*The illustrations used in this manual may differ slightly from the real product.
The Combi ANGEL WAGON AW Series (referred to as “the Product” in this manual) is a shopping cart for
babies intended to be used inside supermarket, shop or any other public facility.
The user may carry one infant or toddler in the cart and use it in the area with even oor.
See page 8 for the inspection procedures.

The strength of the Product may decrease, which may cause an accident.

lCarry out daily inspection, and periodic inspection once every 6 months to
ensure safety.
If the inspections are not carried out, degradation or damage of the Product may not be
discovered, which may cause injuries or serious accidents.
lDo not use the Product for a different purpose, such as carrying heavy loads.

lRemove any damaged Product.
If a user uses a damaged Product by mistake, or if a child plays with it, it may result in an injury
or a serious accident.
If the Product is not used in compliance with the content of this instruction manual, it may cause a risk of injury

and Cautions depending on the severity of the risk. Read these guidelines before use and follow them to

The Product is a shopping cart with children’s seat. Wipe it regularly to keep it clean.
Clean also the Product after carrying out an inspection or part replacement not to leave the dirt generated by
such work.
*The seat unit consists of the seat and the guard.
Note: Maintenance parts are parts intended to be replaced periodically, such as the headrest, the casters and the stickers.
Note: Product specications are subject to change without notice.
Note: When disposing of the product, use an appropriate method according to the local legislation on waste disposal.
Note: Product dimensions and weight are approximate values.
l To clean the Product, wipe it with a dampened cloth with
diluted neutral detergent, then wipe with a dampened
cloth with water, and finally wipe with a dry cloth to
completely remove remaining detergent and water.
Use only neutral detergent for cleaning. (Other
detergents may damage the plastic parts causing
degradation, discoloration or cracks.)

How to Use

Use the Product correctly by following the warning instructions.
<When using the casters for escalator ramps>
lDo not remove your hands from the handle bar.
lDo not use the Product on an uneven oor.
The Product may tip over and your child may fall or cause severe injury.
lLeave a space of at least two meters between your cart and the cart in front of you.
The Product may hit another cart and tip over, which may cause your child to fall or cause severe injury.
lWhen exiting from escalator ramp, push the Product to exit the ramp.
If you do not push the Product to exit, the Product may tip over and your child may fall or cause severe injury.
Warnings
Note: Basket dimensions differ from the following cannot be placed in the bottom basket space.
l Length 410 to 510 mm, width 300 to 360 mm, height 250 mm or less
l Length 460 to 510mm, width 340 to 360mm, Height 270mm or less
lDo not leave child unattended.
Child may fall or cause severe injury.
lIn AW4 series, do not recline the seat if the child’s head exceeds the height of seatback.
It may lead to accidents such as the child’s head hitting the wall or the in-store display.
lBe sure to tighten the guard during use.
An unexpected accident may occur when it is pushed while child is leaned forward.
lDo not use the Product on escalators or escalator ramps*.
(*Except the cart is equipped with escalator ramp casters.)
The product may tip over or cause an unexpected accident.
lDo not allow child stand on the Product or play with it.
Child may fall or cause severe injury.
lDo not press down seatback strongly.

lDo not place your child or any luggage onto the seatback.

Inspection Manual
Depending on the inspection results, it may be necessary to replace a part. Note: Spare parts can be stored
for 5 years after the last production date.
Periodic Inspection
Each part of the Product is inspected using
tools once every 6 months. Once every 6 months
Daily inspection is carried out by visual and
touching the Product. No tool is required.

This manual describes the necessary daily and periodic
inspection procedures required to mamtain safty and
comfort of the Combi ANGEL WAGON AW Series.
Make sure to carry out the daily inspection procedures daily or
weekly and the periodic inspection procedures once every 6
months correctly following the procedures in the manual.

After a periodic inspection, in addition to lling the
following check sheet, write the date of the inspection
on the “Inspection record sticker” stuck on the rear
cover.
You may also order additional inspection stickers (for a
fee) if needed.
Remove the red screw cap at the bottom of
the coin lock to reach to the locking key xing
screw.
Slide the coin lock body in the direction of the arrow and
remove it from the part xed to the handle to reach to the
coin lock xing screw.

Part Replacement Procedures
In case you nd a problem during the daily or periodic inspection and you need to replace a part,
read carefully the following replacement procedure to carry out the replacement properly.
The tools required for the caster
replacement procedure differ
depending on the caster type.

1 Standard (ø100) *Low noise
*The same procedure applies to antistatic casters
(ø100), since they have the same shape.
2 With stoppers (ø100)
3 For escalator ramps (ø100)
4 For escalator ramps (ø125)
Caster Replacement Procedure
l Tighten the caster at a minimum torque of 42 N·m. If the casters are loose, they
will detach from the cart, which may lead to an injury or a serious accident.
Note: If you do not have a torque wrench, tighten the casters strongly using a
wrench with a handle of 250 mm or more in length.
lAlways inspect the new part after replacement following the periodic inspection
procedure.
l After installing a new caster, always check that it can change the direction easily
and the wheel rotates smoothly.
l After installing a new caster, always check that the caster cover rotates without
problem.
lAlways replace the right and left casters together.

1. While holding the hex cap nut in place with the wrench (19
mm), rotate the bolt counterclockwise using the other wrench
(19 mm).
2. Remove the caster and the washer.
