ThankyouforpurchasingtheBH13.TogetherwithBluetooth

mobilephonesandotherBluetooth embeddeddevices,The
BluetoothheadsetBH13allows youfreedomtomakeandreceive
callswhileonthemoveorintheoffice ,Youcanconnecttheheadset
toacompatiblephonethatsupports Bluetooth wireless technology.
Pleasereadtheuser manualtomakethebestuseofthisBH13
Headsetand its manyfeatures.
Bluetooth wireless technology
Bluetoothwirelesstechnologymakesitpossibletoconnect
compatiblecommunicationdeviceswithoutusingcables.A
Bluetoothconnection doesnotrequire thatthephoneandthe
headsetbein lineofsight,butboth devicesshould bewithin 10
meters(30feet)ofeachother,Connections canbesubjectto
interference fromobstructions,suchaswallsorotherelectronic
devices.
TheheadsetiscompliantwithBluetooth Specification2.0
supportingthefollowingprofiles:Headsetprofiles1.1and
Hands-Free Profiles1.5checkwith themanufacturesofother
devicestodeterminetheircompatibilitywith this device .
TheremayberestrictionsonusingBluetoothtechnologyinsome

2.Getstarted
Overview
Theheadsetcontains thefollowingparts asshownin thefingure:

(3)Volume up and volume downbuttons
(4)Microphone
(5)Earphone
(6)Charger socket
Before youcanstartusingtheheadset,youmustchargethebattery
and pairtheheadsetwith acompatiblephone.
Note:Partsoftheheadsetaremagnetic,Metallicmaterialsmaybe
attractedtotheheadset.Do notplacecreditcardsorothermagnetic
storagemedianear theheadset,becauseinformation storedonthem

maybeerased.
Chargerand batteries
Yourheadsetusesarechargeablebattery.Youmust chargethe
batteryfullybefore usingtheheadsetforthefirst time.
SimplypluginprovidedUSB cabletoUSB portthentoUSB Car
ChargerAdaptor/Notebook Computer/DesktopComputer.Headset
will startcharging.Theredindicatorofheadsetwill turnonwhen
charging.Whenthebatteryisfull,theredindicatoroftheheadset
will turnoff.
1)Chargetheheadsetuntiltheredlight ontheheadsetturnoff.
2)Theheadsetwill befullychargedin approximately1hour.
3)RemovetheUSB cablefromthechargingsocket. .
Thefullychargedbatteryhaspower forupto4hoursoftalk-time or
upto200hoursofstandbytime.However,thetalk andstandby
timesmayvarywhenusedwith differentmobilephones,products
thatuseaBluetoothconnection,usagesettings,usagestyles,and
environments.
Whenthebatteryis runningoutofpower,theredindicatorlight
starts toflash.
IMPORTANT:The headset cannotbe used whilecharging.

Switch the headset onoroff
Toswitchon,pressandhold theAnswer/endkeyfor3seconds.The
blueindicatorlight starts toflash.
Toswitchoff,pressandholdthepower keyfor4secondsuntil
headsetbeeps 2timesand theredindicatorlight is displayedbriefly.
Pairthe headset with acompatiblephone
1.makesure yourheadsetis turnoff
2.pushtheanswer/endkeyfor8seconduntiltheblueandredlight
flashesalternately
3.ActivatetheBluetoothfeature onthephone,andsetthephoneto
searchforBluetooth devices.Seetheuser guideofyourphone
forinstructions.
4.Selecttheheadset(BH13)fromthelist offound devices.
5.Enterthepasscode0000topairand connecttheheadsettoyour
phone.Insomephonesyoumayneedtomaketheconnection
separatelyafterpairing.Seetheuserguideofyourphonefor
details.Youonlyneedtopairtheheadsetwith yourphoneonce.
6.Ifthepairingis successful,theheadset sbluelightwill flash3
timesbrieflyforthefirsttime follow byasingleflashevery7
seconds.Theheadset snameappearsinthephonemenuwhere
youcanviewthecurrentlypairedBluetooth devices.

