PORTABLE POWER PRODUCT WARRANTY
Doosan Benelux SA, through its distributor, warrants that each
item of equipment manufactured by it and delivered hereunder to
the initial user will be free of defects in material and workmanship
for a period
of three (3) months from initial operation or six (6) months from
the date of shipment to the initial user, whichever occurs first.
With respect to the following types of equipment, the warranty
period enumerated below will apply in lieu of the foregoing war-
ranty period.
WARRANTY TOOLS
DOOSAN BENELUX SA warrants to its authorized dealers, who
in turn warrant to the end-user/owner that each new tools will be
free from proven defects in material and workmanship for twelve
(12) months from the date of delivery to the end-user/owner.
Service schedules must be adhered to, documented and genuine
parts / lubricants must be used where applicable. The warranty
does not cover oils and lubricants and latch front head assembly
springs seals dampeners.
During the warranty period, the authorized Doosan Infracore
dealer shall repair or replace, at DOOSAN BENELUX SA option,
without charge for parts and labor of mechanics, any part of the
product which fails because of defects in material or workman-
ship. The end user/owner shall provide the authorized Doosan
Infracore dealer with prompt written notice of the defect and allow
reasonable time for replacement or repair. DOOSAN BENELUX
SA may, at its option, request failed parts to be returned to the
factory. Transportation of the product to the authorized Doosan
Infracore dealer for warranty work is the responsibility of the end
user/ owner.
The warranty does not apply to trade accessories not manufac-
tured by DOOSAN BENELUX SA. The owner shall rely solely on
the warranty, if any, of the respective manufacturers thereof. The
warranty does not cover replacement of scheduled service items
such as oil, filters, tune-up parts, and other high wear items. The
warranty does not cover damages resulting from abuse, acci-
dents, alterations, air flow obstructions, or failure to maintain or
use the product according to the instructions applicable to it.
DOOSAN BENELUX SA EXCLUDES OTHER CONDITIONS,
WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS OF ALL
KINDS, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR
OTHERWISE (EXCEPT THAT OF TITLE) INCLUDING ALL
IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS RELATING TO
MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY AND FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
CORRECTIONS BY DOOSAN BENELUX SA OF
NONCONFORMITIES WHETHER PATENT OR LATENT, IN THE
MANNER AND FOR THE TIME PERIOD PROVIDED ABOVE,
SHALL CONSTITUTE FULFILMENT OF ALL LIABILITIES OF
DOOSAN TRADING LTD FOR SUCH NONCONFORMITIES,
WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT,
NEGLIGENCE, INDEMNITY, STRICT LIABILITY OR
OTHERWISE WITH RESPECT TO OR ARISING OUT OF SUCH
PRODUCT.
THE REMEDIES OF THE END-USER/OWNER SET FORTH
UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE WARRANTY OUTLINED
ABOVE ARE EXCLUSIVE AND THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF
DOOSAN BENELUX SA INCLUDING ANY HOLDING,
SUBSIDIARY, ASSOCIATED OR AFFILIATED COMPANY OR
DISTRIBUTOR WITH RESPECT TO THIS SALE OR THE
PRODUCT AND SERVICE FURNISHED HEREUNDER IN
CONNECTION WITH THE PERFORMANCE OR BREACH
THEREOF, OR FROM DELIVERY, INSTALLATION, REPAIR
OR TECHNICAL DIRECTION COVERED BY OR FURNISHED
UNDER THIS SALE, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT,
WARRANTY, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, INDEMNITY, STRICT
LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE
PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT UPON WHICH SUCH
LIABILITY IS BASED.
DOOSAN BENELUX SA INCLUDING ANY HOLDING,
SUBSIDIARY, ASSOCIATED OR AFFILIATED COMPANY AND
DISTRIBUTOR SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE TO THE END-
USER/OWNER, ANY SUCCESSORS IN INTEREST OR ANY
BENEFICIARY OR ASSIGNEE RELATING TO THIS SALE FOR
ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL OR
PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THIS SALE OR BY ANY
BREACH THEREOF, OR ANY DEFECT IN, OR FAILURE OF,
OR MALFUNCTION OF THE PRODUCT UNDER THIS SALE,
WHETHER BASED UPON LOSS OF USE, LOST PROFITS OR
REVENUE, INTEREST, LOST GOODWILL, WORK STOPPAGE,
IMPAIRMENT OF OTHER GOODS, LOSS BY REASON OF
SHUTDOWN OR NON-OPERATION, INCREASED EXPENSES
OF OPERATION OR CLAIMS OF USER OR CUSTOMERS OF
THE USER FOR SERVICE INTERRUPTION WHETHER OR
NOT SUCH LOSS OR DAMAGE IS BASED ON CONTRACT,
WARRANTY, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, INDEMNITY, STRICT
LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE.
I. 1. Construction Tools, (Portable Power range only) – Twelve
months from shipment to initial user. Doosan Benelux SA
will provide a new part or repaired part, at it’s sole discre-
tion, in place of any part which is found to be defective
in material or workmanship during the period described
above. Labour cost to replace the part is the responsibility
of the initial user.
