Description
This barcode scanner by Delock can be wirelessly connected to a PC or laptop.
All common 1D and 2D barcode types can be precisely captured even at long
distances. Additionally, the scanner recognizes barcodes displayed on displays
and monitors.
Automatic adaptation to ambient brightness
The scanner automatically adapts to the ambient brightness and captures up to
200 scans per second under optimal lighting conditions.
In low ambient brightness, the barcode is illuminated by an additional white LED
and can therefore also be used in poor lighting conditions.
Charging station acts as interface
The data transfer of the scanned barcodes is done via the 2.4 GHz frequency
band. In addition to charging the hand scanner, the scanner‘s charging station
also functions as a 2.4 GHz interface and is connected to the system via USB
cable.
Using an optional adapter cable, it is possible to connect the charging station to a
smartphone or tablet.

Charge battery
You can charge the scanner‘s battery by using the charging station. For this
purpose, the station must be connected to the system via USB cable. Then place
the scanner in the holder provided for this purpose.
Beep tones
5 melodical beeps Scanner is active
One short beep The scanner successfully reads the scanned barcode
Three short beeps The scanner reads a barcode although it is not connec-
ted
or the scanner has successfully established the connec-
tion after the reset

Connecting the scanner to the system
To connect the scanner to the system, please connect the cable to the computer
(USB-A socket), push scanner button and the code below. After successful con-
nection you will hear two beeps.
Match
If your scanner does not output any values after scanning, please check the
connection to the computer, - as well as the battery level.
If the battery is very low, the scanner cannot read any scans. -
And then connect the scanner to the computer. After a successful connection you
will hear two beeps.
Reset scanner to factory settings
To reset the scanner to its factory settings, please scan the codes below in
sequence. After the second code the scanner switches o󰀨, please wake up by
button push and go forward. After a successful connection, the scanner should
emit two beeps.
Important: After the scans, give the scanner a little time (1-2 seconds) to
process the codes internally.

Scan Mode
The scanner has three di󰀨erent scanning modes.
Continuous scanning, where the scanner stays on, auto scanning, where the
scanner detects when a barcode is in the reading range, and normal mode,
scanning at the touch of a button.

Data transfer from the memory mode
If you are outside the transmission range to the base station and the connected
system, you can save the scanned codes to the internal memory using the code
below:
Using the code below you can then enter the internal memory mode.
The total amount of the memory is recorded by the following barcode.
You can now upload the stored data by scanning the barcode below.
Please make sure that you are in the reception area of your USB device and that
an ideal connection has been established.
To delete the internal memory afterwards, you can use the following code.
You can return to normal mode with the following code.

Prex
The prex is a string of character strings dened by the user before the decoded
data. You can add and modify the prex by reading the following setting codes.
The prex allows up to 15 characters. For each prex character, two hexadecimal
values are used to represent it. Refer to Appendix for the hexadecimal conver-
sion table of character values.
After reading the „Data Code“, you need to read the „Save“ setting code to save
the data.

Kurzbeschreibung
Dieser Barcode Scanner von Delock kann mit einem PC oder Notebook kabellos
verbunden werden. Es können alle gängigen 1D und 2D Barcodetypen auch auf
weite Entfernung präzise erfasst werden. Zusätzlich erkennt der Scanner auf
Displays und Monitoren dargestellte Barcodes.
Automatische Anpassung an Umgebungshelligkeit
Der Scanner passt sich automatisch an die Umgebungshelligkeit an und erfasst
unter optimalen Lichtverhältnissen bis zu 200 Scans in der Sekunde.
Bei geringer Umgebungshelligkeit wird der Barcode durch eine zusätzliche weiße
LED beleuchtet und ist somit auch bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen einsetzbar.
Ladestation fungiert als Schnittstelle
Die Datenübertragung der gescannten Barcodes erfolgt über das 2,4 GHz
Frequenzband. Dabei fungiert die Ladestation neben dem Laden des Handscan-
ners auch als 2,4 GHz Schnittstelle und wird per USB Kabel mit dem System
verbunden.
Mit Hilfe eines optionalen Adapterkabels ist es möglich die Ladestation an einem
Smartphone oder Tablet anzuschließen.

Akku laden
Sie können den Akku des Scanners mit Hilfe der Ladestation laden. Hierfür muss
die Station per USB Kabel mit dem System oder einem Stromadapter verbunden
sein. Im Anschluss stellen Sie den Scanner in die dafür vorgesehene Halterung.

Ein kurzer Ton Der Scanner liest erfolgreich den gescannten Barcode
Drei kurze Töne Der Scanner liest einen Barcode, obwohl er nicht
verbunden ist
oder der Scanner hat erfolgreich die Verbindung nach
dem Reset hergestellt
Ein langer Ton Außerhalb der Reichweite, schlechte Verbindung,
oder Gerät schaltet sich aus
Scanner mit dem System verbinden
Um den Scanner mit dem System zu verbinden schließen Sie bitte das Kabel am
Rechner (USB-A Buchse) an und scannen Sie den untenstehenden Code. Nach
erfolgreicher Verbindung hören Sie drei Töne.
Match
Sollte Ihr Scanner nach dem Einscannen keine Werte ausgeben, prüfen Sie bitte
die Verbindung zum Rechner, - sowie den Batteriestand.
Bei sehr niedriger Batterieladung kann der Scanner keine Scans lesen. -
und verbinden Sie anschließend den Scanner mit dem Rechner. Nach erfolg-
reicher Verbindung hören Sie drei Töne.
Scanner auf Werkseinstellungen zurücksetzen
Um den Scanner auf seine Werkseinstellungen zurück zu setzen scannen Sie
bitte die unzen stehenden Codes der Reihe nach. Jeder wird mit zwei kurzen Tö-
nen bestätigt. Nach dem zweiten Code schaltet sich der Scanner aus, bitte durch
Tastendruck aufwecken und fortfahren. Nach erfolgreicher Verbindung sollte der
Scanner drei Töne ausgeben.
Wichtig: Geben Sie dem Scanner zwischen den einzelnen Scans ein wenig
Zeit (1-2 Sekunden) damit dieser die Codes intern verarbeiten kann.
