adjustable and can be re-positioned when the chair is fully assembled for correct fit. The
notch end should face up.
4. Insert the shower base leg tubes into
the shower base by depressing the leg
tube locking button and sliding the leg
tube into the shower base frame.

7. Attach the seat back to the seat bottom
with two 9/16” bolts, which may be pre-
attached to the back frame.
8. Attach the seat arms to the seat back using the enclosed bolt and internal spacer.
9. Insert the guide rail clips into the guide rail slots and slide the
seat assembly onto the commode base. If you need to change
the way the chair faces, you may remove the rolling base,
rotate it 180° and insert the guide rail clips into the guide rail
slots, and slide the seat assembly onto the commode base
10. Slide the foot rests onto the foot
rest clamps.
Operating the SureTrans Versa Transfer System
1. Set the commode chair to the desired height by depressing the leg tube
locking buttons and sliding the leg tubes in or out. Adjust the shower
base with the leg adjusting buttons so it is the same height as the
commode chair.
2. Place the shower base in the tub or shower. Level the base with the
leveling feet. The shower base should be the same height as the
commode chair. Lock the leveling feet in place with the jam nuts.

3. Place the bridge in position. Be sure that the bridge seats in the indent slots so that it is flat
with the top of the rails.
If the bridge will not fit
flat, check the height
adjustment on the
commode and shower
base. The height must
be the same on both
sections for proper bridge
fit and smooth transfers.
Warning: Never operate The SureTrans Versa System if the bridge is not seated
securely in place and flat with the commode and transfer base rails.
4. To transfer the sliding seat, lift up on the
safety locking latch located behind the seat
and slide the seat to the desired position.
The seat is in position when it locks into the
safety lock latch on the other side of the
seat.
5. The bridge can be removed during
use so the shower door or curtain can
be closed. Warning: Do not
remove the bridge unless the
safety lock is latched.
Cleaning Your SureTrans Versa System
Soapy water or mild cleansers may be used on all parts of your SureTrans Versa System. Harsh
abrasive cleaners (Ajax, Comet, etc.) may dull the finish.
Save these instructions for future reference.
