This product is the child safety device to decrease the impact of the child caused by
traffic accidents, etc. You must take care of it when you drive so as not to cause any
car accident.

This device can be installed on the front or the rear automotive seat.
Daiichi recommends that this child safety device will be installed on the rear automotive
seat which has high safety.

The inclination of the seat back can be easily adjusted, as it moves freely.
Notice Avoid setting the seat back completely vertically
or horizontally.
You must install this child safety device only inside the car fixed
with 3 points safety belt.
The head restraint can be adjusted up to all 5 levels.

for the “clicking” sound after adjusting.

6. Equipment (If using the seat back)
Have a child in the car seat so that the back of the child is
resting on the seat well.
Pull the car seat-belt, and then adjust so that the belt in
horizontal direction passes under the lower part of the car seat
armrest. Pull the belt of the shoulder part diagonally so that it
passes through the hook part of the head restraint.
Then insert it into the buckle.
The belt for the shoulder part must pass over the upper side
of the child’s shoulder, and the belt in the horizontal direction
must pass over the lower part of the child’s belly.
Confirm the proper height of the head restraint.
The car fixing plate and the seatbelt buckle must be fixed.
Ensure that the car seatbelt is not twisted.
Notice Be sure to check the height of the head restraint at
this time.(Please refer to the “head restraint” section.)

After checking, if the main frame of the car seat can be moved more than 3 cm in any direction,
please install it again according to No. 1~3.

7. Equipment (If not using the seat back)
Have a child sit in the junior seat after putting the safety seat
on the car seat.
Confirm that the lower part of the child’s belly is resting on the
seat well.
Pull the car seat-belt, and then adjust so that the seat-belt in
the horizontal direction passes under the lower part of the car
seat armrest. Pull the belt of the shoulder part diagonally so
that it can pass through the hook part of the head restraint.
Then insert it into the buckle.
The belt of the shoulder part must pass over the upper side
of the child’s shoulder, and the belt in the horizontal direction
must pass over the lower part of the child’s belly.

The car fixing plate and the car seat-beat must be fixed.

As seat covers on head restraint and seat back are made of Velcro, they can be easily
detached or put together.
Clean all stains caused by food, etc. every time.
Do not use gasoline or thinner, as these might cause a mark on the surface of the seat
and the plastic.
Wash the head restraint, the seat back, and the seat cover of the body in tepid water.
(Please be sure to wash it by hand.)
Avoid dehydration, and after removing the moisture by drying with a towel, etc.,
dry it in the airy shade.
Polish the plastic parts by using water or dry cloth, etc.
Please vacuum up dust, etc.

9. Caution
Fix the junior safety device according to the instruction manual. If the seat is not fixed securely,
the child will be exposed to the risk of death or injury in the event of crash or sudden braking.
A guardian must always be present when the child is in the car. Do not allow the child to be
in the car alone. A child is particularly at risk during high temperatures in the summer.
The device must be equipped with the other car seat if the kinds and forms of the car seat-belt
do not follow the instruction manual. If the instruction manual is not followed, the child will be
exposed to the risk of death or injury in the event of a crash or sudden braking.
Metal and plastic parts of the safety seat might become hot if exposed to direct sunlight.
Only place the child in the seat after confirming the child will not be burned, and be sure to park
the car in the shade and cover the seat with a towel on days of strong sun rays in the summer.
Do not reuse the safety seat if you experience a traffic accident or strong impact, even if there
are no apparent external damages, as this may cause the risk of death or injury.
Do not use this device in an automotive seat equipped with airbag. The child can be injured by
the operation of the airbag.
Do not remodel or manipulate the safety chair beyond the items mentioned.
If the safety seat is installed in the passenger seat, it may interfere with the gear or the side
brake. If interference occurs, install the seat on the rear automotive seat.
Do not manipulate the safety belt when driving. Park the car in a safe place so it can be
handled properly. If you manipulate it while driving, it may interfere with car driving and cause
an accident.
When the safety seat is not being used, put it in the trunk or be sure to fix it to the automotive
seat belt. If not, it may be moved or bumped into, causing interference when driving.
An emergency exit is needed. Do not install the child safety seat on the passenger seat in the
car of 2 or 3 door usually sitted by a person in the back of the car, or in the second seat of 1
box car.
Ensure that the child does not stand on the safety seat, or use it as a toy.
Be sure to confirm that it is intalled safely if you are going to be driving on bumpy road, and
check for trouble during or after driving. (When you check it, the automobile must be stopped
and secured.)
If you install the safety seat in the front position, please make sure that it does nto obscure the
door mirror and the rear field of vision.
Do not install or remove the safety chair if the child sits on it.
The safety device must be securely fixed before the child is seated. If it is not properly fixed,
it might pop out in a crash causing injury to the passenger.
Adjust the junior seat-belt to fix the child properly with it, if it is provided.
Avoid damaging the belts with sharp objects, as this will compromise safety. If belts become
damaged, please contact the store where you purchased this product.
Daiichi recommends that you install the safety device in the rear seat rather than the front seat.