2. Construction Tools Limited Extended Warranty, (Portable
Power range only) – Thirty-six (36) months from shipment
to initial user. This extended warranty is automatically avail-
able only when the tool is registered with Doosan Benelux
SA by completing and submitting the Warranty Registration
form. Doosan Benelux SA will provide a new part or
repaired part, at it’s sole discretion, in place of any part
which is found to be defective in material or workmanship
during the period described above. Labour cost to replace
the part is the responsibility of the initial user.
J. Spare Parts – Six (6) months from date of shipment to the
initial user. Doosan Benelux SA will provide a new part or
repaired part, at its sole discretion, in place of any part
that is found to be defective in material and workman-
ship during the period described above. Such parts will
be repaired or replaced without charge to the initial user
during normal working hours at the place of business of an
Doosan Benelux SA distributor authorised to sell the type
of equipment involved or other establishment authorised by
Doosan Benelux SA. User must present proof of purchase
at the time of exercising warranty. The above warranties
do not apply to failures occurring as a result of abuse; mis-
use, negligent repairs, corrosion, erosion and normal wear
and tear, alterations or modifications made to the product
without express written consent of Doosan Benelux SA; or
failure to follow the recommended operating practices and
maintenance procedures as provided in the products oper-
ating and maintenance publications.
Accessories or equipment furnished by Doosan Benelux SA, but
manufactured by others, including, but not limited to, engines, tires,
batteries, engine electrical equipment, hydraulic transmissions,
carriers, shall carry only the manufacturers warranty, which Doosan
Benelux SA can lawfully assign to the initial user.
THE ABOVE WARRANTIES ARE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER
WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, (EXCEPT THAT TO
TITLE, AND THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT
ABILITY OR OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

PLACING TOOL IN SERVICE
LUBRICATION
Always use an air line lubricator with these tools.
We recommend the following Lubricator–Unit and Lubricant.
In Line Lubricator: CPN: 35371111
Lubricant: Protec Engine Oil CPN: 85448405
Attach the lubricator as close to the tool as pratical.
After every hour of operation and at the beginning of each
work shift, if an air line lubricator is not used, disconnect the
air hose and pour about 3 cc of oil into the air inlet of the tool.
Before storing the tool or if the tool is to be idle for a period
exceeding twenty-four hours, about 3 cc of oil into the air inlet
and operate the tool for 5 seconds to coat the internal parts
with oil.
Failure to properly lubricate the tool will lead piston damage
and could utimately cause material failure
INSTALLATION
Air Supply and Connections
Always use clean, dry lubricated air. Dust, corrosive fumes
and/or excessive moisture can ruin the motor of an air tool.
An air line filter can greatly increase the life of an air tool.
The filter removes dust and moisture.
Make sure all hoses and fittings are the correct size and
are tightly secured. See diagram PP1 for a typical piping
arrangement.
The tool is shipped from the factory with 3/4“ NPT male inlet
thread and quick release coupling.
OPERATION
Accessory Installation
Always turn off the air supply and disconnect the air
supply hose before installing, removing or adjusting any
accessory on this tool or before
performing any maintenance on this tool.
Failure to do so could result in injury.
Retainer
1. Operate the Retainer until it is approximately 90 degrees
to the body of the tool.
2. Insert the accessory into the tool.
3. Operate the Retainer until it is parallel to the tool and it
clicks into position.
Do not repair the tool at the work site. Always take the tool
to a repair shop. Never drag the tool on the ground.
The air port and other openings will become clogged with
dirt and debris.
Compressed air is dangerous. When blowing the line clear
of dirt, wear eye protection and keep the air line directed
toward a safe, clear area.
Always blow out the air line before using to clear the line of
dirt.
Do not operate the tool unless the chisel is against the work
surface since this will cause premature wear of parts.
Always break material to the point of “give”. Cracking does
not result in a complete break.
Clear away rubble as it is broken since uncleared rubble
blocks the point of “give”.
Always take the right size “bite” with the tool. When working
new material, experiment to find the right size “bite” required
for breaking that material efficiently.
If “bites” are too big, the operator will try to pry with the
tool. This could break the chisel. The tool is designed
for demolition, not prying. Always use a pick for prying.
If “bites” are to small, the operator will be working too
slowly.
If the chisel or accessory should become stuck, do not use
excessive force or mechanical means on the tool to pull out
the chisel. Break out the stuck chisel with a spare chisel or
tool.

VIBRATION LEVEL SAFETY INFO
The vibration level of the hammer during use is over 2.5m/s². The operator must adapt his daily working time, in accordance
with the vibration levels of tools used. It is absolutely forbidden to absorb more vibration on a daily basis, than is permitted by
regulation.
• Exposure points per hour. The number if exposure points for every hour of exposure time for the individual tool or process.
• Time to reach EAV (exposure action value). This is the total exposure time required for the individual tool or process, before
the exposure action value (2.5 m/s2 A(8) or 100 points) is reached.
• Time to reach ELV (exposure limit value). This is the total exposure time required for the individual tool or process, before
the exposure limit value (5 m/s2 A(8) or 400 points) is reached.
