1. Remove your stock seat. Refer to your
owner’s manual if necessary.
2. To install the seat without heater unit, install
the latch pin and latch pin cup on the rear fender,
using a 7/16 open wrench (Figure 1), then slide
the nose of the seat into position and lower the
seat onto the latch pin until you hear (and feel) it
"Click".
Heater Installation:
1. If you ordered the heated model, we also
included a wiring harness and fuse adapter that
hooks into your stock fuse box, so start by
removing your right side cover to gain access to
the fuse box.
2. Unbolt the stock ground wire, using a 10mm
socket wrench (Figure 2). Route the ground wire
on the supplied wiring harness under the frame
and place it onto the stock ground wire and
secure with the stock bolt (Figure 3).
3. Locate the fuse box and remove the 10amp
clock fuse position (Figure 4), using needle nose
pliers (Figure 5) and insert the fuse into the
supplied adapter at the end of the wiring harness
(Figure 6), then Insert the adapter into the fuse
box into the space previously occupied by the 10
amp clock fuse (Figure 7).

4. The fuse box cover won’t close because of the
fuse adapter, so close the fuse box cover loosely
(Figure 8) then cover the entire fuse box with the
rain cover (Figure 9).
5. Connect the wiring harness to the fuse
adapter (Figure 10) and route the harness under
the frame.
6. Leaving approximately 15 inches of loose
wiring, tie the excess with the provided zip ties and
secure it neatly out of the way before mounting the
seat to prevent potential damage (Figure 11)
.Do
not tighten excessively or you may damage the
wiring... just secure it in place for cleanliness.
7. Plug wire harness into the seat and test. To do
this, just plug the harness into the seat
(Figure 12), turn on your ignition switch and flip
the switch on the saddle. If the switch illuminates,
the saddle heater is working.
9. Proceed with saddle mounting as outlined
above.
Enjoy your new saddle!
NOTE: The heater is controlled by the switch
along the side the saddle. The temperature is
regulated by an internal thermostat when the
heater switch is turned on.
