General Information

►Read all Safety Information delivered together with the different parts of the system.
►Read all Product Instructions for installation, operation and maintenance of the different parts of the system.
►Read all locally legislated safety regulations regarding the system and parts thereof.
►Save all Safety Information and instructions for future reference.
Warranty
• Product warranty will expire 12 months after the product is first taken into use, but will in any case expire at the
latest 13 months after delivery.
• Normal wear and tear on parts is not included within the warranty.
• Normal wear and tear is that which requires a part change or other adjustment/overhaul during standard tools
maintenance typical for that period (expressed in time, operation hours or otherwise).
• The product warranty relies on the correct use, maintenance, and repair of the tool and its component parts.
• Damage to parts that occurs as a result of inadequate maintenance or performed by parties other than Desoutter
or their Certified Service Partners during the warranty period is not covered by the warranty.
• To avoid damage or destruction of tool parts, service the tool according to the recommended maintenance sched-
ules and follow the correct instructions.
• Warranty repairs are only performed in Desoutter workshops or by Certified Service Partners.
Desoutter offers extended warranty and state of the art preventive maintenance through its Tool Care contracts. For
further information contact your local Service representative.
For electrical motors:
• Warranty will only apply when the electric motor has not been opened.

Installation Instructions
How to connect the battery pack to the computer
Plug the eDOCK kit to the battery pack as described and plug the cable to any available USB port of the computer
where CVIMONITOR is installed.
Respect the connection order.
How to launch and set up CVIMONITOR
Launch CVIMONITOR from the computer desktop.
The minimum release of CVIMONITOR must be 1.7.8.0.
Contact your Desoutter representative to get more information and support.
Click Battery pack in the top bar.
Click Select.
How to change the language
The language is set to English by default.
Any user can change the language at any time.
English Bulgarian Korean Japanese
French Hungarian Slovak Chinese
Spanish Dutch Czech Polish
German Portuguese (Brazil) Turkish
Swedish Italian Romanian
Go to Menu and click Language.
Select a language in the list.
Changes are automatically applied.
Restoring the default layout
Go to Menu and select View.
In case of any problem, tick Restore default layout.

How to check the status of the battery pack
Click the tab Status.
Click Read.
• Temperature
• Voltage
• Current
A green tick indicates that measurements are in optimum condition.
How to get information about the battery pack
Click the tab Identification.
The green tick at the bottom of the screen indicates the battery pack is correctly connected.
Click Read.
• Battery reference
• Serial number
• Manufacturing date
• State Of Health (SOH)
The State Of Health (SOH) measures the condition of the battery pack compared to its ideal conditions.
It enables to know if the battery pack should be replaced or not.
• State Of Charge (SOC)
The State Of Charge (SOC) is the level of charge of the battery pack relative to its capacity.
• Number of charges (since the manufacturing date)
Green-colored boxes indicate that the battery pack is in optimum condition.

How to get statistics on the battery pack
Click the tab Statistics.
Click Read.
• Average (%) of the battery pack load (SOC) when plugged to charger
• Average (%) of the battery pack load (SOC) when unplugged from charger
How to put the battery pack into Deep Sleep mode
Click the tab Identification.
Click the button Deep sleep mode.
To wake up the battery pack, plug it to the battery pack charger.

Trouble-shooting
When a problem occurs, a red tick is displayed.
Short indications are displayed describing the cause and giving solutions to fix the problem.
Temperature
Battery pack is too hot. Let the battery pack cool down.
Battery pack is too cold. Follow the instructions given in the chapter Storage and use
conditions.
Battery pack is too hot.
Permanently disabled, to be replaced.
Replace the battery pack.
Voltage
Overvoltage Wait for self-discharge.
Deep discharge Very low charge.
Battery pack temporarily disabled.
Quickly plug the battery pack to the charger.
Very deep discharge Deep discharge.
Battery pack permanently discharged.
Replace the battery pack.
Current
Current has a red tick in the screen Status. Long press the gauge button (more than 8 seconds).
Or plug the battery pack to the charger.