Disconnect the headset fromthe phone
Todisconnecttheheadsetfromyourphone(forexample,toconnect
thephonetoanother Bluetooth device), dooneofthefollowing:
Switchofftheheadset.
Disconnecttheheadsetin theBluetooth menu ofyourphone.
Movetheheadsetmore than10meters(30feet)awayfromthe
phone.
Youdonotneedtodeletethepairingwiththeheadsettodisconnect
it.
Reconnect the paired headset toyourphone
Toconnecttheheadsettoyourphone,switchontheheadset,make
theconnectionintheBluetoothmenu ofyourphone,orpressand
holdtheanswer/end key.
Youcansetyourphonetoconnectwiththeheadsetautomatically
whentheheadsetisswitchedon.Seetheuserguideofyourphone
fordetails.
Troubleshooting
If youcannotconnecttheheadsettoyourphone, doasfollows:
Ensurethattheheadsetis charged,switchedon,pairedwithand

connectedtoyourphone.
Ensure thattheBluetooth feature is activatedonyourphone.
Checkthattheheadsetis within 10 meter(30feet)ofyourphone
andthatthere are noobstructionsbetweentheheadsetand thephone,
suchaswallsorother electronicdevices.
3. Basicuse
Call handling
Tomakeacall
useyourphonein thenormalwaywhentheheadsetisconnectedto
yourphone.
Toansweracall
presstheanswer/endkey,orusethephonekeys.If theautomatic
answerfunction isseton,thephoneautomaticallyanswersthe
incomingcall after onering.
Toend acall
press theanswer/end key, orusethephonekeys.
Redialthelastdialed
number
Ifyourphonesupportsredialingwith thisdevice, Pressandhold
Answer/endkeyfor2secondtoredialthelastdialednumber.

Voice dialing(dialinganumberbysayinganame)
Itispossibletomakeacalldirectlyfromtheheadsetusingvoice
recognition.Tousethisvoice dialingfunction,yourmobilephonemust
providethisoptionandcorrespondingvoice samplesmusthavebeen
recorded.
Step-1 Press theAnswer/endbuttonoftheheadsetonetime, youwillhear
abeepprompt.
Step-2 Whenyouhearashorttone,saythenameofthepersonyouwish
tocall loudly.
Adjusttheearphonevolume
Volumeup
Whileinconversation,presstheVOLUME+buttontoincreasethe
volume.
Volumedown
Whileinconversation,press theVOLUME-button todecreasethe
volume.
Switchthecall betweenphoneand headset

Duringaconversation,press andholdtheAnswer/end buttonfor3
Seconds,theBH13 will beswitchedoff and thecall will be
transferredtoyourmobilephone.If youwanttotransferthecall
backtoyourBH13pressand holdtheAnswer/end for3seconds till
youhear abeep.Releasethebuttonandthecall istransferredback
toyourBH13.
4. Batteryinformation
Yourdevice ispoweredbyarechargeablebattery.Thefull
performance ofanewbatteryis achievedonlyafter two orthree
completechargeanddischargecycles.Thebatterycanbecharged
anddischargedhundreds oftimes,butit will eventuallywear out.
Rechargeyourbatteryonlywithcompatiblechargersdesignatedfor
this device.
Unplugthecharger fromtheelectricalplugandthedevicewhennot
inuse.Do notleaveafullychargedbatteryconnectedtoacharger,
sinceoverchargingmayshortenitslifetime.If leftunused,afully
chargedbatterywill loseits chargeover time.
Never useanycharger thatis damaged.
Leavingthedevicein hot orcoldplaces,suchasin aclosedcarin

summerorwinter conditions, will reducethecapacityandlifetimeof
thebattery.Alwaystrytokeepthebatterybetween15℃and 25℃
(59℉and 77℉).Adevicewithahotorcoldbatterymaynotwork
temporarily,evenwhenthebatteryis fullycharged.Battery
performanceis particularlylimitedintemperatureswell below
freezing.
Do not disposeofbatteriesin afireastheymayexplode.Batteries
mayalsoexplodeifdamaged.Disposeofbatteriesaccordingtolocal
regulations.Pleaserecyclewhenpossible.Do not disposeas
householdwaste
5. Careand maintenance
Yourdeviceisaproductofsuperiordesign andcraftsmanshipand
should betreatedwith care.Thesuggestionsbelow will helpyou
protectyourwarrantycoverage.
Keepall accessoriesandenhancementsoutofthereachofsmall
children.
Keepthedevice dry.Precipitation,humidity,and all typesof
liquidsormoisturecancontainmineralsthatwill corrodeelectronic
circuits. If yourdevice doesgetwet, allow it todrycompletely.
