your way to getting warm and cosy. Before you start using your throw, please take a
moment to read through the instructions.
Top tip
Wrap yourself underneath this blanket when on the sofa or in your
armchair to keep yourself warm throughout the day or evening.

All plastic and wrapping materials should be kept away from children
and animals to prevent any risk of suffocation. Please familiarise
yourself with the important safety instructions contained within
this manual.

Important safety instructions
When using electrical appliances, in order to reduce the risk of fire, electrical
shock, and / or injury to persons, basic safety precautions should always be
followed including the following:
• Carefully read the manual and keep it for future reference. Familiarise yourself
with the operation of the Heated Blanket and how to use it.
• Connect the Heated Blanket only to sockets with the voltage indicated on the
rating plate (AC only).
• The product can be used by children over 8 years of age. Also, individuals with
reduced physical, sensory, or mental abilities, or a lack of experience and/or
knowledge, provided they've been supervised or instructed on the safe use of
the product and understand the potential dangers.
• Please be particularly careful when using the product near children. Don't allow
them to play with the product. Additionally, don't allow individuals who aren't
familiar with the product to use it without prior instruction.
• This product must not be used by individuals who are sensitive to heat (e.g.
danger of unnoticed burns). Nor by those who wouldn't be able to react to
overheating (e.g. physically restricted individuals who wouldn't be able to free
themselves).
• Children under the age of 3 years must not use this product, as they are unable
to react properly to overheating.
• Inspect the Heated Blanket regularly for signs of wear, tear, or damage.
Do not use it if you spot any of these. Instead, contact a qualified
technician for repairs.
• If the power cord of this product is damaged, it should only be replaced
by a qualified technician to avoid danger.
• Do not use the Heated Blanket in combination with other heating devices.
• Turn off the control panel before inserting or removing the plug. Always remove
the cable by pulling the plug and not the cable.
• The blanket must always be used only in the fully spread condition.
• Do not switch the power on if the blanket is wet or folded.
• Do not leave the product unattended during operation. Turn the switch off and
remove the power plug when the Heated Blanket is not in use or before cleaning
it.
• When storing, fold or roll neatly and without sharp bends in the heating wire. Do
not store other items on top of this blanket. Only store when the blanket has fully
cooled.

• Do not use the Heated Blanket when it’s damp or wet.
• Do not touch the product or the adapter with wet hands.
• Do not use devices such as hair dryers or clothes dryers for drying. Allow the
blanket to dry by air.
• Do not immerse the cord, plug or the entire product in water or other liquids.
• Do not expose the product to environmental conditions (rain, sun etc.) and do
not use the product in high humidity areas or the bathroom.
• Do not insert any sharp objects into the Heating Blanket.
• Take care not to pinch the blanket and cable when using it.
• Do not use the product in a folded or crumpled state and do not tuck it in.
• Use this Heated Blanket as an over-blanket only. It should not be used with futons
or similar folding bedding systems.
• When used on your bed, ensure there are no heavy objects on the blanket and
that it is not positioned below your pillows.
• Never cover the controller.
• Do not iron the Heated Blanket.
• This Heated Blanket is not a medical product and is not suitable for
therapeutic purposes.
• Overuse of the blanket at a high heat setting may result in skin irritation.
• Connect the control element to the Heated Blanket before you plug the power
plug into the power outlet.
• Only use this blanket with the control unit provided (RU1-1A/T9).
• The product is equipped with an overheating protection. If this fuse is triggered,
the product will no longer function. In this case, contact a qualified technician.
• Ensure that the Heated Blanket does not overhang the mattress.
• Do not dry clean this Heated Blanket as cleaning solutions may corrode
the insulation. Clean this blanket only following the instructions provided.
• This blanket is for human use only, do not use with pets.
• This Heated Blanket must not be used over or under a waterbed.

Intended use
The Blanket is not a medical device and is not suitable for therapeutic
purposes or within hospitals. The Heated Blanket must not be used to warm
babies, infants, helpless or heat- insensitive individuals or animals. Use only in
dry indoor rooms. Use the product only for its prescribed purpose.

Operating instructions
Place the Heated Blanket over your body ensuring there are no folds or crumples.
The side with the socket (shown in the image directly below) should be facing
upwards and not against your body.
Ensure that the plug of the controller is inserted firmly into the socket on the blanket
and then insert the plug into the mains power outlet.

Operating the Controller
Firstly, slide the ON / OFF switch upwards so the notch on the switch is aligned with
the number “1”.
You will notice two red numbers in the LED display. The number on the left refers to
the heat setting and the number on the right refers to the countdown timer setting.
Press the “Temp” button repeatedly to select your desired heat setting. Setting “0”
has no heat setting. Setting “1” gives the lowest heat with “9” being the maximum.
Press the “Timer” button repeatedly to select the desired operating hours. The
numbers 1-9 are shown in hours and “H” represents 12 hours. The blanket will
operate until the selected time period has elapsed. When the time has run out the
blanket will stop heating and the LED display will switch off. To restart the blanket,
slide the ON / OFF switch downwards to “0” and then upwards to “1”.
If using for a prolonged period of time it is recommended to set the temperature
setting to “9” for the first hour and then decrease the setting to between “1” and
“4” for the remaining time.
Important: When the blanket is not in operation, please slide the ON / OFF switch
downwards to “0” and disconnect from the mains power supply.

Care and maintenance
Here are some tips to keep your Heated Blanket in tip-top condition. Please don’t dry
clean, tumble dry, or iron your Heated Blanket to avoid damage.
Spot cleaning
Sponge the dirty area using a warm soapy solution and when clean
sponge the same area lightly with warm water. Remove any excess
water using an paper towel or absorbent cloth and then leave to fully
dry before use.
Machine washing
Always disconnect the control panel from the electric blanket before
washing. Wash at maximum 40°C for a gentle wash.
Hand washing
Always disconnect the control panel from the electric blanket before
washing. Do not wring your Heated Blanket.
Drying
Let your Heated Blanket dry naturally by air, do not tumble dry or use a
hair dryer or clothes dryer to dry it. If you are hanging it to dry please
drape it over the line and don’t use pegs.
Storage
When not in use, fold your Heated Blanket and store in a cool, clean
and dry location. Avoid pressing sharp creases into your blanket when
folding. Only fold and store your blanket when it's fully cooled down.
