whenever these feel dry, to
ensure the pads will provide
a comfortable, powerful and
eective treatment.
• The simultaneous connection
of a patient to high frequency
surgical equipment may result in
burns where the electrode pads
have been attached and possibly
damage the operating console.
• Do not leave pads attached to
the skin after treatment.
• Placement of the electrode pads
and stimulation settings should
be based on the instructions of
the prescribing practitioner.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Do not share electrode pads with
anyone else because this may
cause skin irritation or infection.
People should have their own set
of pads for personal use.
IMPORTANT:
Both of the pads in a set must
be placed on the body at the
same time in order to work.
Make sure the pads are not
touching each other because
otherwise no impulses will be
felt.
Stop using the pads if the individual
packaging has been open for more
than three months, or if the pads
lose their adhesiveness.
PRECAUTIONS  WIRES
• Do not bend or pull the end of
the wires.
• Replace wires when broken or
damaged.
• Long wires have the potential
to strangulate. Be careful when
using these in the neck and
shoulder areas.
• Make sure the wires are properly
plugged into the Pain Therapy
Device and, when using the pads,
that the pads are stuck tightly
onto the skin area you wish to
treat to ensure eective therapy.
NOTE:
Do not treat one area for extended
periods of time (more than 40
minutes per session, up to 3 times
per day) because your muscles in
that region may become exhausted
and sore.
Only use the original electrode
pads, gel and wires supplied by
the manufacturer because other
electrode pads and wires may not
be electrically compatible with your
device.
ADVERSE REACTIONS
You may experience:
1. skin irritation or hypersensitivity
due to the electrical stimulation
or Conductive Gel;
2. skin irritation and burns
underneath the elektrode pads
when applied to the skin.

INFORMATION ON INTENDED USE
DR-HO’S Triple Action Back Belt is an
innovative back pain belt with inte-
grated electrodes which you operate
using the DR-HO’S operating console
(model P.T.S.-IIB). The device has been
developed to bring relief to tense or
sti muscles and muscle and nerve
pain. It works by electrically stimulating
the nerves on the surface of the skin
and in the painful area. The Triple Acti-
on Back Belt can be used successfully
in combination with other types of
treatment and medication. Paramedics
like physiotherapists and chiropractors
have already been using neuromus-
cular electrical stimulation (NMES) for
decades.
How does it work?
Scientific theories state that therapy
involving electrostimulation can be
eective in several dierent ways:
1. The subtle electrical impulses pass
through the skin to nearby nerves,
thereby preventing the pain signal
from reaching the brain from the
source of the pain.
2.The electrical impulses stimulate
the production of the body’s natural
painkillers, such as endorphins and
serotonin.
3.Electrical stimulation is also belie-
ved to improve blood circulation.
The muscles contract and relax to
the rhythm of the electrostimulation
and doing this repeatedly enhances
blood flow and therefore stimulates
your circulation.
DR-HO’S Triple Action Back Belt
includes Auto-Modulating Pulse (AMP)
technology, adding variety to the treat-
ment to prevent your body becoming
accustomed to it and any reduction in
its eectiveness.
This product is certified as medical
device in the European Union under
the Medical Device Directive 93/42/
EEC by SGS CE1639, exclusively for
the indication(s) of relief of pain asso-
ciated with sore or aching muscles.
Other non-medical uses escribed to
this device are not within the scope of
CE certification.
Users should be aware product per-
formance and/or safety has not been
evaluated by SGS for non-medical
purposes.

How do I personalize the therapy? You select program and intensity yourself.
How long should I use the device
and how often?
Each session should last 30 to 40 minutes. No more than 3
sessions per day.
When should I stop using it? When the pain has subsided or stopped, if treatment is
uncomfortable, in the event of an adverse reaction, and if
the condition worsens.
Note: many people experience
immediate relief while others require
regular use to feel the benefits. The
results vary and will depend on your
underlying conditions and how often
you use the device. If your pain does
not subside, you can try increasing
the intensity or you can change the
program.

