System Connection
For a basic connection from you Set Top Box to your television set,
you can use SCART connection. For a higher quality connection,
use a direct HDMI connection, as shown below. Connect an audio
amplifier use coaxial is an optional.

Remote Control
POWER: Switch the receiver in and out of
standby mode.
SUB-T: Display subtitle options (availability
depends on the channel).
TTX: Switch on Teletext, if current channel
has this option, and use EXIT key to quit
Teletext.
MUTE: Switch volume on/off.
EPG: Shows the Electronic Program Guide.
LANG:
PAGE-/PAGE+:
To navigate inside the
menus.
GOTO:Goto desired time in multimedia file.
REPEAT: Repeat play multimedia file.
VOL-/VOL+: To increase / decrease volume.
MENU: Display main menu on TV screen
EXIT: Use this key to quit current menu.
CH-/CH+: Program changing keys.
OK: To confirm current setting, or display
channel list in no-menu model.
FAV: Displays your favorite channels list.
TV/RADIO: Switch between Digital Radio and
Digital TV mode.
<0>-<9>: Numeric keys.
RECALL: Go back to the previous viewed
channel.
INFO: Display information about the current
channel.

First Time Installation
If you are using the unit for the first time the installation Guide
Menu will appear on your TV screen.
OSD Language: Press LEFT/RIGHT
key to select a OSD menu
language.
Country: Press LEFT/RIGHT key to
select the country of your residence.
Channel Search: Press OK key to begin automatically
search.
Once channel searching is complete, you can start watching TV
programs.
Basic Operation
1. Change Channel
Press [CH-/CH+] key to switch to previous/next channel.
Input channel number by numeric key and then press [OK] key to
switch to desire channel.
Press [OK] key first to display TV List menu, then select channel
by [UP/DOWN] key and press [OK] key to switch to the channel.
2. Volume and Mute
Press [VOL-/VOL+] to decrease/increase volume.
Press [MUTE] key to switch off the audio output, press [MUTE]
key again to restore normal audio output.
3. Subtitle/Audio Language
Press [SUB-T] key to open Subtitle Language menu, press
[UP/DOWN] key to select Subtitle Language or TTX subtitle, press

[OK] key to select desired subtitle.
Press [LANG] key to open Audio Channel menu, press
[LEFT/RIGHT] key to change audio channel, press [OK] key to
confirm and press [EXIT] key to exit Audio Channel menu.
4. Teletext
Teletext is a television information retrieval service. Press [TTX]
key to access Teletext pages. Press the corresponding 3-digit
page number to go to a page that you have selected.
[RED/YELLOW/GREEN/BLUE] areshort cut keys that allow you
quick access a particular page. Press [EXIT] key to return to TV
program.
5. TV/Radio
Press [TV/RADIO] key to switch between TV program and Radio
program.
6. EPG and Timer
The EPG is an on-screen TV guide that shows scheduled
programs. Press [EPG] key to open EPG menu.
You can use the [UP/DOWN] key to select the preferred program.
If there is more than one page of information, use the [BLUE] key
for page up and the [YELLOW] key for page down. You can select
another channel's EPG by [LEFT/RIGHT] keys, view detail of each
EPG event by [INFO] key or schedule a recording by [OK] key.
7. USB
USB device can be used for media player, PVR, Timeshift and
software upgrade.
Note: Please use a DC adaptor for the USB device if current
consumption of the USB device is larger than 500mA.

