GasredsteamhumidiersCondair GS...OCareintendedexclusivelyforhumidica-
tioninventilationsystemswithinthespeciedoperatingconditions. Any other type
ofapplication,withoutthewrittenconsentofyourCondairsupplier,isconsideredasnot
conformingwiththeintendedpurpose.Themanufacturer/suppliercannotbemadeliable
for any damages resulting from improper use. The user bears full responsibility.
Operationoftheequipmentintheintendedmannerrequiresthatalltheinformationin
these instructions is observed (in particular the safety instructions).
General safety instructions
– Thelocalguidelinesandregulationsfortheinstallationandoperationofgasred
equipment(steamhumidiers)mustbeadheredtowithoutreservation.
– AllpersonsworkingwiththeCondairGS...OChumidiermustobserveandcomply
withallinformationandsafetyinstructionscontained in the present Installation,
commissioning and service instructions.
Iftheinformationinthismanualisnotfollowedexactly,areorexplosionmay
resultcausingpropertydamage,personalinjuryorlossoflife.
– Caution!Whattodoifyousmellgas:
Do not try to light any appliance. Do nottouchanyelectricalswitch;do not use any
telephone in your building. Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor’s tel
ephone.Followthegassupplier’sinstructions.Ifyoucannotreachyourgassupplier,
calltheredepartment.
– Do notstoreorusegasolineorotherammablevaporsandliquidsinthevicinityof
this or any other appliance.
–Warning! Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service, maintenance, or use
cancausecarbonmonoxidepoisoning,anexplosion,re,electricalshock,orother
conditionswhichmaycausepersonalinjuryorpropertydamage.
Refertothismanual.Forassistanceoradditionalinformationconsultaqualiedinstaller,
service agency, local gas supplier, or your distributor or branch.
–Warning! Should overheating occur, or the gas fail to shut off, shut off the manual gas
valve to the appliance before shutting off the electrical supply.
–Warning! Do not use this appliance if any part has been exposedtoexcesshumidity.
Immediatelycallaqualiedservicetechniciantoinspecttheapplianceandtoreplace
anypartofthecontrolsystemandanygascontrolwhichhasbeenunderwater.
– The Condair GS...OC humidier must only be installed, operated, and serviced by
personsfamiliarwiththeproductandsufcientlyqualiedfortherespectivetask.It is
the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the present Installation, commissioning and
service instructionsissupplementedbyinternalinstructionswithrespecttosupervisory
andnoticationliability,workingmethods,personnelqualications,etc.
– Anopenunit must not be operated. Before putting the Condair GS...OC humidier
intooperationmakesureall panels are closed and locked with the screw or the
brackets respectively.
– Donotcarryoutanyoperationsforwhichyouarenotsufcientlyqualiedorunfamiliar
withtheconsequences.Incaseofdoubt,contactyoursupervisororCondairsupplier
beforehand.
