Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save
it for future reference. Wereserve theright for any errors in text or images and any
necessary changes made to technicaldata. Ifyou have any questions concerning

Safety
• Thefan heater must be kept out of reach of children under 3 years of age unless
they are under constant supervision.
• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years should only switch theappliance on/
off provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating
position and they have been given supervision or instruction in thesafe use of
theappliance and understand thehazards involved.
• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years must not plug in, change thesettings
or perform any user maintenance to theappliance.
• Warning: Theproduct becomes very hot during use – Burn hazard. Particular
attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
• This product must not be used by anyone (including children) suffering from
physical or mental impairment. Thisproduct should not be used by anyone that
has not read theinstruction manual unless they have been instructed in its use by
someone who will take responsibility for their safety.
• Never let children play with thefan heater.
• Make sure that none of theventilation openings is blocked.
• Thefan heater must only be used on aflat surface.
• Always unplug theappliance when it is not in use and before cleaningit.
• Never leave thefan heater unattended when it is in operation.
• Thefan heater is only intended for normal domestic use and only in themanner
described in this instruction manual.
• Always place thefan heater at least 90cm away from combustible materials such
as furniture, curtains and bedlinen.
• Never use thefan heater if it is in any way damaged or malfunctioning. Donot use
thefan heater if themains lead or plug is damaged in anyway.
• Never place thefan heater close to abathtub, shower or swimmingpool.
• Never immerse thefan heater in water or allow water to come into contact with
theplug, thermostat or power switch.
• Ensure that dust or fluff does not accumulate inside theheater as this could
lead to overheating of theelement. Makesure that no foreign objects can enter
theventilation openings as this can present arisk of electric shock orfire.
• Children in thearea where theappliance is used must be kept under supervision.

• Always keep thefan heater out of reach of children and invalids, do not let them
use thefan heater without supervision.
• Thefan heater should only be connected to a230 V, 50 Hz power supply.
• Thefan heater must not be placed directly below awall socket.
• Thefan heater must not be placed on or next to astove, cooker hob or heat source.
• Do not leave thefan heater switched on unattended overnight.
• Before connecting thefan heater to themains, make sure that it is turned off and
that your hands are completelydry.
• Do not use extension leads for this product. Connect it directly to amains outlet.
• Thefan heater is intended for indoor useonly.
• Thefan heater must not be taken apart or modified. Thecasing houses non-
insulated components. Contact with these can lead to fire or electricshock.
• Themains lead must be changed if damaged. Thisis to prevent therisk of electric
shock or fire and should only be carried out by themanufacturer, qualified service
facility or qualified technician.
• Make sure to route themains lead behind thefan heater so that it is not heated by
thehot air from thefan heater.
• Never use water or awet cloth to clean thehousing of thefan heater, doing so will
pose arisk of electric shock or short-circuiting.
• Thefan heater must not be used in humid environments.
• Always let thefan heater cool down before movingit.
• Thefan heater may not be controlled by anexternal timer or any type of remote control.
Warning: Donotcover. Toavoid overheating, never cover theappliance.

Touchbuttons on fan heater and remote control
A. [HEATER (1) ], upper heating element.
Touchrepeatedly to select power setting:
max– min –off.
B. [HEATER (2) ], lower heating element.
Touchrepeatedly to select power setting:
max– min –off.
C. [+] Increase temperature setting/hours for
thetimer depending onmode: temp ortimer.

Assembly
1. Takethefan heater, base and remote control out of thebox and packaging material.
2. Laythefan heater on atable so that thebottom sticks out over theedge.
3. Remove thelocking ring (9) by turning it anticlockwise.
4. Fitthebase onto thebottom of thefan heater and lock it in place by turning
thelocking ring clockwise.
5. Placethefan heater on ahard, flat and level surface.

