Combi Ninna Nanna PA-138V
Soft carrier for cradling, cuddling and back-carrying
Head support is only used after baby's
neck muscle has developed. Store properly
at a safe place if removed from pocket.
*Head support is stored inside pocket in sales package.

Before use
Thank you for purchasing Combi Ninna Nanna PA-138V baby soft carrier.
This product is a generic single-baby carrier designed for cradling,
cuddling or back-carrying a baby during shopping or outdoor activities.
Before use, please read "Name of parts" in P.5 and check out the parts.

Caution about safety
The caution items mentioned here are about how to use the product
properly and safely so as to prevent any possible injury to user and
baby and any damage to the product. Moreover, the caution items are
categorized according to the degree of injury and damage to the product
which are indicated as "warning" and "caution" respectively.
Caution and using conditions mentioned below are very important.
Please read and follow accordingly.

●This product can be used for cradling, cuddling or back-carrying
a baby.

Applicable waist size for user ranges from 55~110cm.
Particular babies in bigger body size may not fit for soft carrier in winter times when wearing
thicker clothes. Please choose clothes for baby carefully before using the soft carrier.

Make sure to secure the following parts when use. Otherwise baby
may fall off from carrier accidentally while in use. Please try as much as possible to tighten the
following belts. Any gap in between baby and
user may cause baby to fall off from the carrier
while in use.

Before use

WARNING
Please seat or unseat baby at a safe place
(a third party aid preferred) to avoid the baby
may falling off accidentally.
When the carrier is in use, please do not
run, jump, lean forward for more than 45
degree, or lean to the side. Otherwise, baby
may accidentally fall off from the carrier.
In cradle or cuddle position, always support
baby with your hands. Baby's unexpected
movement may cause it to fall off from the
carrier.
Cradle position is not applicable to the
following babies.
●Baby weighing more than 7.0kg.
●Baby whose head protrudes out of head
guard when seated.
●Baby who can turn
around itself without aid.
Failure to do so may cause
injury to baby.
In cradle position, make sure baby's head
is in a higher position than its feet, and do
support the baby's head with one hand.
Improper cradling may exhaust the baby or
become cause of injury.

Cuddling is not applicable to baby whose
neck muscle is not yet developed, or
otherwise may exhaust the baby or become
cause of injury.

CAUTION
Please do not use the carrier
continuously for more than 2
hours, or within 30 minutes after
breastfeeding. Otherwise,
unexpected burden will be
inflicted to user
or baby. Also,
please stop
using the carrier
immediately in
case of any
pain and
uncomfort.
Before use
Stop using the product
immediately in case of any
damage of product is found.
Release the "adjustment zipper"
to use when there is a gap of
more than 4cm in between
baby's armpit and the safety belt.
Otherwise baby may fall off the
carrier while in use.
Please do not leave the product
near a raw fire or unattended
outdoor. Otherwise, buckles or
other fabric parts may be
deteriorated by heat or rain which
may in turn become cause of
accidents.
Please do not use this product
for the purposes other than
those advised by this manual
to avoid any damage to the
product.

Adjust waist belt length
Before seating baby, carry the soft carrier along
the shoulder as illustrated and adjust waist belt
with Combi ladder buckle ➁.Combi buckle
should be in open position and stored inside
shoulder strap.
Preparation for cradling

Release crotch snap and pull out waist belt
and Combi ladder buckle ➁.Lift the end of
Combi ladder buckle ➁and adjust waist belt
length. Waist belt is made twisted to better fit
user's body.

It is recommended to set baby's head close to
parent's heart position.
After putting on shoulder strap, shorten the side
closer to the user and baby can be cradled in
a better balanced position.

To seat baby whose neck muscle is yet to develop

3Seat the baby
Open carrier at a safe place and seat
baby inside. Make sure baby's head is
not leaning too tight against head guard.

Put 2 adult fingers in between carrier and
baby and adjust belt length with safety
buckle and Combi ladder buckle ①in
case of feeling too loose or too tight.

4Secure side lock and side snap
To secure side lock, place the side lock
male into the bigger opening on side lock
female and slide upward to secure it.
(Refer to step 2)

Secure safety buckle until heard the "click"
sound.

WARNING
Check to make sure "side lock", "side
snap" and "safety buckle" are secured to
prevent baby from accidentally falling off
while in use.
To secure head guard hooks
Lift head guard hook and place it above
hook attachment ring. Press the front end
of the hook until it clicks into place.

