Safety
Thefollowing safety instructions must be followed; for your safety and thesafety of
others. Carefully read through all theinstructions before using theheater.
• Children between theages of 3 and 8 must only switch theheater on/off provided
that it has been placed or installed in its normal operating position and provided
that thechildren are under adult supervision or have been instructed in thesafe
use of theproduct and understand thehazards associated with heaters.
• Children between theages of 3 and 8 must not plug theheater into anelectrical
socket, change thesettings, clean or carry out any maintenance work on theheater.
• Children under theage of 3 must not be in thevicinity of theheater unless they are
under theconstant supervision of anadult.
• WARNING – certain parts of theheater can become very hot and causeburns.
Special care must be shown if children, pets or anyone requiring special attention
is present in thesame room as theheater.
• Theheater should not be placed directly beneath awall socket.
• Theheater must never be used with atimer or other equipment which turns
theheater on automatically. Thisis because theheater might be in adangerous
position or covered by aflammable object which could constitute afire hazard.
• Never place theheater close to abathtub, shower or swimmingpool.
• Theheater must not be immersed in water for cleaning.
• Do not place theheater close to curtains or combustible materials which could
ignite and start afire. Theheater must not be placed on asoft carpet, rug or
similar surface which could block theair intake on thebottom of theheater.
Firehazard!
• Theheater must not be covered over with anything whilst it is switched on or
before it has cooled down afteruse.
• Do not coil themains lead around theheater.
• Theheater must never be used where flammable liquids or explosive gases are stored.
• Theheater must not be used as atowel dryer or for drying clothes.
• Do not use theheater for heating greenhouses, saunas, drying rooms or similar
locations.
• Do not use theheater for heating locations where livestock or animals are housed.
• Theheater should be placed on aflat, level surface.

• Theheater becomes very hot during use and will remain so for awhile, even after
being switchedoff. Theheater should therefore never be touched until it has
cooled sufficiently.
• Theheater should be treated with care; it should not be subjected to impacts
andvibrations.
• Theheater must only be connected to anearthed electrical socket.
• If theheater is damaged it should be replaced by aqualified service technician.
• If themains lead is damaged it must only be replaced by themanufacturer,
retailer or other qualified service technician.
• Theheater may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capability, lack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardise their safety,
provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning thesafe use
of theproduct and understand thehazards involved.
• Theheater is only intended for domesticuse. Itmust not be used on building sites,
in greenhouses, barns or stables containing combustibledust.
• Theheater becomes very hot duringuse. Pullout theplug and let theheater cool
before cleaning.
• Theheater should be plugged into anelectrical socket which is visible and easy
toaccess.
• Always unplug theheater when it is not inuse.
• Theheater is only designed for normal indoor use (IP24) and must not be usedoutdoors.
• Never turn theheater off by unpluggingit. Always turn theheater off by setting
theon/off switch to theoff position.
• Ensure that no foreign objects enter theheater as this may lead to short circuiting,
electric shock, or afire hazard.
• Never position theheater in such away that themains lead is directly in front of or
touching thehousing of theheater.
• Theheater must only be connected to anearthed electrical socket with apower
supply of 220–240 V AC.
• Only use theheater as described in theinstruction manual. Donot use theheater
for any purpose other than that for which it was intended or modify it in anyway.
• Make sure theheater is clean and is not covered with dust or residue.
• Theheater can either be used with theincluded feet fitted, standing on ahard flat
level surface or mounted on awall using theincluded wall bracket.
• For extra safety, all electrical products connected to themains should be run
through anRCD for personal safety. TheRCD should be rated to trip at 30mA.
Storage
Store theheater in its box in acool and dry location, together with its instruction manual.

Assembly
Compact electric radiator for free-standing or wall mounteduse.
Fixings
1. Wallplugs and screws (2×)

Free standing use
Screw both feet (5) to thebottom of thepanel heater, theattachment screws are
already pre-mounted to theheater (see arrow). Remove theattachment screws,
then align thefeet’s screw holes to theone’s on theheater. Insert thescrews and
tighten securely. Note: Ensure that thefeet’s tongues slot securely into thegrooves in
theheater before tightening thescrews.
Note: Theconvector heater must not be used free-standing if thefeet are damaged
or missing.

Wall mounted use
1. Screwthewall brackets (3) on either side
of thehandle on theback of theheater
using theshort screws. Thescrews
must be in thelower holes in order for
theheater to hang on thekeyholeslots.
2. Screwthespacers (4) onto thelower
edge of theback of theheater using
shortscrews.
3. Screwthewall anchor (2) to thelower
back of theheater using ashortscrew.
4. Measure thedistance between thecentres of thekeyhole slots and mark out
theposition of themounting screws on thewall. Screwin thetwo long screws, but
not completely, leave them protruding about 5mm. Useamasonry drill and wall
plugs if necessary.
5. Hangtheheater onto thescrews.
6. Screwthewall anchors (2) onto thewall using thelongscrew.
Operating instructions
1. Standtheheater on afirm, flat level
surface or mount it on awall using
theincluded bracket and in accordance
with thepictured minimum clearance
requirements (in millimetres).
2. Makesure that thepower switch is set to POWER OFF before plugging theheater
into awall socket.
3. Plugthemains lead into awall socket.
4. Setthepower switch knob to either EXPRESS (1000 W) or ECONOMY (500W).
Thepower indicator lamp lights up when theheater is heating,i.e., when
theheater is plugged in, switched on and thethermostat is operating.

