Safety Instructions

CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY!
• Check the goggles for any damage before each use. Discontinue use of
the goggles if you discover any damage.
• Do not expose the goggles to extreme temperatures or extreme mechanical
stress.
• Only use the goggles on the surface of the water. Please use a diving mask
for diving.
• The maximum permitted jumping height wearing goggles is 1m.
• Children should only use the goggles under adult supervision.
• Never pull the eye cups on the goggles away from the face as they could
spring back and cause injury to the eyes.
• Discontinue use of the goggles if you experience eye or skin irritation.
• Avoid looking directly into the sun while wearing the goggles.
• Remove the goggles immediately if water has entered the eye cup and
wear them again so that they are watertight.
• Discontinue use of the goggles if the lenses are damaged, the headband
becomes brittle or damaged, or the body of the goggles is defective.
• For your safety we recommend replacing the goggles after 5 years of use.
• It is not permitted to wear the goggles in traffic.
• Any handling of the goggles assumes exact knowledge of and adherence
to the operating instructions.

The goggles IAN 273845 with transparent lenses comply with protection level
(filter category) 0. Those with blue-tinted lenses comply with protection level
(filter category) 1. Note: In the L-XL sizes they meet the protection level (filter
category) 2. Those with mirrored lenses comply with protection level (filter
category) 3.

Putting on swim goggles
• Using both hands, hold the swim goggles in front of your face with the lenses
in your palms and the strap around the back of your hands (see fig. A).
• Place the lenses over the eyes.
• Now carefully pull the straps over your head and across the back of your
head (see fig. B).
Note: Be sure at the front of the head the strap runs at an angle of approx.
45° to the crown of your head. This will prevent water from entering.
• If necessary, adjust the fit of the strap (see fig. C).
Adjust headband (figure D)
The headband lies on the back of the head as a double band in order to
position the goggles optimally. Adjust the headband in such a way that it is
comfortable and cannot slide out of place:
1. Pull the end of the headband (1b) and the headband (1) out of the adjust-
ment clip (1a) in order to set the headband to the desired length.
2. Hook the headband and the end of the headband back into the adjustment
clip so that the headband stays at the desired length.
Change nose bridge
Optimum goggle fit is achieved with the correct size of nose bridge. To select
the correct nose bridge put the goggles on and test whether the eye cups are
comfortable and achieve a good seal. If this is not the case then remove the
goggles and change the nose bridge as follows:
1. Hold one eye cup with one hand and use the other hand to pull the end of
the nose bridge out of the edge of the eye cup.
2. Repeat this removal procedure on the other side.
3. Insert the desired size of nose bridge into the correct holes on the eye cups.
4. Put the goggles back on and check that the goggles fit correctly.
Repeat the process to change the nose bridge until the goggles feel comforta-
ble and fit exactly.
Removing water
Hold both lenses with your hands and carefully tip upward to allow water to drain.
Removing swim goggles
Slide your thumbs under the strap at both sides of the head. Move the thumbs to
the back of your head and remove the strap from the back of the head forward,
across the forehead.
Cleaning and care
• Do not allow lenses to come into contact with grease.
• After each use clean the swim goggles with fresh water.
• Never rub or wipe the inside of the lenses to prevent damage to the anti-fog
coating.
• Store swim goggles inside the storage bag when not in use.
Disposal
Please dispose of the product and packaging in an environmentally friendly
manner, separating different materials for recycling as required! Dispose of
this item through an authorised disposal company or through your local waste
disposal facilities - ask your local authority for information if further guidance is
required. Ensure that you comply with all regulations currently in force.