7.1. Media Player
Access Main Menu -> USB -> Multimedia menu you can playback
Music/Photo/Movie/PVR on USB disk.
7.2. PVR
Press [REC] key to start recording, you can playback recorded file
by press [PVR] key or access Main Menu -> USB -> Multimedia ->
PVR.
7.3. Timeshift
Press [TIMESHIFT] key first to start Timeshift, then you can press
[PLAY] key, the unit will start playing recorded program.
Press [GOTO] key to select playing time
Press [REW/FB] key to move through current recording.
Press [STOP] key to exit Timeshift.
Note: Timeshift is only available when USB HDD is connected to
system and read/write speed is high enough to support that.
7.4. Software Upgrade
You can upgrade receiver software by access Main Menu ->
System Setting -> Software Upgrade -> USB update.
8. Password
Some operation need password, the default password is “000000”,
you can change password by access Main Menu -> System -> Set
Password.
If you forget the password, you can unlock the system by master
password “888888”.

You can change the system setting by access Main Menu. Press
[MENU] key to open the Main Menu. Press
[UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT/OK] to navigate inside the menus, press
[MENU] key to return previous menu, press [EXIT] key to exit main

Sicherheitshinweise
Schützen Sie das Gerät vor Regen oder Feuchtigkeit, um die
Gefahr von Feuer oder Stromschlägen zu vermeiden. Schließen
Sie den Stecker fest an die Steckdose an, um die Gefahr eines
Stromschlags zu vermeiden. Das Gerät ist nicht spritz- oder
tropfwasserdicht. Stellen Sie keine mit Wasser gefüllten
Gegenstände wie z.B. Gläser auf das Gerät.

Überprüfen Sie vor der Installation den Lieferumfang auf
Vollständigkeit. Im Lieferumfang muss folgendes Zubehör
enthalten sein:

System anschließen
Zum Anschluss Ihres Satellitenempfängers am Fernseher können
Sie TV SCART benutzen. Eine bessere Qualität erhalten Sie
allerdings mit einer HDMI-Verbindung, wie nachstehend
dargestellt. Über den Ausgang COAXIAL können Sie optional
einen Digitalverstärker anschließen.

Fernbedienung
POWER: Gerät ein- und ausschalten
(Stand-by-Modus).
SUB-T: Unterstützte Untertitelsprachen des
aktuellen Kanals anzeigen (abhängig
vom Kanal).
TTX: Videotext anzeigen, mit EXIT verlassen.
MUTE: Ton ein-/ausschalten.
EPG: Elektronische Programmzeitschrift
anzeigen.
LANG:
PAGE-/PAGE+: Navigation in den Menüs.
GOTO: Suchmenü für Multimediadateien
anzeigen.
REPEAT: Multimediadatei wiederholen.

Erstinstallation
Falls Sie das Gerät das erste Mal verwenden, erscheint auf dem
TV-Bildschirm das Installationsmenü.
OSD-Sprache: Wählen Sie mit den
Tasten LINKS/RECHTS eine
OSD-Menüsprache aus.
Land: Wählen Sie mit den Tasten
LINKS/RECHTS das Land Ihres
aktuellen Aufenthalts aus.
Kanalsuche: Drücken Sie OK zum Starten der
automatischen Suche.
Nach Abschluss der Kanalsuche können Sie fernsehen.
Allgemeine Bedienungshinweise
1. Kanal umschalten
Mit den Tasten [CH-/CH+] schalten Sie den
vorhergehenden/nächsten Kanal ein.
Geben Sie mit den Zifferntasten die Kanalnummer ein und drücken
Sie dann [OK], um den gewünschten Kanal einzuschalten.
Drücken Sie zunächst die Taste [OK] zum Anzeigen des
TV-Listenmenüs. Wählen Sie dann mit den Tasten
[AUFWÄRTS/ABWÄRTS] einen Kanal aus und drücken Sie [OK], um
den Sender einzuschalten.
2. Lautstärke und Stummschaltung
Die Lautstärke verringern/erhöhen Sie mit den Tasten [VOL-/VOL+].
Drücken Sie die Taste [MUTE], um den Ton auszuschalten, und
drücken Sie [MUTE] erneut, um den Ton wieder einzuschalten.
3. Untertitel-/Audiosprache
Drücken Sie die Taste [SUB-T], um das Menü der Untertitelsprachen

