INTENDED USE
The DeRoyal® Fall Mat is intended to help
provide protection to the patient in the event
of a fall from a bed, wheelchair, stretcher, or
recliner.
WARNINGS
• DO NOT fold the mat.
• DO NOT immerse the mat in any liquid
cleaning solution.
• DO NOT place the mat over wet surfaces.
• DO NOT expose the mat to high temperature
sanitizers.
• Inform the patient and sta to use caution
when stepping on or o the mat to avoid
tripping.
• Ensure product is dry and free of spills and/
or moisture before standing or stepping on
mat. Liquids on or under the mat may cause
a slipping hazard.
THE MANUFACTURER DOES NOT CLAIM THAT THIS
DEVICE WILL PROTECT ANY AND/OR ALL INJURIES
SUSTAINED IN THE EVENT OF A FALL.
CAUTIONS
• This product is to be used by a clinician
(or properly licensed practitioner) who is
familiar with the purpose for which it is
intended. The clinician is responsible for
providing instructions and precautions to
other healthcare practitioners or healthcare
providers involved in the patient’s care as
well as the patient. Follow the instructions
of a provider (or properly licensed
practitioner) for length and duration of use.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Place a fall mat on the oor beside the bed.
If using two mats, place one on either side
of the bed.
2. Ensure the dark gray, textured side of the
mat is facing the oor.
3. Make sure the fall mats are placed adjacent
to the length of the bed so there is no
exposed oor between the bed and the
mat.
4. Make sure the mat lays at on the oor and
is not bunched or raised.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Wipe clean with disinfectant or anti-bacterial
cleaning solution. Ensure top and bottom
of mat are fully dry before use. DO NOT use
abrasive cleaning agents.

Industries, Inc.
WARRANTY
DeRoyal®products are warranted for
ninety (90) days from the date of shipment
from DeRoyal as to product quality and
workmanship. DEROYAL’S WRITTEN WARRANTIES
ARE GIVEN IN LIEU OF ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES,
INCLUDINGWARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