BATTERIES
Insert 2 AAA batteries before use:
1. Remove the battery cover on the
back.
2. Insert batteries correctly so that the
markings correspond.
3. Refit the battery cover.
Important Notes
Low battery power will cause the
device to lose its eectiveness. Please
change to new batteries whenever
stimulation weakens.
If the indicator lights fade, or if the
stimulation feels weak on your skin,
this may be an indication of low battery
power.
WARNING!
Do not dispose of the batteries with
normal household waste, but hand
them in at an ocial collection point in
accordance with local regulations go-
verning the disposal of such materials.
Note: To avoid battery corrosion, remo-
ve the batteries from the device if not
used for 4 weeks or more.
If the device is used once a day for
about 30 minutes per treatment, one
pair of AAA Alkaline batteries should
last 3 to 6 months.
We recommend the use of Alkaline
batteries because they provide a
steady power level until it runs out.
Non-Alkaline and rechargeable batte-
ries have a tendency to decrease in
power level over time, and you might
mistakenly think the device is not wor-
king right because the treatment is not
as strong.

ELECTRODE PAD USER GUIDELINES
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
• Wash skin thoroughly and then dry
it before applying the electrode
body pads.
• Apply the whole surface of the elec-
trode pads firmly to the skin.
• Do not use electrode pads that do
not stick properly to the skin, or
only partially stick to the skin.
• If the skin looks red after treatment,
you should not treat that area until
the redness has disappeared.
• The electrode pads can be re-used
30 to 50 times depending on your
skin type and other conditions.
Whenever you notice that the pads
are not sticking properly to your
skin, or if the pads feel dry, you

• Use a wet cloth or neutral cleanser
to wipe the surface.
• Do not use volatile liquids such as
alcohol, thinner or gasoline.
• Keep well away from moisture, high
temperatures, direct sunlight or
water droplets.
• Please do not disassemble, repair
or rebuild the device yourself
because this will invalidate the
warranty.

small amount of DR-HO’S Electro
Therapy Conductive Gel using the
spray bottle (do not wash them with
water directly). This will help restore
the adhesiveness and conductivity
of the electrode pads. If moiste-
ning the pads fails to make them
sticky again, they may need to be
replaced.

Electrode body pads:
• Keep the electrode pads clean
and never expose them to high
temperature and direct sunshine.
• Keep the electrode pads at
temperatures of 5~40°C.
• Gently clean the electrode pads
with a moist cloth or use a brush to
remove dust.
• Do not clean the pads with hot
water or chemicals.
• Do not touch the gel of the pads
with your fingers, as this could
reduce their adhesiveness.

• Aan de zijkanten van het hoofd,
aangezien niet bekend is welk
eect elektrostimulatie op de
hersenen heeft.
• Op uw hoofd, gezicht, hals en keel
of tegelijkertijd op beide zijden van
de borstkas.
• Voor het stimuleren van zenuwen
rond de halsslagader, van de
voorzijde van uw hals of van uw
mond. Dit kan leiden tot ernstige
spierspasmes met luchtwegafslui-
ting, ademhalingsmoeilijkheden,
hartritmestoornissen of een hoge
bloeddruk.
• Op uw borst, omdat elektrische
stimulans van de hartspier kan
leiden tot hartritmestoornissen.
• Op open wonden, huiduitslag,
gezwollen, rode, geïnfecteerde of

