Precautionary Instructions
The precautionary instructions found in this section and throughout this manual are indicated by specific
symbols. Understand these symbols and their definitions before operating this equipment. The definition of
these symbols are as follows;
=CAUTION Text with a “CAUTION” indicator will explain possible
Safety infractions that could have the potential to cause minor to moderate injury or damage to
equipment.
=WARNING Text with a “WARNING” indicator will explain possible
Safety infractions that will potentially cause serious injury and equipment damage.
=DANGER Text with a “DANGER” indicator will explain possible
Safety infractions that are imminently hazardous situations that would result in death or serious injury.
NOTE:- Throughout this manual “NOTE” may be found. These Notes are helpful information to aid in the
particular area or function being described.
CAUTION
•Please confer with a professional technician before using the product.
• Every accessories needed to plug in with accurate position
•Do not install the product in the oily, smoky, damp and dusty area or the area which is easy to get
splashed by water(rain)
•Please observe the recommended operation time and method.
(Use it once or twice a day and do not use any other things than the product supplied by the
manufacturer.)
•Install the product on a level area.
•Please confer with a doctor when you feel abnormal in your body while using the product.
•Please unplug the power cord when you have finished using it or will not expect to use it for a long
period. (There may be a risk of fire.)
•Do not bend the electrical cord or accessories using force or place a sharp or heavy object on them.
(There may be a risk of electrical shock or fire.)
•Do not plug several power cords of electrical appliances into one receptacle at the same time.
(There may be a risk of fire.)
•Check out for the rated voltage when you install the product.
(There may be a risk of circuit damage or fire unless the rated voltage is not used.)
•Do not place ignitable materials including candlelight, cigarette, liquor or a container filled with water or
a heavy object on the product.
(There may be a risk of electrical shock or fire or damage)
•Do not locate equipment to make it difficult to operate the disconnection device.
•During operation of the PURISMA, you need to beware because the near devices may cause

electromagnetic interference. The devices need to be separated each other to minimize the cause of
electromagnetic interference.
•Be careful when handling the treatment head since rough handling may adversely affect its characteristics.
WARNING
If you have any problems with this product, immediately stop using this product and contact our
customer service center or stores where you bought this product.
• People who suffer from or are suspicious to have a disease including malignancy, high fever,
pregnancy, skin disease or any other diseases around the used body part, excessive general
weakening, allergy symptoms or who need to use a life-support should confer with a doctor before
using the product.
• Do not disassemble, repair and remodel the product at discretion of a user. Please contact the sales
store or customer service center for help to repair it. (There may be a risk of electrical shock or fire)
• Please contact the customer service center for a check and repair of the product for the following
cases:
- There is a damage on a cable or plug, and the product doesn’t work properly.
- The product was dropped and damaged.
- The product is wet with water.
• Please insert a plug in a wall socket with grounded.
• Do not use a damaged electrical cord or aged receptacle.
(There may be a risk of electrical shock or fire)
• Do not give a shock to the product or accessories.
• Do not modify this equipment without authorization of the manufacturer
• Equipment must be connected to an appropriate power source
• To avoid risk of electric shock, this equipment must only be connected to a supply mains with protective
earth
• Do not touch the handpiece with wet hands.
•Do not remove or connect the handpiece while the device is operating.

DANGER
• A user shall avoid using the product in the following cases of for the specific regions or person ;
-The case where such as aid as implant, pace maker or ant other artificial organ inside the body
-Pregnancy
-A patient with a coagulation disorder or bleeding tendency
-When the patient does not feel thermal changes
-A hypertensive
-A burn or care after such a burn
Do not pull the power cord using force or touch the power plug with a wet hand. (There may be a risk of
electrical shock or fire)
Stop using the product and unplug the power cord immediately when there is thunder and lightening or an
earthquake(There may be a risk of electrical shock or fire)
Contraindication
• This device should not be used for symptomatic local pain relief unless etiology is established or unless a
pain syndrome has been diagnosed.
• This device should not be used when cancerous lesions are present in the treatment area.
• Other contraindication are patients suspected of carrying serious infectious disease and or disease where it
is advisable, for general medical purposes, to suppress heat or fevers.
• This device should not be used over or near bone growth centers until bone growth is complete.
• This device should not be used over the thoracic area if the patient is using a cardiac pacemaker.
DANGER
Patients with an implanted neurostimulation device must not be treated with or be in close proximity to any
radio frequency diathermy, shortwave diathermy, microwave diathermy, therapeutic ultrasound diathermy or
laser diathermy anywhere on their body. Energy from diathermy (RF, shortwave, microwave, ultrasound and
laser) can be transferred through the implanted neurostimulation system, can cause tissue damage and can
result in severe injury or death. Injury, damage or death can occur during diathermy therapy even if the
implanted neurostimulation system is turned "off."

How to Use
1) Before setting up
2) Preparation to use
(1) Fully aware of manual before using.
(2) Turn on the power button after checking the connection of power code behind of main body.
(3) Connect the main body and accessories appropriately, and check all the connection is secure.
3) How to operate
(1) How to connect tip of SPOT Handpiece
Turn the top of handpiece counterclockwise to loosen it, and insert the electrode tip into the top. To fix the
electrode tip, turn the top clockwise.
(2) Turn on the power switch to start.

(3) Check the LCD screen shows normal display as below;
(4) Choose one of the options on the LCD for your purpose. (SPOT / JET)
(5) Choose the option among Pulse Mode, One-Shot Mode, Continuous Mode.
(6) In case you select Pulse Mode or One-Shot Mode, you might take options for adjusting output power as
below;

(7) When Continuous Mode is selected, specified output level outputs continuously.
(8) The output level can be adjusted in 1 ~ 3 levels. The level raises by 1 level when pushing button
and it goes down by 1 lever when pushing the button .
(9) After the user setting is complete, press the button once. The button is changed as .
(10) The user can set Auto / LED / INFINITE modes.
(11) When the setup is completed, place the handpiece at the target area and then press the shot button on
the handpiece to start.
Caution
• Do not touch the handpiece with wet hands.
•Do not remove or connect the handpiece while the device is operating.
(12) When all procedures have been completed, make sure to press the button and let the button
changed as .

4) Storage and maintenance
(1) For Safety reasons, Avoid an environment where direct sunlight can increase the temperature.
(2) Storage Temperature : -10℃~ 40℃
(3) Storage Humidity : 5 ~ 95%
(4) Fix the hand piece on the cradle after use.
(5) Turn off main switch back of device in case of not using long time.
(6) Store carefully with tilt, vibration, and shock avoiding humid environment.

All DaeYang Medical units are guaranteed against defects in material and workmanship for a period of
one year after the date of purchase –with the exception of accessories and subject to normal wear.
Should your unit develop a fault, please return it to the distributor in the country where the unit was
purchased.
