebattery voltage must match thevoltage of thecharger. Ifthewrong type
of battery is charged there is arisk of fire or explosion.
• Do not cover or block theventilation openings of theproduct. Theproduct
may overheat which may pose afirerisk.
• Inspect theproduct, mains lead and plug before eachuse. Donot use
theproduct if it, its mains lead or plug are damaged in anyway.
• Ensure that thehousing of theproduct is keptclean. Wipetheproduct clean
with adry cloth and vacuum clean when needed. Dirtcan cause electric shocks.
• All repairs must be carried out by qualified service technicians using genuine
spareparts. Adamaged charger, mains lead or plug will increase therisk of
electricshock.
