1. Attach the included mounting bracket.
Mounting the CEN-NVS200

1. In the Crestron Toolbox™ Device Discovery Tool, select
Crestron CEN-NVS200. The CEN-NVS200 home page will
open.

NOTE: The CEN-NVS200 must be installed in a temperature-controlled environment ranging from 32
°
to 131
°
F (0
°
to 55
°
C).
If necessary, use the supplied BNC to RCA adapter to connect
the camera.
2. Mount the CEN-NVS200 on a flat surface or on a rack rail.

A. Access the Configuration Web Pages
CEN-NVS200 Home Page (Default)
2. Select Configuration. The “System” configuration page will
open (refer to section 3B).

1. On the “System” configuration page, modify the default host name,
CEN-NVS200, using a name that is meaningful for your
environment.
2. Configure DI (Digital Input) and DO (Digital Output) settings.
3. Click Save.

1. Click Security. The “Security” configuration page will open.
2. In the Admin Password pane, assign an administrator password,
then click Save at the bottom of the pane. A log-in window will open.
3. Enter admin as the user name, then enter the password assigned in step 2.
4. In the Manage User pane, create a user account with Privilege
set to Viewer, then click Add.

1. Click Network. The
“Network” configuration
page will open.
2. Configure a static IP
address and related
network information.
3. Click Save.
E. (Optional) Configure Camera Control Settings
1. In the column of options on
the left side of the page,
click Advanced Mode.
3. Click PTZ Camera, then
configure the camera
settings as required.
4. Click Save.

NOTE: For connection to a third-party PoE power source, refer to third-party device documentation.
NOTE: By default, the CEN-NVS200 uses DHCP. If DHCP is not available, the IP address defaults
to 169.254.0.99 and a subnet mask of 255.255.0.0 will be used. If another device uses that
address, another address in the local link address space is selected (169.254.xxx.xxx).

To add the CEN-NVS200 to your Crestron®system, perform the steps in Option 1 or Option 2:
● Option 1 uses Crestron VisionTools®(VT Pro-e®) programming and provides streaming video capabilities only.
● Option 2 uses both SIMPL™ Windows and VT Pro-e programming and provides streaming video, touchpanel control of PTZ cameras, control system response for digital I/O, motion detection and video detection.
Option 1: VT Pro-e Programming Only
1. In the ProjectView tab for the touchpanel, open the Embedded Applications
folder, then double-click MJPEG Viewer to open the “MJPEG Viewer
Embedded Application Properties” window.
2. Click the Camera Controls tab.
3. Enter the IP address, port number and HTTP command into the
appropriate fields, then click OK.
4. Save the project.
NOTE: For the HTTP command, enter the viewer name and viewer password
assigned when creating a viewer user account in section , step C4 on the
reverse side of this guide. For example, if the viewer name is MyViewer and the
password is viewmycamera, enter the following:

Option 2: SIMPL Windows and VT Pro-e Programming
SIMPL Windows Programming
1. Drag the CEN-NVS200 from the Ethernet Control Modules | Ethernet Video Modules folder
of the Device Libary and drop it in the System Views.

2. Double-click the CEN-NVS200 in the system tree to open the “Device Settings” window, then set the IP
address of the CEN-NVS200 (use the IP address set in section , step D2).
If desired, also change the IP ID of the CEN-NVS200.

CEN-NVS200.
4. In the Detail View, enter data into
the following text boxes:
● Admin_Password

5. Connect the CEN-NVS200 module outputs (Video_Server_Port_Number, NVS200_IP_Address,
NVS200_Stream2_HTTP_Command and all others required for your application) to the touchpanel definition.

1. In the ProjectView tab for the touchpanel,

then double-click MJPEG Viewer to
open the “MJPEG Viewer Embedded
Application Properties” window.
2. Click the Camera Controls tab.
3. In the IP Address, Port # and HTTP
Command panes, set the join numbers
using the same numbers assigned (in
“SIMPL Windows Programming” step 5,
above) in the SIMPL Windows program,
then click OK.
4. Save the project.
NOTE: The URL will change depending on which video is desired. URLs can
be found on the “System” configuration page.