apparaat niet goed werkt of als u
ongemak ervaart.
• Gebruik het apparaat alleen
waarvoor het is bedoeld.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet in de
buurt van een mobiele telefoon,
omdat dit de werking van het
bedieningsconsole kan verstoren.
• Gooi batterijen nooit in vuur om
ontplongsgevaar te voorkomen.
• Afvoer van het apparaat, de
batterijen en andere onderdelen
dient volgens de wettelijke voor-
schriften te gebeuren; illegale
afvoer kan milieuvervuiling veroor-
zaken.
VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN
LICHAAMSPADS
• Breng de elektrodepads uitsluitend
aan op een normale, gezonde,
droge en schone huid. Breng ze
niet aan op wonden of beschadig-
de huid, want dit zou het gene-
zingsproces kunnen verstoren.
• Als u tijdens een behandeling de
elektrodepads naar een ander deel
van uw lichaam wilt verplaatsen, zet
het apparaat dan eerst uit, ver-
plaats de pads en zet de behande-
ling voort.
• Houd metalen elementen die
geleidend zijn, zoals halskettingen,
riemen en ringen, uit de buurt van
de lichaamspads tijdens de behan-
deling.
• Buig of plooi de elektrodepads niet,
want dit kan de geleiding verstoren.
• Bewaar de elektrodepads op het
transparante beschermfolie als u ze
niet gebruikt.
• Zorg dat er géén crème of andere
middelen op de pads of op uw huid
zitten; dit zal het plakvermogen én
de werking van de pads negatief
beïnvloeden. De elektrodepads zijn
van een gellaag voorzien om goed
op de huid aan te sluiten als deze
vochtig is.
• Als de pads droog aanvoelen,
breng dan enig DR-HO’S Electro
Therapy Conductive Gel aan, zodat
de pads een comfortabele, krachti-
ge en eectieve behandeling
bieden.
• Gelijktijdig gebruik van de bedie-
ningsconsole én aansluiting op
hoogfrequente, chirurgische
apparatuur kan brandwonden op
de locatie van de elektrodepads
veroorzaken en de bedieningscon-
sole beschadigen.
• De elektrodepads mogen elkaar
niet raken tijdens behandelingen
op het lichaam.
• Verwijder de elektrodepads direct
na gebruik van uw huid.
• Volg de aanwijzingen van uw arts
met betrekking tot het plaatsen van
de elektrodepads en de intensiteit
van de behandelingen.
• Elektrodepads zijn bedoeld voor
persoonlijk gebruik, om huidirritatie
en besmetting te voorkomen. Ieder
persoon dient altijd zijn eigen
elektrodepads te gebruiken.
BELANGRIJK
Beide elektrodepads van één set
dienen tegelijkertijd op het lichaam te
worden geplaatst. Alleen dan zal het
apparaat functioneren. Let erop dat
de elektrodepads elkaar niet raken.
Als dat toch het geval is, voelt u geen
pulsen.
Stop het gebruik van de lichaams-
pads als de verpakking langer dan 3
maanden geopend is geweest of als
de elektrodepads hun plakvermogen
hebben verloren. U kunt nieuwe sets
elektrodepads aanschaen via de
website van uw leverancier.

VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN
SNOEREN
• Trek niet aan het uiteinde van een
snoer.
• Is een snoer gebroken of bescha-
digd, vervang het dan direct door
een nieuw snoer.
• Lange snoeren leveren gevaar op
voor verwurging. Wees voorzichtig
wanneer u de elektrodepads
gebruikt nabij uw nek en schou-
ders.
• Voor een doeltreende behande-
ling is het belangrijk dat de stekker
correct in de bedieningsconsole zit,
de snoeren verbonden zijn en de

DR-HO’S Triple Action Back Belt is
een innovatieve ruggesteungordel
met geïntegreerde elektroden die u
bedient met behulp van de DR-HO’S
bedieningsconsole model P.T.S.-
IIB. Het systeem is ontwikkeld om
verlichting te brengen bij gespannen
of stramme spieren en spier- en
zenuwpijn. Het stimuleert de zenuwen
op het huidoppervlak en in het pijnlijke
gebied elektrisch. De Triple Action
Back Belt kan met succes worden
gebruikt in combinatie met andere
vormen van behandeling en medicatie.
Paramedici zoals fysiotherapeuten
en chiropractors maken al tientallen
jaren gebruik van neuromusculaire
elektrische stimulatie (NMES).
Hoe werkt het?
Wetenschappelijke theorieën stellen
dat therapie met elektrostimulatie op
verschillende manieren eectief kan
zijn:
1. De subtiele elektrische impulsen
gaan door de huid naar nabijgelegen
zenuwen, waardoor wordt
voorkomen dat het pijnsignaal de
hersenen bereikt vanaf de bron van
de pijn.
2.De elektrische impulsen stimuleren
de aanmaak van de natuurlijke
pijnstillers van het lichaam, zoals
endorfine en serotonine.

BATTERIJEN
Plaats 2 AAA-batterijen vóór
gebruik:
1. Verwijder het batterijklepje aan de
achterkant.
2. Plaats de batterijen zoals
aangegeven.
3. Plaats het batterijklepje terug.
Belangrijke opmerkingen
Als de batterij bijna leeg is, werkt het
apparaat minder goed. Vervang de
batterijen wanneer de werking van
het apparaat minder wordt. U kunt het
beste alkalinebatterijen gebruiken.
Als de lampjes minder fel gaan
branden of het stimuleren minder
eectief aanvoelt, kan dit betekenen
dat de batterijen bijna leeg zijn.
WAARSCHUWING!
Vervang batterijen alleen door
nieuwe batterijen van hetzelfde type,
zoals aanbevolen door de fabrikant:
2 x 1,5 V AAA-alkalinebatteriijen.
Gooi de batterijen niet weg met het
huishoudelijk afval, maar lever ze
in bij een afvalinzamelingslocatie
in overeenstemming met de lokale
regelgeving voor afvalverwerking.
Let op: Verwijder de batterijen uit het
apparaat als u het langer dan 4 weken