5. Setthefundamental temperature setting: slowly turn thethermostat clockwise to
MAX and let theheater warmup. Thenslowly turn thethermostat anticlockwise
until it clicks and theheater switches off (theindicator light goes out). Leavethe
heater on for awhile and fine-tune thethermostat setting to thedesired temperature.
6. Setthepower switch to POWER OFF to switch theheater off and then unplug it
from thewall socket when you have finished usingit.
Note: Theheater is fitted with atip-over switch which switches
theheater off if it leans or fallsover. Thetip-over switch resets
automatically as soon as theheater returns to thevertical.
Care and cleaning
We recommend that theheater is cleaned at least once amonth and before storing itaway.
1. Switch theheater off, unplug it from thewall socket and let itcool.
2. Useadry cloth to wipe off any dust or debris from thehousing.
3. Avoidusing water, wax, polish, solvents or other chemical solutions.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of
with general household waste. This applies throughout theentire EU.
In order to prevent any harm to theenvironment or health hazards
caused by incorrect waste disposal, theproduct must be handed in
for recycling so that thematerial can be disposed of in aresponsible
manner. When recycling your product, take it to your local collection
facility or contact theplace of purchase. They will ensure that
theproduct is disposed of in anenvironmentally sound manner.

• Elementet får aldrig användas där brandfarliga vätskor eller explosiva gaser förvaras.
• Elementet får inte användas som handdukstork eller för att torka kläder.
• Använd inte elementet till att värma upp växthus, bastu, torkrum eller liknande.
• Använd inte elementet till att värma upp utrymme för djuruppfödning eller där
djurvistas.
• Placera elementet på enhorisontell, jämnyta.
• Elementet blir mycket varmt vid användning och enstund efter att det har
stängtsav. Vidrör därför aldrig elementet innan det svalnat.

• Elementet ska hanteras varsamt, det får inte utsättas för slag och vibrationer.
• Elementet måste anslutas till ettjordat eluttag.
• Om elementet är skadat, måste det repareras av enkvalificerad tekniker.
• Om nätsladden skadas får den, för att fara ska undvikas, bytas ut endast av
tillverkaren, återförsäljaren eller annan kvalificerad person.
• Elementet får användas av personer med någon form av funktionsnedsättning,
brist på erfarenhet eller kunskap som skulle kunna äventyra säkerheten, om de har
fått instruktioner om hur det på ettsäkert sätt ska användas och förstår faror och
risker som kan uppkomma.
• Elementet är endast avsett för användning ibostäder. Detfår inte användas på
byggplatser, iväxthus, lador eller stall där det finns brandfarligtdamm.
• Elementet blir mycket varmt vid användning. Draur stickproppen och låt det kallna
före rengöring.
• Elementets stickpropp ska anslutas till etteluttag som är väl synligt och lätt att
kommaåt.
• Dra alltid ur stickproppen när elementet inte används.
• Elementet är enbart avsett för normal användning inomhus (IP24) och får ej
användas utomhus.
• Stäng aldrig av elementet genom att dra ur stickproppen. Seistället till att strömbrytaren
står iavstängtläge.
• Se till att främmande föremål inte kommer in ielementet eftersom detta kan orsaka
kortslutning, elektrisk stöt eller brandfara.
• Placera aldrig elementet så att sladden ligger framför eller direkt mot elementet.
• Anslut endast elementet till ettjordat uttag med spänning 220–240 V AC.
• Använd endast elementet för uppvärmning av lokaler på det sätt som beskrivs
ibruksanvisningen, använd det inte till något annat och modifiera inte produkten
på någotvis.
• Se till att elementet är rent och inte har någon beläggning.
• Elementet är avsett för att placeras fristående på enhård, plan vågrät yta med fötterna
neråt eller på vägg med de bifogade delarna som utgör väggfäste.
• För extra säkerhet bör alltid elektriska produkter anslutas till elnätet via
enjordfelsbrytare för personskydd. Denlöser ut vid fel och ska varamärkt:
Utlösningsström 30mA.
Förvaring
Förvara elementet ikartongen tillsammans med bruksanvisningen på entorr och svalplats.

Fristående
Skruva fast de båda fötterna (5) på undersidan av elementet, fästskruvarna är redan
monterade (vid pilen på bilden). Lossa fästskruvarna, placera fötterna på undersidan
av elementet och dra åt skruvarna. Obs! Fötterna ska vändas rätt vid montering,
de har en förhöjning som passar in i det avlånga hålet i elementet.
Obs! Elementet får inte användas fristående om fötterna saknas eller är skadade.
