System Memory Information Update —
8 GB Memory Modules
Your system now supports quad-ranked 8 GB memory modules, allowing higher
total memory capacities.
Due to limitations of the processor memory controller, the system memory will
run at 533 MHz, rather than 667 MHz.
Configuration Guidelines for Quad-Ranked 8 GB Memory Modules
Quad-ranked 8 GB memory modules should not be combined with other sizes of
memory modules.
If quad-ranked 8 GB modules are combined with other sizes, all memory
modules will run at 533 MHz, rather than 667 MHz. A message notifying you
that a non-optimal configuration is installed will be displayed at system startup.

Mise à jour des informations concernant
la mémoire système - Barrettes de mémoire de 8 Go
La mémoire totale du système peut maintenant être étendue via l'installation
de barrettes de mémoire de 8 Go à quatre rangées de connexions.
En raison de restrictions liées au contrôleur de la mémoire du processeur,
la vitesse de la mémoire est cependant limitée à 533 MHz au lieu de 667.
Consignes pour la configuration des barrettes de mémoire de 8 Go
à quatre rangées de connexions
Il est préférable de ne pas combiner des barrettes de mémoire de 8 Go à
quatre rangées de connexions avec des barrettes d'une capacité différente.
Lorsque ce type de combinaison est utilisé, toutes les barrettes sont limitées à
une vitesse de 533 MHz au lieu de 667. Dans ce cas, un avertissement s'affiche
au démarrage du système pour indiquer que la configuration de la mémoire
n'est pas optimale.

Actualización de información de memoria
del sistema: Módulos de memoria de 8 GB
El sistema ahora admite módulos de memoria cuádruples de 8 GB, lo cual
aumenta la capacidad total de memoria.
A causa de ciertas limitaciones de la controladora de memoria del procesador,
la memoria del sistema se ejecutará a 533 MHz, no a 667 MHz.
Pautas para la configuración de módulos de memoria cuádruples de 8 GB
Los módulos de memoria cuádruples de 8 GB no deben combinarse con módulos
de memoria de otro tamaño.
Si se combinan módulos de memoria cuádruples de 8 GB con módulos de otro
tamaño, todos los módulos de memoria funcionarán a 533 MHz en vez de a
667 MHz. Cuando se inicie el sistema se mostrará un mensaje que indica que
seha instalado una configuración que no es la óptima.
