■Be sure that washer is grounded.
Toavoidelectricalshock,useametalpipefortheground
connection.
But,donotgroundthewasherwithgaspipesortelephone
linestoavoiddangersofexplosionorlightningstrike.
■Do not put your hands into the spin dryer
basket when it is spinning.
Your fingerscanbecaughtbyspinninglaundryand
damaged.
■Never allow children to operate or play
with the washer.
Childrenplayingwiththewashermayaccidentallyfallinto
thewashingtub.
■Disconnect the power cord from the power
supply when not in use.
■Ventilation openingsmustnotbeobstructedby
carpetingwhenthewashingmachineisinstalledona
carpetedfloor.
■If the supply cord ofthisapplianceisdamaged,it
shouldbereplacedbyarepairshopappointedby
manufacturer,becausespecialpurposetoolsarerequired.
■Turn off the SPIN Timer immediately whenthe
spindryermakesnoiseandvibrationexcessivelyduring
spinning.
■Don’t use excessively hot water.
(Below 50°C)
Plasticpartsmaybedeformedordamaged.
Also,clothingmaybedeformedordecolored.
■Before washing, check all pockets.
Ifnailsorpinsremaininpockets,theymaydamagethe
washerorclothes.
■Close the water tap a little if the water
pressure is too high.
■Be sure to cover with the safety cover on
laundry before spinning.
Thispreventslaundryfrombeingtossedoutanddamaged.
■To avoid water splashes, close the wash
tub lid.
■Never splash water on the control panel.

WASHING PROCEDURE
■TO WASH
!Before starting washing, check followings.
Laythedrainhosedowntowardasinkhole.
(IncaseofNODRAINPUMPmodel)
Placethedrainhoseinsinkorbath.
(IncaseofDRAINPUMPmodel)
Connectthepowercordtothepowersupplyoutlet.
@SettheWASH SELECTOR to“WASH · RINSE”.
#Fill water inthewashtubtothedesiredwater
leveland add detergent. (seepage5)
$Put laundry inthewashtub.
%SettheWASH TIMER 1~15minutes.
^After washing, settheWASH SELECTOR to“DRAIN”
fordrainandsettheTIMER tothepropertime.
■TO SPIN DRY
!Transfer the clothes into the spin basket and arrange it
evenly.
@
Be sure to put the safety cover and close the inner lid.
#Close the spin dryer lid.
$SettheSPIN SELECTOR to“SPIN”.
%SettheTIMER 1~5minutes.
■TO RINSE
!SettheWASH SELECTOR to“WASH · RINSE”.
@Supplytheproperamountofwaterasnottooverflow
thetopofthewashingtub.
#SettheTIMER 2~3minutes.
$Todrain the water, settheWASH SELECTOR to
“DRAIN” andsettheTIMER tothepropertime.
%Repeat this cycle untildrainwaterisclean.

■OVER FLOW RINSE
!SettheWASH SELECTOR to“WASH · RINSE”.

Keep suppling water. (Adjust water pressure to ensure that
the amount of supplied does not exceed the amount of drain.)
#SettheTIMER 6~8minutes.
$As soon as the TIMER shuts off or the rinsing
water become clear, turn off the water tap.
%Todrain the water, settheWASH SELECTOR to
“DRAIN” andsettheTIMER tothepropertime.

Leave some space.
Spaceatleast10cmbetweenthewasherandthewall.
Place washer on a sturdy and flat surface.
Ifthewasherisplacedonanunevenorweaksurface,
noiseorvibrationmaybeoccurred.
(Allowableinclinationismax.2°)
Never install the washer near water.
Donotplacethewasherinsteamyroomsorwherethe
washerisdirectlyexposedtorain.
Moisturemaydestroytheelectricalinsulationandcause
anelectricshockhazard.
Avoid direct sunlight or heating devices.
Asplasticandelectricalcomponentsareaffectedbydirect
heat,neverplacethewashernearheater,boilers,etc..
Donotplaceitunderdirectsunlight.
Avoid cold place.
Donotplaceorstorethewasherbelow0°C(32°F)toavoid
anydamagefromfreezing.

Slidethelegintothe
openingunderneaththebase,
andpush.
■INLET HOSE SETTING
Attachthewaterinlethosetothewaterinletpipe.
■DRAIN HOSE SETTING

Wipeofstainsonthecabinetandcontrolpanelwithsoft
cloth.
Donotusebenzene,thinner,cleanserorwax.

Insertyourfingerintohole“A”
andthenpulltheoverflowfilter
inthedirectionofarrowasshown
inthefigure.
■CLEANING THE WASH TUB
Fillwaterinthewashtubto“L”level,
andoperatingwashcyclefor
1~2minutes.
Afterwashingdrainwaterfrom
thewashtub.
Closethewashtublid.
