Insert the remote control battery
For the bestresults,aim the remote towards at theplayer's remote
sensor within 5metres and angles of 60 degreesor less.
Under normal usethe battery will last for oneyear.
Remove battery whenyou are not using the DVDplayer for a long
time.
Precautions when usingbatteries
1. Use onlythe size and type of batteries specified.
2. Do notmix different typesof batteries together or old batteries
with fresh ones.
3. Exhausted batterieshave to be removed to prevent possible battery
leakage.
4. Dispose ofbatteries properly according to environmental regulations.

Connecting to anaerial or theexternal TV antenna:
This unit isequipped with a multi-standard tuner. Connect your
antenna connecter tothe aerial input jack on the left side ofthe
player. Oryou can also connect to the external antenna
(supplied) as shownbelow:
Connecting to headphones
Connect the headphonesto the headphone jack on the left side
of the player, as shownbelow:
When headphones areconnected the speaker output will be
turned off automatically. Prolonged useof headphones at full
volume may damageyour hearing.

Using the ACAdapter
The player issupplied with an AC adapter for powering theunit and
charging the battery.
1. ConnectAC adapter to the left side of the unitin the jack marked
DC 9V INas shown on the right.
2. Plug thepower cord into a wall AC outlet. The indicator
lights up. Theindicator is red.

Power Supply Preparation
Replacing the fuseof the car adapter. Make sure the amperage
matches the specifiedvalue when replacing the fuse. If the fuse
is blown, checkthe power connection and replace with a new one.If
some problems occur, there mustbe a malfunction. In such cases,
please consult thenearest repair center.
Warnings:
Never use thefuse with a rated amperage over the one specified,
otherwise you maydamage the unit.
About Rechargeable BatteryPack
The Unit includesa built-in lithium rechargeable battery.Charge
the battery fullybefore initial use. Charging time is normally about
5 hours.A fully charged battery delivers about 3 hoursof use but
playing time variesfrom disc to disc. If the battery will notbe used
for a longperiod of time, charge the battery up to 30%~60%of its
capacity before storage.

Before Operation:
1. Connect theaerial cable or input source to the antenna inputsocket
at the leftside of the set.
2. Afterconnecting the power supply and switching the power switchto
¡°I¡±, turn the unit on, by pressing the button on the front panel
or the remotecontrol, the indicatorwill turn to blue.
3. Use theSOURCE button to select the source: TV/DVD/USB/CARD/
DVBT inAV OUTmode or VGAin AV in mode.
4. To Switch the set to standby mode, press the button and the
indicator will turnred.
5. To turn offthe unit, switch the Power switch to ¡°o¡±.
6. If youare not going to use the set for along time, switch the power off
completely by unpluggingthe power supply cable.
Using the CarAdapter
The unit issupplied with a Car Adapter for powering theunit and
charging the batteryin a vehicle.
Connect the caradapter power plug to the unit's DC IN 9Vjack and the
other end tothe vehicle cigarette lighter socket as shown on theright.

ØDo not operatethe unit orview video while driving a vehicle.
ØPlace the unitin a properposition for viewing.
Working conditions andprecautions for the rechargeable battery
ØNew battery shouldbe fully charged before initial use.
ØBattery should onlybe used and charged when temperature is
between 32-100F.
ØNever put thebattery in fireor water.
ØDo not exposethe battery tohigh temperature or store in hot,
sunny place.
ØMaintain well-ventilated conditionsaround the product to avoid
overheating. Don't put the product on a bed, sofa or anything that
may block ventilation to the product.
ØDo not shortthe battery terminals.
ØDo not openthe battery.
ØWhen charging thebattery pack, the charge light will turn red,
When the charging is complete, the light will turn green.
ØWhen the batteryis weak, low power indicator will appear on the
LCD screen. The player will turn off automatically several
minutes later.

1. Set thepower switch to¡° I¡± at the leftside of the unit.
2. Press SOURCEto select DVD mode, and insert your disc,
with the playbackside facing back. It will be loaded automatically.
3. To eject the disc, press the EJECT button.
Use the buttonsto select the title/chapter you want to
play, thenpress ENTER to start.Press MENU toreturn to the
menu.
Use the numberbuttons to select the track you want to play and
press MENU toreturn to the menu (PBC ononly).
Menu settings andoperating procedures may differ.Follow the
instructions on eachmenu.
Notes:
1.If the parentalcontrol is set and the disc isn't fit for the rating
setting, you mustinput the password.(See "PARENTAL") .
2.DVDs may havea region code.Your player doesnot play
discs that havea region code different from your player.

