ThisThermometerisa highqualityproductincorporatingthelatesttechnoiogyand
testedinaccordancewithinternationalstandards.Withitsuniquetechnoiogy,the
ThisThermometercanprovidea stable,heat-interference-freereadingwitheach
measurement.
Theinstrumentperformsa self-testeverytimeitisswitchedontoaiwaysguarantee
thespecifiedaccuracyofmeasurement.
ThisThermometerallowsa simpleandquickmeasurementofbodytempérature.
Pleasekeepinmindthat,likeanyskintempérature, thetempératureattheforehead
andtemporalareamightdifferfromthecorebodytempérature(e.g.obtainedby
rectalmeasurement).Forexamplea basicphysiologieeffectcalledvasoconstriction
canoccurintheearlystagesoffever,resultingina coolskineffect,sotherecorded
températureusinga foreheadthermometermaybesuspiciousiylow.Ifthe
measurementresuitisnotconsistentwiththepatient'sfindingorsuspiciousiylow,
repeatthemeasurementevery15minutes.

mayvaryfromdifférentlocations.
•Inthefollowingsituations,itisrecommendedtoperforma référencemeasurement
witha commonpen-typethermometer.
