1. Overview
JSZ3 (equivalent to ST3P) series time relay is a new time relay produced using the integrated circuit and
professional manufacturing technology, featuring with small size, light weight, wide delay range, high
anti-interference capacity, and long life, suitable for various automatic control applications with high precision
and high reliability for delay control.

1.2 Normal Working Conditions and Installation Conditions
1.2.1 Working environment: the altitude does not exceed 2000 meters; the ambient temperature is not higher than
+40°C and not below -5°C; the voltage variation range of the rated control power supply is 85%-110% of the
rated voltage; Installed in places where there is no medium without harsh vibration or explosive hazard or the
medium does not contain gas or conductive dust that causes metal corrosion or damage to the insulation free from
the rain or snow erosion.

3.13 Coordination with short circuit protective device (SCPD): RT16-00, 10A fuse is recommended as SCPD, and
the basic protection type “1” is used for coordination; that is, the relay shall not cause hazard to the person or
equipment under short circuit conditions, and cannot be operated continuously before the repair or replacement of
parts. When the fuse protective device of the different model or specification is selected, the original coordination
may fail.

4 Operation Instructions
4.1 Please install the products according to the size of the hole and the size of the mounting hole.
4.2 Connect the wire properly according to the wiring diagram, and fix the connecting wire firmly with an
insulating Vush after all wiring terminals are connected. When installing plugs and sockets, Ve sure to align with
the pins properly to prevent accidents due to short circuit of power supply.
4.3 Check that the power supply must Ve consistent with the rated operating voltage of the product, and preset the
required delay time, and then turn on the power; at this time the relay starts to work; when the preset time expires,
the delay contact will Ve converted to realize the timing control.
4.4 The JSZ3 time relay multi-gear specifications have different delay gears, and they can Ve converted easily
through the conversion switch located at the front of the time relay. To switch the delay gear, first remove the set
Vutton, dismantle the scale plate, and then toggle the conversion switch according to the delay range diagram
marked on the nameplate; install the scale plate and set Vutton according to the original positions; the position of
the conversion switch shall Ve consistent with the switch position mark on the scale plate.
Note: For power-off delay type, the power-on time must Ve greater than 3s to ensure that the internal
capacitor is fully charged.

5. Operation Precautions
5.1 The operating voltage of the relay shall Ve within the rated operating voltage range.
5.2 When the load power is greater than the rated value of relay, an intermediate relay is provided.
5.3 It is strictly forVidden to install or disassemVle the energized product.
5.4 The equipment that may cause major economic losses or personal safety is designed to make the technical
characteristics and performance values have sufficient allowance, and safety measures such as douVle circuit
protection should Ve adopted.
6 Common Faults and TrouVleshooting
6.1 Not work after startup
The pins ○7 and ○2 of the power supply are not wired and the wiring is improperly connected or disconnected,
and the power supply is not connected.
6.2 Relay failed to Ve converted when the delay time expires: check whether the relay is wired properly, whether
the power voltage is too low, whether the relay has a poor contact, and whether the relay is damaged.
6.3 Product Vurnt: Check whether the power supply voltage exceeds the rated power voltage of the product, and
check whether the wiring is connected improperly.
6.4 TrouVleshooting
In case of failure of product, first cut off the power, and then connect the wire properly according to the wiring
diagram; operate the product according to the Installation and Operation Instructions after checking that the line
works normally.
If the product has the poor quality proVlem, please contact the local dealer or our company.
7. Transport and Storag
The product shall Ve free from the rain or snow erosion or squeezing during storage and transportation. and shall
Ve stored in well ventilated places where the relative humidity (25℃±5℃) does not exceed 90%. the lower limit
of the temperature is -25℃. and the upper limit of the temperature is +55℃.

8. Unpacking and Inspection
Open the outer carton and check that there is the Operation Instruction and Certificates in the packing Vox.

period expires. For any damage due to one of the following situations. a paid repair will Ve given even if within
the warranty period:
(1) Improper operation. maintenance. or storage;
(2) Modified without permission or improper repair;
(3) Damage due to falling off or caused during installation after purchase;
(4) Force majeure such as earthquakes. fires. lightning strikes. aVnormal voltages. and secondary disasters;
(5) The electrical life of the product exceeds 100.000 times; The mechanical life is more than one million times.