Remote control
1. Remove any insulation film from thebattery.
2. Insert thebattery (CR2032) into theremote control asshown.
3. Aimtheremote control at thedisplay panel on thefan heater.
Placement
• Place thefan heater on ahard and level surface.
• Never place thefan heater on soft surfaces such as beds, blankets and thickrugs.
• Do not place thefan heater in abathroom, laundry room, or close to thebath or shower.
• Do not use thefan heater in damp or dusty environments.
• Place thefan heater some distance from furniture, curtains or other flammable
objects. Makesure that thefan heater is at least 90cm from combustible materials.
Operating instructions
Display
Illuminates when both themain power switch (7) and power
button(1) are set to ON.
Illuminates when theheating elements are set to lowpower.
Illuminates when theheating elements are set to highpower.
Shows current room temperature.
Shows timer setting inhours.
Illuminates in oscillating (swing)mode.

Modes
1. Plugthefan heater into a230V socket and set themain power switch (7) on
theback panel to ON.
2. Pressthepower button (3) on thecontrolpanel.
3. Thefan heater starts on half power and thedisplayshows:
4. Press (A) and/or (B) once if you want to increase to fullpower. Pressthebutton
again to switch thefan heateroff. Pressonce again to switch thefan heater
backon. Thefan will continue rotating for about 10 seconds after switch-off to
cool theheating elements.
5. Press (F) to start thefan heater oscillating. Pressthebutton once again to stop
theoscillation.
Setting thedesired temperature
1. Switch thefan heateron.
2. Press (E)twice. Thethermostat setting “88°C” will flash on thedisplay.
Setthedesired room temperature (15–35 °C) using (C) and (D) while
thetemperature setting is flashing. Thesetting will be saved when thetemperature
stops flashing.
3. Theheating elements will be switched off automatically when thedesired room
temperature has been reached. Thefan heater will continue to maintain theset
thermostat temperature.
Setting theduration of operation
1. Switch thefan heateron.
2. Press (E)once. Thetimer setting “88H” will flash on thedisplay. Setthedesired
operating time (1–12 hours) using (C) and (D) while thetime setting is flashing.
Thesetting will be saved when thetime stops flashing.
3. Thefan heater will switch off automatically after theset time has elapsed.
Overheating protection
Thefan heater has two built-in thermal cut-out switches. Ifthethermal cut-out switch
is triggered, theheating element is automatically shutoff. Allowthethermal cut-out
switch to cool for 5 minutes. Startthefan heater again as normal.
Tip-over switch
Thefan heater also has atip-over switch which switches thefan heater off if it
is inclined at anangle. Thefan heater can be started again once it is standing
verticallyagain.

Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of with
general householdwaste. Thisapplies throughout theentire EU. Inorder
to prevent any harm to theenvironment or health hazards caused by
incorrect waste disposal, theproduct must be handed in for recycling
so that thematerial can be disposed of in aresponsible manner.
Whenrecycling your product, take it to your local collection facility or
contact theplace of purchase. Theywill ensure that theproduct is
disposed of in anenvironmentally sound manner.
Care and maintenance
• Switch thefan heater off, disconnect it from thepower supply and let it cool before
cleaning.
• Clean theproduct using asoftcloth.
• Use avacuum cleaner to remove any fluff from theinlet and exhaust openings.
• If thefan heater is not to be used for along time it should be covered to keep it
clean and free of dust andfluff. Storethefan heater in its original box together with
theinstruction manual in acool, dryplace.
Cleaning thedust lters
Theair filters should be cleaned everymonth.
1. Remove thefilter grilles (11).
2. Remove thedust filters (12) and soak
them iwater for afew minutes.
3. Wringout thefilters and let them dry
before refittingthem.

Troubleshooting
Thefan heater does notstart.
• Is theplug securely connected to thewall socket?
• Make sure that theelectrical socket islive.
• Is thepower switch on theback panel set to ON?
• Has thethermostat turned off thefan heater? Checkthetemperature setting.
Thefan starts but stops after ashorttime:
• Thetemperature setting is lower than theroom temperature.
Checkthetemperature setting.
