Thank you for purchasing the hands free kit HFX-700W!
This intercom system uses 2-wire installation and allows you to identify and communicate
with callers at the door, from the security and convenience of any room in your home or
office.
Visitors activate the system by pressing a call pad on the external unit, which sounds a
doorbell chime as well as turning on the inside "hands free video door entry monitor".
A two-way intercom then lets you speak with visitors after first visually identifying them.
By installing and configuring the COMELIT App on smartphone/tablet it is possible to
answer video door entry calls from a local and remote network (or mobile network); in
addition it is possible to make a Self activation on cameras/entrance panels and send
commands to actuator modules.
HFX-700W kit consists of a hands free door entry monitor station and an external unit.
This kit is capable of expanding up to a total of 4 indoor door entry monitors and 4 external
units.

When used in conjunction with the Comelit app (available to download free of charge from Google Play or App Store) and/or the voice assistants
Alexa/Eco Show/Google Assistant, it can be used to answer calls directly from your smartphone/tablet/assistants, both locally and remotely.
Can be used to enable the “Face recognition” function *
• to send the lock-release (enabled by default) and/or actuator command automatically on recognition of a subject
• to receive notification when a known person makes a call
* Face recognition on the Mini Hands-Free Wi-Fi door entry monitor is based on a 2D geometric measurement
which maps the face, identifying the position of the features (eyes, nose, mouth...) and measuring the distance
between them. This technology can be used to open doors and gates in busy areas, however it does not
guarantee the highest security level.

2.2.1 Capacitive-touch key description
SPEAKER AND AUDIO ACTIVATION KEY / PAGING CALL KEY / HANDS-FREE MODE ACTIVATION KEY
Answer call
Can be used to activate a conversation with the external unit or to end a conversation.
Paging call
Internal paging function: can be used to make a paging call to the internal units with the same user code.
General paging to another user code: can be used to make a paging call to the internal units with another user code.
Hands-Free mode
On receipt of a call the audio will be activated automatically.
LOCK-RELEASE KEY
can be used to activate the lock-release relay
ACTUATOR [programmable]
Generic actuator function: can be used to activate the relay for a generic actuator installed within the system.
Coded actuator function: can be used to activate the relay for a specific actuator installed within the system.
SELF ACTIVATION [programmable]
Can be used to receive images from the main external unit cameras (press the key again to cycle through several external unit
[programmable]
AUTOMATIC LOCK-RELASE (DOCTOR MODE) [programmable]
can be used to enable automatic activation of the lock-release in response to a call from the external unit.

Before definitive installation of the door entry monitors, make sure the device has good Wi-Fi signal reception; the
distance between the router and door entry monitors, and the construction materials used in the walls are factors
that can aect signal quality.
The Wi-Fi signal is not strong enough to guarantee correct operation. A Wi-Fi repeater must be installed between
the router and door entry monitor in order to boost the Wi-Fi signal received by the door entry monitor.
