!Always plug directly into a wall socket. Never
use the device with an extension cord as
overloading may result in the cord overheating
or catching re.
!Do not unplug by pulling the cord from
the socket. To unplug, grasp the plug,
not the cord.
!Do not handle any part of the plug with
wet hands.
!Do not use the device with a damaged
cord or plug. If the cord is damaged it must
be replaced.
!Do not allow the area around the device to
become damp or wet. Do not allow absorbent
materials, such as carpeting, curtains, drapes,
or tablecloths, to become damp.
!If the device is not working properly, has
received a sharp blow, has been dropped or
damaged, do not use the device.
!Do not use the device on a soft or unstable
surface. ALWAYS PLACE THE DEVICE ON A
FIRM, FLAT, LEVEL SURFACE.
!DO NOT COVER THE DEVICE WHILE

!Never leave water in the reservoir when not in
use. Empty and clean before storage. Clean
before next use.
!Turn off all controls before unplugging.
Always unplug the device if not in use
and while lling or cleaning.
!For best performance, place the device
on the oor at least 3 feet from any wall
or device.

!THIS DEVICE IS INTENDED FOR
HOUSEHOLD AND INDOOR USE ONLY.
!Warning: Micro-organisms that may be
present in the water or in the environment
where the device is used or stored, can grow
in the water reservoir and be blown into the
air causing very serious health risks when
the water is not renewed and the tank is not
cleaned properly every 3 days.
!If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid
a hazard.
!The input voltage is 220-240V, 50-60Hz
!Be aware that high humidity levels may
encourage the growth of biological
organisms in the environment.
!Use only as described in the instruction
manual. Do not carry out any maintenance
other than that shown in this guide or as
advised by customer support. Any other use
not recommended by the manufacturer may
cause re, electric shock or injury.
!Ensure the device is fully assembled
in accordance with the instructions
before use.
!Do not move the device while it is plugged
in or powered on. Make sure the device is
powered off and unplugged before moving.
!Remove the HOCl Generator before moving
the device to avoid spilling water inside the
device. If water is spilled while moving, wipe
the device dry with a clean cloth and allow it
to dry before use.
!DO NOT LOCATE DIRECTLY BELOW A
MAIN ELECTRICITY SUPPLY SOCKET.
!This device is not recommended for
use by children under the age of 8, and
children and vulnerable consumers should
have adequate supervision or instruction
when interacting with the device.
!Do not use the device on wet surfaces or
outdoors. Do not use in bathrooms. Never
operate the device where it may fall in the
bath or other water container. Do not use
or store it where it may get wet or in the
immediate surroundings of a bath, shower
or swimming pool.
!Do not pour water into any openings
except for the water tank. When relling,
only do so as described in this guide.

!This device may have hot parts inside.
Do not use in areas where fuel, paint or

Quick Start
Take off bottom cover,
remove H13 true HEPA
lter from plastic bag, and
install in device. Replace
the bottom cover.
Remove the CEF by
unlocking it from the
generator.
Replace the CEF and
lock it into the bottom
of the HOCl Generator.
Wipe the exterior dry
and place it back in the
base. Using the handle,
turn the HOCl generator
and lock it in place.
Replace top cover.
Connect the AC adapter
to the device, plug into
an outlet, and press the
power button to turn on.
Remove top cover
to access the HOCl
Generator.
Grasp the handle
and turn the HOCl
Generator to unlock
it and remove it
from the device.

Cleaning Your Aaira + HEPA
The device should be cleaned regularly. Clean the HOCl Generator with fresh water.
Use a clean, dry cloth for the external surfaces of the device. If water stays in the HOCl
Generator for 7 days follow the alert process.

5. Add 1 scoop total (1 gram)

Descaling
Lime scale builds up in the device over
time. To ensure the best performance,
descale monthly.
What to do:
1. Power off device
2. Empty HOCl Generator
3. Take out the CEF
4. Add 200ml (7 oz) of 5% white
vinegar; leave for 1 hour
(do not turn device power on)
5. Empty and clean HOCl Generator
with fresh water