If baby's head is being pressed by head guard,
seat baby deeply as much as possible into the
seat.

To cradle baby whose neck muscle is yet to develop

Put on shoulder strap across shoulder
as shown. 2Support baby with hands
Use hands to support baby's head and
hip.
In case of baby with smaller body size, it is recommended to secure the adjustment zipper and apply the cradling support seat to
use. (Adjustment zipper is normally open in cradle position.)
WARNING
In cradle position, make sure baby's head
is in a higher position than its feet, and
do support the baby's head with one hand.
Improper cradling may exhaust the baby
or become cause of injury.
Advice
It is recommended to set baby's head close
to parent's heart position.
After putting on shoulder strap, shorten the
side closer to the user and baby can be cradled
in a better balanced position.
When cradling baby by your own, it is
recommended to operate in front of a mirror
to check if baby's head is on the lower side.
Belt is regarded too long if the illustrated angle
of the supporting hand is bigger than 90
degree. Re-adjust the length with Combi ladder
buckle ➁on the waist belt.

Before securing crotch snaps,
tighten the waist belt and place
the belt ends and buckles properly.
4Release Velcro on ANYO RAKU
RAKU padard hooks.
Cradling support seat is already attached while in sales package. Follow the steps below to remove cradling support seat for washing, or
when changing to use in cuddle position.

Velcro When attaching cradling support seat, please
make sure attachment snaps and crotch snaps
are secured to prevent baby from accidentally
falling off while in use.

Adjust the length of the waist belt
●Close adjustment zipper to use
When baby is still small and there is not
much gap in between baby's armpit and
safety belt, close adjustment zipper and
secure adjustment snap to use. (For baby
below 6 months)
Preparation for cuddling
●Open adjustment zipper to use
When there is a gap of 4cm or more in
between baby's armpit and safety belt,
release the adjustment snap and adjustment
zipper to use.
●Remove cradling support seat after baby's
neck muscle has developed, and replace
it with head support.
(Baby whose neck muscle has developed
can use head support up to around 7
months)

There are 2 ways to cuddle a baby¨: ①seating baby first before putting on carrier, or ➁putting on carrier first before seating baby.
Please choose whichever way that suits your need.
Advice
※Release the adjustment zipper to use in
cradle position.
It is dangerous to keep the adjustment
zipper close even when there is a gap of
more than 4cm in between baby's armpit
and safety belt since baby may fall off from
carrier while in use.
Attached status
※Head support is washable.
If safety belt is too tight against baby's armpit even when adjustment zipper is closed, put
few pieces of napkin or towel on the seat before seating the baby to raise baby's sitting
position.

falling off the carrier. Make sure to adjust the waist belt such that belt
ends on both sides are in same length.
•Check to make sure "side lock", "side
snap" and "safety buckle" are secured
to prevent baby from accidentally falling
off while in use.
•Try to tighten "safety belt" and "waist
belt" as much as possible to use.Acarrier
that is too loose or a carrier of which belt
ends are in different length may cause
baby fall off the carrier upon its sudden
and unexpected movement.
•Seat baby at a safe place. (It is
recommended to have a third person to
assist the operation.) Seating or
unseating baby at an unsafe place may
cause baby to fall off from the carrier.

as shown or leave it open.

It is suggested to place baby on a bed first and
then lean forward to the baby for operation.
Refer to "To seat baby whose neck muscle is
yet to develop" (P.7~8) for how to secure side
lock, side snap and safety buckle, and also the
way to adjust safety belt length.
To secure head support hooks
Lift head support hook and place it above hook
attachment ring. Press the front end of the hook
until it clicks into place.

Putting on carrier before seating baby

Put on shoulder strap and cross hands
to the back to secure Combi buckle until
a "click" sound is heard..

carrier from either side while holding the
baby with on hand.

Adjust waist belt length
Store Combi buckle into shoulder strap and adjust
waist belt with Combi ladder buckle ➁to fit user. ●To adjust

As baby is not seen in back-carry position, it is recommended to unseat baby and
check baby's status once every 30 mins.
Advice
Waist belt is made
twisted to better fit
user's body.
Please try to tighten waist belt as
much as possible to use. After
adjustment, Combi ladder buckle ➁
should be located at around upper
waist of user. If the gap between user
and baby is too large or too loose,
it may cause baby to fall off carrier
while in use.
