• Disconnect the controller from the power supply before carrying out any
maintenance.

• Blinds should be stowed before maneuvering to ensure no restriction of the
driver vision.

• The controller must only be installed, removed or repaired by qualified or
competent person using suitable fastening material.
ANOTICE!
Damage hazard
• Blinds should be stowed completely when boat or vehicle is under way.
• Check that the supply voltage is 24 Vg.
• Only use cables with a suitable cross-section.
• Use screws and plugs suitable for the wall construction to fix the controller.
• Ensure that you do not drill through the wall.
3 Intended use
The controller can control window blinds, day/night blinds or roof blinds with
specific software.
This product is only suitable for the intended purpose and application in accor-
dance with these instructions.
This manual provides information that is necessary for proper installation and/or
operation of the product. Poor installation and/or improper operating or main-
tenance will result in unsatisfactory performance and a possible failure.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injury or damage to the product
resulting from:
• Incorrect assembly or connection, including excess voltage
• Incorrect maintenance or use of spare parts other than original spare parts
provided by the manufacturer
• Alterations to the product without express permission from the manufacturer

4 Technical description
The controller can be controlled by either RTS protocol transmitters or push but-
ton inputs. It has two motor output channels.
The controller has a built-in self-resetting over current protection. The runtime for
the motor outputs can be adjusted to suit the application.
4.1 Status LED

➤Choose an accessible installation location to allow connection and setting of
the DIP switches.
➤Mount the controller.

The electrical power supply must be connected by a qualified electrician who
has demonstrated skill and knowledge related to the construction and opera-
tion of electrical equipment and installations and has received safety training to
identify and avoid the hazards involved.

5.1 Connecting the controller
➤Connect the controller as shown in the wiring diagram.
Input signals
The controller should be connected to a regulated 24 Vgpower supply
(fig. 14) rated at max. 5 A.
Normally Open (N/O) push buttons can be connected to the connection termi-
nals (fig. 14). Transmitters from the Somfy Telis range with RTS radio protocol
can be loaded onto the control system. The system can accept up to a maximum
of 36 transmitters.
There are three push buttons on the circuit board to enable easy commissioning
of the system.

Output signals
The polarity of the motor wires depends on whether the motor is left or right
hand mounted. During an UP command, motor output A goes to the positive
signal and motor output B goes to the negative signal. The motors should be
connected accordingly.
5.2 Setting the runtime
DIP switches DIP 1, DIP 2, DIP 3 and DIP 4 set the time period that the motors run
for on receipt of a command. The preset minimum time is 5 seconds. This can be
increased in increments as shown in the following table up to a maximum of
80 seconds.
5.3 Setting the operating mode
There are two operating modes: RFB for roof blinds and DNC for window blinds.
Upon receiving a command, the output relays energize in a set sequence to con-
trol the motors fitted to the blinds.
Any subsequent commands received during runtime are treated as a stop com-
mand. Since the motors may have already stopped on their own limit switches,
this can cause confusion to the operator. Therefore, the runtime has to be as
close as possible to the actual runtime of the blind with an additional tolerance
due to fluctuations in motor speed.

5.4 Adding and deleting transmitters
Up to 36 transmitters from the Somfy Telis range can be connected to the con-
troller using the program button (fig. 15).
5.4.1 Adding transmitters
1. Press and hold the program button (fig. 15) for 2 seconds until the
receiver LED lights up briefly.
2. Within 2 minutes press the Prog button on the back of the transmitter.
✔The receiver LED (fig. 14) flashes 7 times to confirm that the transmitter has
been added.
Repeat this process for further transmitters.
5.4.2 Deleting transmitters
1. Press and hold the program button (fig. 15) for 2 seconds until the
receiver LED (fig. 14) lights up briefly.
2. Within 2 minutes press the Prog button on the back of the transmitter.
✔The receiver LED (fig. 14) flashes 7 times to confirm that the transmitter has
been deleted.
Repeat this process for further transmitters.
➤To delete all transmitters on the system, press and hold the program button
(fig. 15) for approx. 7 seconds.
✔After 2 seconds the receiver LED (fig. 14) lights up continuously.
✔The receiver LED (fig. 14) flashes 1 time to confirm that all transmitters have
been deleted.

The blinds automatically stop at the end of travel limit. Pressing any button while
the motor outputs are still active stops the movement.
➤Press the MY button to close the DAY blind.
✔The window is semi-obscured.
➤Press the DOWN button to close the NIGHT blind.
✔The window is fully obscured.

➤Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins wherever pos-
sible.
➤Consult a local recycling center or specialist dealer for details about how to dispose
of the product in accordance with the applicable disposal regulations.
➤The product can be disposed free of charge.
