1.Introduction
TheBluetooth headsetEM700allowsyoufreedomtomakeand
receivecalls whileon themoveorin theoffice ,You canconnectthe
headsettoacompatiblephonethatsupportsBluetoothwireless
technology.
Readthis userguidecarefullybefore usingtheheadset.Readalso
theuserguideforyourphone,whichprovidesimportantsafetyand
maintenanceinformation.Keeptheheadsetoutofreachofsmall
children.
Bluetooth wireless technology
Bluetoothwirelesstechnologymakesitpossibletoconnect
compatiblecommunicationdeviceswithoutusingcables.A
Bluetoothconnection doesnotrequire thatthephoneandthe
headsetbeinlineofsight,butbothdevicesshouldbewithin 10
meters(30feet)ofeachother,Connections canbesubjectto
interference fromobstructions,suchaswallsorotherelectronic
devices.

Overview
Theheadsetcontains thefollowingparts asshownin thefingure:

Before youcanstartusingtheheadset,youmustchargethebattery
and pairtheheadsetwith acompatiblephone.

Note:Partsoftheheadsetaremagnetic,Metallicmaterialsmaybe
attractedtotheheadset.Do notplacecreditcardsorothermagnetic
storagemedianear theheadset,becauseinformation storedonthem
maybeerased.
Chargeand batteries
Yourheadsetusesarechargeablebattery.Youmust chargethe
batteryfullybefore usingtheheadsetforthefirst time.
SimplypluginprovidedUSB cabletoUSB portthentoUSB Car
ChargerAdaptor/Notebook Computer/DesktopComputer.Headset
will startcharging.Theredindicatorofheadsetwill turnonwhen
charging.Whenthebatteryisfull,theredindicatoroftheheadset
will turnoff.
1)Chargetheheadsetuntiltheredlight ontheheadsetturnoff.
2)Theheadsetwill befullychargedin approximately1hour.
3)RemovetheUSB cablefromthechargingsocket. .
Thefullychargedbatteryhaspower forupto4hoursoftalk-time or
upto200hoursofstandbytime.However,thetalk andstandby
timesmayvarywhenusedwith differentmobilephones,products
thatuseaBluetoothconnection,usagesettings,usagestyles,and
environments.
Whenthebatteryis runningoutofpower,theredindicatorlight
starts toflash.
Switchtheheadsetonoroff
Toswitchon,press andhold thepowerkeyfor3seconds.Theblue
indicatorlight starts toflash.
Toswitchoff,pressandholdthepower keyfor4secondsuntil
headsetbeeps 2timesand theredindicatorlight is displayedbriefly.
Pairtheheadsetwith acompatiblephone
1.makesure yourheadsetis turnoff
2.pushtheanswer keyfor8seconduntiltheblueandredlight
flashesalternately
3.ActivatetheBluetoothfeature onthephone,andsetthephoneto
searchforBluetooth devices.Seetheuser guideofyourphone
forinstructions.
4.Selecttheheadset(EM700)fromthelist offound devices.
5.Enterthepasscode0000topairand connecttheheadsettoyour
phone.Insomephonesyoumayneedtomaketheconnection
separatelyafterpairing.Seetheuserguideofyourphonefor

