The Mini Handsfree series is comprised of hands-free monitors that can be used in “Building Kit” (exclusively 2 wire), Simplebus Top
and Kit Video systems.
• Article 6721W is a colour monitor equipped as standard with 5 buttons (3 additional buttons can be added with the
accessory Art. 6734W)
• Article 6721W/BM is a colour monitor equipped as standard with 5 buttons (3 additional buttons can be added with the
accessory Art. 6734W) and magnetic induction audio amplification. Not supplied with backplate 6710.

Description of buttons
Indicator LED description
fPress the desired button once to activate the associated function.
Wait for approximately 1 sec. before pressing the same button again.
AUDIO ACTIVATION KEY
Press the button to answer an incoming call.
HANDS-FREE MODE ACTIVATION/DEACTIVATION
On receipt of a call, the audio will be activated automatically.
fA long press enables/disables the Hands-Free mode (10 s.)
LOCK RELEASE KEY
Use this key to open the corresponding door lock.
ACTUATOR KEY (programmable*)
Allows activation of the associated relay.
SELF-IGNITION KEY (programmable*)
Allows ignition of the external video unit, and therefore viewing of the external image.
PRIVACY KEY
The ringtone will be silenced on receipt of a call from the external unit and from the switchboard.
ADDITIONAL KEYS
Art. 6734W Additional buttons kit - can be purchased separately.
(*) Buttons may be programmed as:
• DOCTOR MODE ACTIVATION KEY
Allows automatic operation of the associated lock-release on receipt of a call from an external unit.
fTo activate/deactivate the Doctor mode, press the button programmed for this function.
• INTERCOM CALL KEY
Allows a call from one internal unit to one or more internal units.
• CALL TO A MAIN OR SECONDARY SWITCHBOARD KEY
• PRIORITY CALL TO SWITCHBOARD (“PAN”) KEY
• CALL TO CARETAKER DOOR-ENTRY PHONE KEY
FLASHING LED: incoming call
STEADY LED (during call): audio activated
STEADY LED (when idle): Hands-Free mode activated
FLASHING LED: call in progress
1 flash after pressing button: confirms door opening
slow flashing: door open
FLASHING LED: device in programming mode
4 flashes: system engaged
STEADY LED: Privacy mode activated
3 flashes (every 5 sec): Doctor mode activated

Connections
20 m MAX - Use shielded cable for the connection and do not route the cables in the vicinity of heavy inductive loads
or power supply cables (230V/400V).
Where multiple door-entry phones or monitor backplates have the same user code, connect the CFP button on one
only; all the devices will ring simultaneously.

Power supply configuration and management
Configuration of main and secondary internal units
fFor correct power management, the DIP 7 of S2 should be set in accordance with the type of system and its configuration:
• in systems with power supply units 1209 and 1210: always set the DIP 7 of S2 to ON
• in systems with power supply unit 4888C: for secondary internal units, always set the DIP 7 of S2 to OFF, for main
internal units, follow the indications given in the examples in the figure below:
A. 1 main internal unit
B. 2 main internal units
In systems with Art. 1209 or Art. 1210, you can configure a maximum of 1 main monitor, while in systems with Art.
4888C you can configure a maximum of 2 main monitors.

By default the buttons control the functions in row A(“Basic configuration” table).
It is possible to change the default configuration of the keys by changing the positions of the S2 DIP switches 1-2-3-4 on the rear
of the monitor to one of the combinations (B-P) proposed in the table. All the keys will change function.