The product was produced with great care and under constant supervision. You
receive a three-year warranty for this product from the date of purchase. Please
retain your receipt. The warranty applies only to material and workmanship
and does not apply to misuse or improper handling. Your statutory rights,
especially the warranty rights, are not affected by this warranty. With regard to

• Prüfen Sie die Schwimmbrille vor jeder Benutzung auf evtl. Beschädigungen.
Verwenden Sie die Schwimmbrille nicht mehr, wenn Sie Beschädigungen
feststellen.
• Setzen Sie die Schwimmbrille keinen extremen Temperaturen oder starken
mechanischen Beanspruchungen aus.
• Verwenden Sie die Schwimmbrille nur an der Wasseroberfläche. Zum
Tauchen verwenden Sie bitte eine Tauchermaske.
• Die maximal erlaubte Sprunghöhe mit angelegter Schwimmbrille beträgt 1 m.
• Kinder sollten die Schwimmbrille nur unter Aufsicht Erwachsener benutzen.
• Ziehen Sie niemals die Augenschalen der Schwimmbrille vom Gesicht weg,
da diese zurückschnellen und eine Verletzung der Augen auslösen können.
• Verwenden Sie die Schwimmbrille nicht mehr, sollten Augen- oder Hautrei-
zungen auftreten.
• Vermeiden Sie es, mit der Schwimmbrille direkt in die Sonne zu schauen.
• Nehmen Sie die Schwimmbrille sofort ab, wenn Wasser eingedrungen ist,
und sorgen Sie durch erneutes Platzieren für einen dichten Sitz.
• Verwenden Sie die Schwimmbrille nicht mehr, wenn die Brillengläser beschä-
digt sind, das Kopfband spröde bzw. beschädigt ist oder der Brillenkörper
defekt ist.
• Zu Ihrer Sicherheit empfehlen wir, die Schwimmbrille nach einer Benutzung
von 5 Jahren auszutauschen.
• Die Schwimmbrille darf nicht im Straßenverkehr benutzt werden.
• Jede Handhabung der Schwimmbrille setzt die genaue Kenntnis und Beach-
tung der Bedienungsanleitung voraus.

entsprechen der Schutzstufe (Filterkategorie) 3.

Das CE Zeichen bestätigt die Konformität mit der

Schwimmbrille aufsetzen
• Halten Sie die Schwimmbrille mit beiden Händen vor das Gesicht. Die Brillen-
gläser liegen dabei in den Handinnenflächen und das Kopfband über dem
Handrücken (siehe Abb. A).
• Platzieren Sie die Brillengläser auf den Augen.
• Ziehen Sie nun vorsichtig das Kopfband hinter den Hinterkopf (siehe Abb. B).
Hinweis: Achten Sie darauf, dass das Kopfband am Vorderkopf in einem Winkel
von ca. 45° zum Scheitel verläuft. So verhindern Sie das Eindringen von Wasser.
• Korrigieren Sie ggf. den Sitz des Kopfbandes (siehe Abb. C).
Kopfband anpassen (Abb. D)
Das Kopfband liegt am Hinterkopf als doppeltes Band, um die Schwimmbrille
optimal zu platzieren. Stellen Sie das Kopfband so ein, dass es bequem sitzt
und nicht verrutscht:
1. Ziehen Sie die Enden des Kopfbandes (1b) und das Kopfband (1)
aus der Verstellklemme (1a), um das Kopfband auf die gewünschte
Länge anzupassen.
2. Haken Sie das Kopfband und das Ende des Kopfbandes wieder in
die Verstellklemme, damit das Kopfband in der gewünschten Länge
bleibt.
Nasensteg austauschen
Die optimale Passform der Schwimmbrille wird durch die entsprechende Größe
des Nasenstegs erreicht. Um den passenden Nasensteg auszuwählen, setzen
Sie die Schwimmbrille auf und überprüfen Sie, ob die Augenschalen bequem
und dicht sitzen. Sollte dies nicht der Fall sein, nehmen Sie die Schwimmbrille
ab und tauschen Sie den Nasensteg wie folgt aus:
1. Halten Sie eine Augenschale mit der einen Hand fest und ziehen Sie
mit der anderen Hand das Nasenstegende aus dem Rand der
Augenschale heraus.
2. Wiederholen Sie das Herausziehen mit der anderen Seite.
3. Stecken Sie gewünschte Nasensteggröße in die dafür vorgesehenen
Löcher der Augenschalen.
4. Setzen Sie die Schwimmbrille erneut auf und überprüfen Sie den
korrekten Sitz der Schwimmbrille.
Wiederholen Sie das Austauschen des Nasenstegs bis die Schwimmbrille
angenehm und passgenau sitzt.