RICHTLIJNEN VOOR HET GEBRUIK VAN ELEKTRODEPADS
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
• Was en droog uw huid voordat u de
elektrodepads aanbrengt.
• Druk het hele oppervlak van de
elektrodepads stevig op de huid.
• Gebruik de elektrodepads niet als ze
niet of slechts gedeeltelijk op de huid
blijven zitten.
• Als uw huid rood is na de behande-
ling, mag u het gebied pas weer
behandelen als de roodheid is
weggetrokken.
• U kunt de elektrodepads 30 tot 50
keer gebruiken, aankelijk van onder
andere uw huidtype. Als u merkt dat
de pads niet meer goed op de huid
blijven plakken of droog aanvoelen,
kunt u ze met de sprayflacon met DR-
DR-HO’S Triple Action Back Belt en
de bedieningsconsole:
• Gebruik een vochtige doek of
neutraal schoonmaakmiddel om het
oppervlak schoon te vegen.
• Gebruik geen vluchtige vloeistoen
zoals alcohol, thinner of wasbenzine.
• Vermijd vocht, hoge temperaturen,
direct zonlicht en waterdruppels.
• Probeer het apparaat niet zelf uit
elkaar te halen, te repareren of
aan te passen. Hierdoor vervalt de
garantie.
HO’S Electro Therapy Conductive Gel
bevochtigen.
Door het bevochtigen herstelt u
het vermogen van het zellevende
oppervlak en het geleidingsvermogen
van de elektrodepads. Als de pads
ook na het bevochtigen niet meer
blijven plakken, moeten ze worden
vervangen.
Ga voor het bestellen van andere DR-
HO’S producten, nieuwe lichaamspads
of de gepatenteerde DR-HO’S Electro
Therapy Conductive Gel naar de
website van uw leverancier.
Elektrode lichaamspads:
• Houd de pads schoon en stel ze
niet bloot aan hoge temperaturen
of direct zonlicht.
• Bewaar de elektrodepads bij een
temperatuur tussen de 5 en 40 °C.
• Maak de pads voorzichtig schoon
met een vochtige doek of borsteltje.
• Gebruik geen heet water of
chemische middelen.
• Raak de gel op de pads niet met uw
vingers aan om te voorkomen dat
ze minder goed gaan plakken.

ment sur une peau normale, sai-
ne, propre et sèche. N’appliquez
pas un patch sur une blessure ou
une peau endommagée, car cela
pourrait aecter le processus de

• Si vous souhaitez déplacer les
patchs vers un autre endroit
du corps en cours de séance,
éteignez d’abord l’appareil puis
déplacez les patchs et poursui-
vez la séance.
• Pendant le traitement, veillez à
ce que les objets métalliques-
conducteurs tels que colliers,
ceintures, bagues, etc. soient
tenus à l’écart des patchs.
• Ne pliez pas les patchs car
cela risque d’aecter leur bon
fonctionnement.
• Lorsque vous ne les utilisez pas,
placez toujours les patchs sur le
film protecteur transparent.
• Ne passez aucun solvant ni au-
cun liquide autre que de gel ou
l’eau sur les patchs ou sur votre
peau, car cela peut aecter l’ad-
hérence des patchs et leur fonc-
tionnement correct. Les patchs
sont préenduits de gel adhérant
à la peau lorsqu’il est humide.
• Appliquez toujours quelques
pulvérisations de gel conducteur
sur la surface collante des élec-
trodes chaque fois qu’elles sem-
blent sèches, pour vous assurer
que les coussinets fourniront un
traitement confortable, puissant
et ecace.
• Assurez-vous que le fil est bien
relié à l’appareil, que les fils sont
bien connectés et que les patchs
adhèrent bien à la peau de la
zone à traiter pour obtenir un
résultat ecace.
• La connexion simultanée d’une
personne à un équipement chi-
rurgical à haute fréquence peut
entraîner des brûlures à l’endroit
où sont appliquées les électro-
des du boîtier de programmation
amovible et endommager
• Ne laissez pas les patchs sur la

PRÉCAUTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ INDICATIONS D’UTILISATION
DR-HO’S Triple Action Back Belt est
une ceinture lombaire innovante avec
électrodes intégrées commandées
depuis la console DR-HO’S modèle
P.T.S-IIB. Elle a été conçue pour soulager
les tensions ou raideurs musculaires et
les douleurs musculaires ou nerveuses.
Son fonctionnement repose sur l’élec-
trostimulation des nerfs à la surface
de la peau et à proximité de l’endroit
douloureux. DR-HO’S Triple Action Back
Belt peut très bien s’utiliser en combinai-
son avec d’autres formes de traitement
et de médicaments. Les paramédicaux
tels que physiothérapeutes et chiroprac-
teurs recourent depuis des décennies
à l’électrostimulation neuromusculaire
(ESNM).
Comment cela fonctionne-t-il ?
Selon plusieurs théories scientifiques,
la thérapie par électrostimulation est e-
cace à plusieurs égards :
1. Les subtiles impulsions électriques
traversent la peau jusqu’aux nerfs
adjacents, empêchant ainsi le signal
de douleur émis depuis la source de
la douleur d’atteindre le cerveau.
2.Les impulsions électriques stimulent
la production d’analgésiques naturels
dans le corps comme les endorphines
et la sérotonine.
3. L’électrostimulation est également
censée améliorer la circulation san-
guine. Les muscles se contractent et
se détendent au rythme de l’électros-
timulation. La contraction et la détente
répétées font auer et refluer le sang,
ce qui stimule la circulation.
DR-HO’S Triple Action Back Belt a été
aussi conçue avec l’impulsion auto-mo-
dulante (AMP). Cette technique apporte
une variété dans le traitement pour
éviter que le corps ne s’adapte et que

Remarque : De nombreuses per-
sonnes ressentent un soulagement
immédiat des douleurs musculaires,
tandis que d’autres ont besoin de plu-
sieurs jours d’utilisation régulière pour
en ressentir les bienfaits. Les résul-
tats varient et dépendent de votre
condition physique et de la fréquence

PILES
Insérez 2 piles AAA avant
l’utilisation:
1. Retirez le couvercle du logement
de piles à l’arrière.
2. Vérifiez la polarité + / - lors de
l’insertion des piles.
3. Remettez le couvercle du logement
de piles en place.
Remarques importantes
L’appareil perd en ecacité au fur et
à mesure que les piles se déchargent.
Changez les piles lorsque la
stimulation devient faible. Les piles
alcalines sont recommandées pour
bénéficier d’une alimentation en
énergie stable.
La baisse d’intensité des témoins
lumineux ou la perte de perception
de la stimulation sur la peau indiquent
que les piles sont faibles.

Remplacez les piles uniquement
par des piles de type identique ou
équivalent, recommandées par le
fabricant: 2 piles alcalines AAA (1,5V).
En fin de vie, ne jetez pas les piles

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
• Appliquez les patchs sur une peau
bien lavée et séchée.
• Plaquez bien toute la surface des
patchs sur la peau. N’utilisez pas de
patchs n’adhérant pas correctement
ou que partiellement à la peau.
• Si la peau est rouge après la séan-
ce de stimulation, n’appliquez pas
de patch à cet endroit tant que la
peau reste rouge.
• Les patchs peuvent être réutilisées
30 à 50 fois, selon votre type de
peau et les conditions d’utilisation.

essence.

l’humidité, des températures
élevées, de la lumière directe du
soleil ou des projections d’eau.
• N’essayez pas de démonter ni de
réparer l’appareil ou de lui apporter
une modification vous-même
au risque de rendre la garantie
caduque.

permet de rétablir l’adhérence et la
conductivité des patchs. Si l’humidi-
fication ne sut pas pour restaurer
l’adhérence des patchs, il faut alors
les remplacer.

Patchs pour le corps :
• Gardez les patchs propres, et ne les
exposez jamais à haute température
ni en plein soleil.
• Conservez les patchs à température
ambiante: 5-40°C.
• Nettoyez doucement les patchs avec
un chion humide ou utilisez une
brosse pour enlever la poussière.
• Ne nettoyez pas les patchs à
l’eau chaude ni avec des produits
chimiques.
• Évitez de poser les doigts sur le gel
des patchs car il tend alors à moins
bien adhérer.
RÉSOLUTION DES PROBLÈMES

Les piles sont faibles. Réglez le sélecteur d’intensité dans le

la peau. Plaquez bien les patchs sur la peau.
La surface gel du patch est sèche
ou souillée. Humidifiez le gel du patch avec ou remplacez-les par de nouveaux patchs.
Votre peau est enduite d’huile ou
de lotion gênant l’adhérence à la
peau.
Lavez votre peau à l’eau et appliquez à
nouveau les patchs.
