Introduction
The Open Protocol readers from Conlan are used mostly as personal identication for
access, for processing, for security etc.
All readers are equiped with a 2,5m 8 core cable.
Installation
Mount the reader on a even surface.
Connect the wires to power supply, door strike, assembly board etc.
Conlan reader options:
All communications to/from the reader over the 485 commands can activate the out-
put (500 mA). The 2 outputs can i.e. be for the door and for the alarm.
The 2 inputs can be used to view the status of the door. The exit button is controlled
by 485-communication and from your controller you can manage all settings.

Setup
The 3001 Conlan protocol can be dened and customised on request - to that there is
also a test program. The program is event controlled on Baud rate 19200.
The 3002 OSDP protocol which we manage both for the secure channels with 128 bit
AES encrypted, and the not encrypted version. The controller is polling the reader and
work on Baud rate 38400. On request you can use a test program.
The 3003 MODBUS protocol is mostly used in the automation industry in cooperation
with PLL. Works as standard on baud rate 19200.
Available readers with open protocol
CP: Combined keypad and proximity reader (Atmel and Emarine).
CB: Combined keypad and Bluetooh reader.
CM: Combined keypad and Mifare reader.
M: Mifare reader.
P: Proximity reader (Atmel and Emarine).
D: Display for status and event indications.

The Conlan readers work together with dierent tags/cards such as:
EM4102
Atmel
ISO 14443A Mifare Ultralight, Mifare Plus, Mifare Classic, Mifare Desre
(proximity cards).
ISO 14443B Pass port, Garman ID cards (proximity cards).
ISO 15693 ICODE, iClass, Skidata (vicinity cards).
