Engineered specifically for weighing obese and unsteady patients, Detecto’s 6855 and 6868 portable high-capacity scales offer more features than any other scale in their
class. Heavy-duty, yet lightweight, these scales’ balanced design makes them easy to move.
Both models feature low-profile platforms with non-skid surface and sturdy handrails with
padded grips. The unique patent pending design of the 6868 offers an extra-large, 34” x
32” platform with flip seat, enabling patients to be weighed standing or sitting, whichever
is most comfortable.
Our digital weight indicator is the industry’s most advanced, with easy to use “quick weigh”
keys, plus Body Mass Index calculation. The auto-zero function ensures accurate weight each
time without having to press the zero key; the display “hold” feature retains weight so you
can attend to the patient first, then record the weight. Powered by your choice of either
batteries or AC adapter, these scales also have auto-off function to conserve energy.