Use zoom toenlarge or reduce the video image:
1.Press ZOOM duringplayback or still playback to activate the
Zoom function. Thesquare frame appearsbriefly in the right bottom
of the picture.
2. Each pressof the ZOOM button changes the TV screen inthe
following sequence:

1. Press MENU.Ifthe current title has a menu, the menu appearson
the screen. Otherwise,the disc menu may not appear.
2. The MENUoffers features suchas camera angles,spoken language
and subtitle options,and chapters for the title.
3. Press MENUto exit.
Camera Angle
If the disccontains scenes recorded at different cameraangles, you
can change toa different cameraangle during playback. Press
ANGLE repeatedly duringplayback to select a desired angle. Note
that the numberof the current angle appears on screen.

Note:
The angle indicatorwill appear on the TV screenduring scenes
recorded at differentangles as anindication that angle switching is
possible.
Changing the Audio Language
Press AUDIOrepeatedly during playback to select a different audio
language or audiotrack.With DVD-RW discsrecorded in VR mode
that have botha main and a Bilingual audio channel, you can
switch between Main(L), Bilingual (R), or a mix of both (Main+
Bilingual) by pressingAUDIO.

Press SUBTITLE repeatedlyduring playback to select the different
subtitle languages.

Menus DVDs may offermenus that allowyou to access special
features. To use the disc menu, press MENU. Input the
corresponding number oruse the buttons to highlight

Press TITLE button to display the DVD menu or titles available
on the disc. Then you can use " " and ENTER button to select
programs.

The DVD player can play CD and MP3/WMA formatted recordings
on CD-R,CD-RW,DVD+R and DVD+RW discs.
Audio
Once an Audio CD is inserted it will be played automatically. Press
the DISPLAY button to display playblack information on screen,
such as track elapse time.

File names shouldhave a maximum of 8 letters and must incorporate
an" .mp3" or" .wma" extension.
They should notcontain special letters such as "/? * : < > l "etc.
The total numberof files on a disc should be less than 650.
This DVD playerrequires discs and recordings to meet certain
technical standards inorder to achieve optimal playback quality.
Pre-recorded DVDs areautomatically set to these standards. There
are many differenttypes of recordable disc formats(including CD-R
containing MP3 orWMA files) and these require certain pre-existing
conditions (see above)to ensure compatible playback.

an ISO 9660file system.

1.Insert a disc. The file menu appears on the TV

JPEG disc compatibilitywith this player is limited as follows:
1.Depending upon thesize and number of JPEG files, it could take
a long timefor the DVD player to read the disc¡¯s contents. Ifyou
don¡¯t see an on screen display after several minutes, some of the
files may betoo large. Reduce the resolution of the JPEG filesto
less than 2Mpixels as 2760 x 2048 pixels and burn anotherdisc.
2.The total numberof files and folders on the disc should beless
than 650.Some discsmay be incompatible due to a different

recording (VR) format.
1. Insert adisc .The DVD-VR menu appears on the TV screen.
2. Press / to select atrack then press or ENTER and
playback starts.
What is "CPRM"
CPRM is acopy protection system (with scramble system)only
allowing the recordingof 'Copy once' broadcast programs.CPRM
stands for content Protection for Recordable Media.
This player isCPRM compatible, which means that you can record
copy-once broadcast programs,but you cannot then make acopy
of those recordings.CPRMrecordings can only be made on
DVD-RW discs formattedin VR mode,and CPRM recordings can
onlybe played onplayers that are specifically compatible with CPRM.
Note:
Unfinalized DVD-R/RW discscannot be playedin this player.Some
DVD-VR disc aremade with CPRM data by DVD RECORDER.
Player does notsupport these kinds of discs and display
"unknown disc".
Using this DVDPlayer you can play MPEG4 disc.

A listof files in the folder appears.
3. If youwant to play a particular file,press the buttons to

2.The file nameof the MPEG4 subtitle is availableby 56 characters.
3.If there ison code to express in the MPEG4 file, itmay be

If the numberof the screen frame is over 30 per second,this
unit may notoperate normally.
If the videoand audio structure of recorded file is not interleaved,
either video oraudio is outputted.

1. Press PROG whilethe disc is playing
The program menuappears.
2.Use the numberbuttons (0-9) to input the titles, chapters or
tracks.
You can use the buttons to moveto another field and
re-enter the titleand chapter(or track).
You can also move to “EXIT”, “START”, or “NEXT”/“PREV”, and
press the ENTERbutton to confirm.
3.Move to “START”to start programmed playback.
4. To resume normal playback from programmed playback, Press
PRO Gand moveto “STOP”on the programmenu. Press the ENTER
button to stopprogrammed playback.
Notes:
- Program canbe activated only when a disc is in the DVD player.
- When theprogram menu appears, the setup menu setting is
not allowed.