details.Youonlyneedtopairtheheadsetwith yourphoneonce.
6.Ifthepairingis successful,theheadset sbluelightwill flash3
timesbrieflyforthefirsttime follow byasingleflashevery7
seconds.Theheadset snameappearsinthephonemenuwhere
youcanviewthecurrentlypairedBluetooth devices.
Disconnecttheheadsetfromthephone
Todisconnecttheheadsetfromyourphone(forexample,toconnect
thephonetoanother Bluetooth device), dooneofthefollowing:
Switchofftheheadset.
Disconnecttheheadsetin theBluetooth menu ofyourphone.
Movetheheadsetmore than10meters(30feet)awayfromthe
phone.
Youdonotneedtodeletethepairingwiththeheadsettodisconnect
it.
Reconnectthepairedheadsettoyourphone
Toconnecttheheadsettoyourphone,switchontheheadset,make
theconnectionintheBluetoothmenu ofyourphone,orpressand
holdtheanswer/end key.
Youcansetyourphonetoconnectwiththeheadsetautomatically
whentheheadsetisswitchedon.Seetheuserguideofyourphone
fordetails.
Troubleshooting
If youcannotconnecttheheadsettoyourphone, doasfollows:
Ensurethattheheadsetis charged,switchedon,pairedwithand
connectedtoyourphone.
Ensure thattheBluetooth feature is activatedonyourphone.
Checkthattheheadsetis within 10 meter(30feet)ofyourphone
andthatthere are noobstructionsbetweentheheadsetand thephone,
suchaswallsorother electronicdevices.
3. Basicuse
Call handling
Tomakeacall,useyourphoneinthenormalwaywhentheheadset
is connectedtoyourphone.
Ifyourphonesupportsredialingwiththisdevice, press thevolume+

keyfor3seconds whilenocall is in progress.
Ifyourphonesupportsvoicedialingwiththisdevice,pressthe
answer/end keywhennocall isin progress,andproceedas
describedin theuser guideofyourphone.
Toansweracall,press theanswer/end key,orusethephonekeys.If
theautomaticanswerfunction is seton,thephoneautomatically
answerstheincomingcall after onering.
Toend acall, press theanswer/end key, orusethephonekeys.
Adjusttheearphonevolume
Press thevolumekeyuptoincreaseordown todecreasethevolume
duringacall.
4. Batteryinformation
Yourdevice ispoweredbyarechargeablebattery.Thefull
performance ofanewbatteryis achievedonlyafter two orthree
completechargeanddischargecycles.Thebatterycanbecharged
anddischargedhundreds oftimes,butit will eventuallywear out.
Rechargeyourbatteryonlywithcompatiblechargersdesignatedfor
this device.
Unplugthecharger fromtheelectricalplugandthedevicewhennot
inuse.Do notleaveafullychargedbatteryconnectedtoacharger,
sinceoverchargingmayshortenitslifetime.If leftunused,afully
chargedbatterywill loseits chargeover time.
Never useanycharger thatis damaged.
Leavingthedevicein hot orcoldplaces,suchasin aclosedcarin
summerorwinter conditions, will reducethecapacityandlifetimeof
thebattery.Alwaystrytokeepthebatterybetween15℃and 25℃
(59℉and 77℉).Adevicewithahotorcoldbatterymaynotwork
temporarily,evenwhenthebatteryis fullycharged.Battery
performanceis particularlylimitedintemperatureswell below
freezing.
Do not disposeofbatteriesin afireastheymayexplode.Batteries
mayalsoexplodeifdamaged.Disposeofbatteriesaccordingtolocal
regulations.Pleaserecyclewhenpossible.Do not disposeas
householdwaste.
5. Care and maintenance

Yourdeviceisaproductofsuperiordesign andcraftsmanshipand
should betreatedwith care.Thesuggestionsbelow will helpyou
protectyourwarrantycoverage.
Keepall accessoriesandenhancementsoutofthereachofsmall
children.
Keepthedevice dry.Precipitation,humidity,and all typesof
liquidsormoisturecancontainmineralsthatwill corrodeelectronic
circuits. If yourdevice doesgetwet, allow it todrycompletely.
Do not useorstore thedeviceindusty,dirtyareas.Itsmoving
parts and electroniccomponents canbedamaged.
Donotstorethedeviceinhot areas.High temperaturescan
shortenthelifeofelectronicdevices,damagebatteries,andwarpor
meltcertain plastics.
Donotstore thedeviceincoldareas.Whenthedevicereturnsto
itsnormaltemperature,moisture canform insidethedeviceand
damageelectroniccircuit boards.
Do notdrop,knock,orshakethedevice.Roughhandlingcan
breakinternalcircuit boards and finemechanics.
Do otuseharshchemicals,cleaningsolvents, orstrongdetergents
tocleanthedevice.
Donot paint thedevice.Paint canclog themovingparts and