zu öffnen. Wählen Sie mit den Tasten [AUFWÄRTS/ABWÄRTS] die
Untertitelsprache oder TTX-Untertitel aus und drücken Sie [OK], um
die Einstellung zu übernehmen.
Drücken Sie die Taste [LANG] zum Öffnen des Audiokanalmenüs.
Wählen Sie mit den Tasten [LINKS/RECHTS] einen Audiokanal aus
und bestätigen Sie mit [OK]. Drücken Sie die Taste [EXIT] zum
Verlassen des Audiokanalmenüs.
4. Videotext
Der Videotext ist ein Informationsabfragedienst des Fernsehers.
Drücken Sie die Taste [TTX] zum Öffnen der Videotextseiten. Geben
Sie die 3-stellige Seitennummer ein, um die gewünschte Seite zu
öffnen. [ROT/GELB/GRÜN/BLAU] sind Schnelltasten für den
schnellen Zugriff auf eine bestimmte Seite. Drücken Sie die Taste
[EXIT], um zum TV-Programm zurückzukehren.
5. TV/Radio
Drücken Sie die Taste [TV/RADIO], um zwischen dem TV- und
Radioprogramm umzuschalten.
6. EPG und Timer
EPG ist die elektronische Programmzeitschrift, in der die
Fernsehprogramme aufgelistet sind. Drücken Sie [EPG] zum Öffnen
des EPG-Menüs.
Mit den Navigationstasten [AUFWÄRTS/ABWÄRTS] wählen Sie das
gewünschte Programm. Ist mehr als eine Seite Informationen
verfügbar, so blättern Sie mit der BLAUEN und GELBEN Taste um.
Sie können mit den Tasten LINKS/RECHTS die Programmzeitschrift
eines anderen Kanals aufrufen, mit der Taste INFO die Details von
EPG-Programmen anzeigen, oder mit der Taste OK eine Aufnahme
programmieren.
7. USB
Verwenden Sie ein USB-Gerät für die Funktionen Media-Player, PVR

und Timeshift und zum Aktualisieren der Software.
Hinweis: Verwenden Sie für das USB-Gerät einen DC-Adapter, falls
die Stromaufnahme des USB-Geräts größer als 500 mA ist.
7.1 Media-Player
Öffnen Sie Main Menu -> USB -> Multimedia menu für die
Wiedergabe von Music/Photo/Movie/PVR auf der USB-Festplatte.
7.2. PVR
Drücken Sie die Taste REC, um die Aufnahme zu starten. Um
aufgenommene Dateien abzuspielen, drücken Sie die Taste PVR
oder öffnen Sie Main Menu -> USB -> Multimedia -> PVR.
7.3. Timeshift
Drücken Sie zunächst die Taste TIMESHIFT zur Aktivierung der
Timeshift-Funktion. Drücken Sie dann die Taste WIEDERGABE, um
das aufgenommene Programm abzuspielen.
Drücken Sie die Taste GOTO, um die Wiedergabezeit auszuwählen.
Mit den Tasten REW/FB scrollen Sie durch die aktuelleAufzeichnung.
Drücken Sie die Taste STOP, um die Timeshift-Funktion zu beenden.
Hinweis: Timeshift ist nur mit angeschlossener USB-Festplatte
verfügbar und wenn die Lese-/Schreibgeschwindigkeit hoch genug ist,
um diese Funktion zu unterstützen.
7.4 Softwareaktualisierung
Um die Software des Empfängers zu aktualisieren, öffnen Sie Main
Menu -> System Setting -> Software Upgrade -> USB update.
8. Passwort
Einige Funktionen benötigen ein Passwort. Das werksseitige
Passwort ist „000000“. Um das Passwort zu ändern, öffnen Sie Main
Menu -> System -> Set Password.
Falls Sie das Passwort vergessen haben, können Sie das System mit
dem Master-Passwort „888888“ entsperren.
