tobeinated,neverexceedrecommended
pressure.Burstingitemscancause
seriousinjury.
•Therearenouserserviceableparts.
•Donotuseunderwetconditions.Keep
awayfromwater.
•Neverlookintoorpointanyopeningtoward
youreyeswhilepumpisoperating.
•Donotattempttoputanyobjectsintothe
inationordeationportatanytime.
•Neverleavepumpunattendedwhileinuse.
•Neverallowsand,paper,debrisorsmall
articlestobesuckedintopump
whileoperating.
•Motormaybehot.Usecautionwhen
replacingbatteries.
•Letpumpcoolbeforestoringthepump
insidetheboxafteruse.
Do not operate pump continuously for
more than 15 minutes. Allow 10 minutes
OFF between each operation.
CAUTION: Do not block the air portals
during operation, this could damage
the motor.

•AdaptorworkswithColeman®Double
Lock™Valveaswellasotherairbedvalves
onthemarket.
•OperatesonfourD-cellbatteries.
•Carefullyinspectthepumpfordamage
beforerstuseandeveryusethereafter.
Donotuseiffounddamaged.
•Keepunitoutofreachofchildren.
•Donotexposetorainorsunlight.
Householduseonly.
•Thispumpisahigh-volume,low-pressure
pump.Itisintendedtoinateitems
requiringlowpressure(suchasinatable
beds,inatablerafts,airmattresses,etc.).
•Forfastinationandmaximummotor
cooling,alwaysusethelargestsizenozzle
possible.
Note: Pumpwillnotworkonstemvalvesor
needlevalvescommonlyusedonbiketires,
basketballs,etc.
•Alwayspurchasethecorrectsizeand
gradeofbatterymostsuitableforthe
intendeduse.
•Foroptimumperformancealkaline
batteriesarerecommended.
•Replaceallbatteriesofasetatthe
sametime.
•Cleanthebatterycontactsandalsothose
ofthedevicepriortobatteryinstallation.
•Ensurethebatteriesareinstalled
correctlywithregardtopolarity(+and–).

•Removebatteriesfromequipmentwhich
isnottobeusedforanextendedperiod
oftime.
•Removeusedbatteriespromptly.

To Install or Replace Batteries
Yournewpumpoperateson4“D”cellbatteries.
Forlongestlife,usealkalinebatteries.
1.Makesurethepumpis
off,thenturnonitsside
withtheBatteryCover
(A)facingup.(Fig.6)
2.Release/removethe
BatteryCover(A)by
liftingupontheLatch
(B).(Fig.6)
3.Install4batteriesin
thecorrectorientation
asshown.Alwaysbe
surethebatteriesare
installedcorrectly.(Fig.
7)
Note: Motormaybe
hot.Usecautionwhen
replacingthebatteries.
4.ReplacetheBattery
Cover(A)andsecure
theLatch(B).Lineup
“Tabs”(C)onBattery
Cover(A)withthe
“Slots”(D)onthebattery
compartment.(Fig.8)
Inserttabsintoslots,
pressdownonlatchendofthebattercover,
closelatch.

Inflation and Deflation
•Tobegininflation,openexternalcap
andpullfirmlyonthelanyardtoextend
out.Thiswillopeninternalyellowseal.

•Attachadapternozzletoinflationendofpump.
Insertpumpandturnon.(Fig.2)
•Whenfullyinflated,sealvalvebypushinginwith
pumpnozzle.Thiswillsealtheinternalyellow
stopperandkeepairfromescapingwhileclosing
cap.(Fig.3)
•Fullyremovepumpandcloseexternalcap.Valve
shouldappeardepressedintoitself.(Fig.4)
•Removeadapternozzlefrominflationendand
attachtodeflationsideofpump.Repeatsamesteps
asinflation.Thiswilldrawtheairoutquickly.(Fig.5)
Other Valves
Workswithstandardwideopeningandboston
stylevalves.
Note: For optimum performance,
alkaline batteries are recommended.
